It was after the party. I was just laying on my bed, waiting for sleep to take over, but it never came. I wasn't sure what I was feeling right now honestly. Whether I was anxious, or happy. I could be anxious because Caustic could easily tell the syndicate that I, Tae Joon Park was her in the Apex Games, but I could also be happy because everyone in here knew the truth and didn't see as some idiot murderer. I had gone to the bench where I had told Nat my real name, and was thinking about something. The questions that Renee had asked me. The one question about if I like Natalie or not. I couldn't like her though, right? I decided to list everything that hinted a crush on Natalie.

• I smile only when she speaks

• We held hands

• I let her hug me

• I was thinking of her when I was framed as the mole.

• I had only, at first, called her by her real name

• When she got hurt I was by her side instead of working

The list went on. It was only when I reached about twenty things that I knew I answered truthfully. I most definitely liked her.

I was thinking about Tae. Did I like him? For some strange reason, I thought I did. I didn't want to tell him though. What if I really don't? What if I ruin the friendship we have right now? What if he's just baiting me into a trap or something. I quickly erased the third option from my mind. No way he would do that, I thought. He's knows what it's like, and knows the pain. No way he would that. And I knew it to be true. I then gave myself a small shock, and a few seconds later, the third thought was gone. I did, however need to deal with a new burn on my upper arm. Oh well, I thought. I wouldn't need to explain anything as I did work with electricity. Also, it doesn't hurt, at all. I pulled myself out of my thoughts. I felt thirsty, and went downstairs to get water. I then saw Renee there.

I heard someone come down the stairs. I looked and saw Natalie. She smiled at me, and got some water. I then decided to ask her something. I looked around, saw no one there, heard no warnings, and turned to Nat again. "Nat, do you like Tae?" She turned back to me, looked around as I had done. Then, she sat next to me on the couch. "I don't know," she admitted. I remembered how Tae had answered my question about liking Nat. It wasn't a thought out answer, but I could tell that he actually did like her. He just didn't realize his own feeling yet. "There's no way he would like me back though," Nat said suddenly. "Honestly," I said. "I don't think those feelings are one sided."
