𖡡 Asgard

They had been holding onto each other for a long time as they used to do before until... a loud sniff came from behind. They pulled away to look at the source to see Thor sobbing and Loki standing completely still awkwardly.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Frigga asked pointing at Loki.

"What? No, he is not." Nova panicked slightly.

"Who knows what future holds or us." Loki said with a grin on his face which annoyed Nova greatly as she send a glare to him.

"Who is he then?" Frigga asked boldly.

"That's terribly long story. Let me take it short; he is me." Nova said. "Oh, that was way too short."

"What do you mean he is me?" Frigga opens and closes her mouth several times before being able to form a sentence.

"He is from another dimension in role of me. He is Loki Laufeyson." Nova tried explaining. "And this is Thor who is in role of Dora in their dimension."

"What are they doing here then?!" Frigga asked.

"They came here accidentally. They are in danger." Nova said.

"You realise that this is putting all of the universe in danger right?" Frigga told.

"What danger?" Loki frowned.

"I know and the thing I am trying to do is to send the back." Nova ignored Loki's question. "By the way, is this really your focus now? I am going to assume that you are not glad to see me after all this time."

"I was thinking how I will handle two of you. I still remember your pranks." Frigga chuckled.

An awkward silence fell that the atmosphere felt heavy with the tension. Each one of them was amplifying the awkwardness that was hung between them like a thick fog. Finally, Frigga breaks the silence:

"Have you forgiven me?" directed her words to Nova.

"Did you really try everything you could to stop Odin?" Nova asked in response.

"He had decided to give you to Hel since the time he took you from Jotunheim. That is why you have a Midgardian name. I argued with him for thousand times, but he wouldn't even hear me." Frigga explained.

"I have to meet him, right?" Nova asked with a sigh.

Frigga nods sadly.

Nova had been standing in front of the door of Odin's room for past 10 minutes, staring mindlessly. Neither Thor nor Loki came with her not being able to see Odin in ill state again. So she was just collecting strength to talk with Odin after all the things he had done to her.She took a deep breath and opened the door to see Odin laying on his bed, breathing rapidly due to his sickness.

She had imagined this moment for thousand times. This moment when she could let all of the poison that was collected in her heart. This moment when she could hold him responsible for all of her scars, when she would not be a scared little girl in front him anymore. And yet she found herself biting her lips to stop the words that would come out of her mouth.

Odin turned his face to see her- the girl that had turned into his fear, in front of him. His eyes widened when he saw her expression, her coldness. He could feel her hatred.

"Were you happy?" Nova asked glaring at him. "When you made me live all those nightmares."

"That was a...mistake." Odin spoke with a raspy voice.

"A mistake...the thing you call a mistake cost me my life." Nova said trying to remain calm.

"I am-i am sorry." Odin said.

"Sorry! I am honoured!" She loses her temper and yells. "You aren't sorry, you just regret having me against you. Because, you know that I would come for revenge. You took away my family, my childhood, my smile. And it is now the time to answer for your crimes."

"I had to do it for the sake of Asgard!" Odin tries to find an excuse.

"You had to abuse me for the sake of Asgard?! Don't be ridiculous, we both know what you are. You took me and turned me into a monster foolishly. And then thought that I would let this all go." Nova lost her temper. "You gave me pain and you will pay for that. I won't let you continue your life peacefully. Because that is what justice is. Justice is making you live the same pain I did. I won't let you hide the cruelty in you. Everyone will see what you truly are!"

Odin started breathing even more heavily.

"Help me!" He said in broken words. But Nova was simply standing and glaring at his struggle with a cruel expression on her face. She knew that Odin was dying, however she was doing nothing against it.

She finally called the guards when she knew that there was no way of saving Odin. She saw Dora rushing to Odin's room.

"Go to my room, Nova." Dora told to her.

Nova didn't want to stay at this room anyways. She wasn't able to bear seeing his face anymore. So, she did as Dora said.
