Do you hate me now?
Those were the only question on his mind right now

Nevermind the way you stare at him, nevermind for you seem to accept his touch half-heartedly, nevermind how emotionless you are right now.

All he wanted to do was to warp you on his arms and hold you tight to he did. He did without hesitating and warp you in his arms. Gently holding you on the back of your neck before guiding your face on his neck as you continue to cry silently.

Even if you admit that you are indeed the reason why his father could not keep his promises with their family, how could he hate you?

He swear he felt you flinch when he said that

"I could never (First name)"

He smile bitterly 

He loved you far too much to hate you.

Other than that, he felt some sort of relief and confirmation of his father's disappearance. And that made him made up his mind upon what Adam White had told him back then while waiting for the landing.

Gently withdrawing himself away from you to take a good look on your face while is still crying silently unable to look at him.

He once again have a gentle smile on his face as if to reassure you.

"Hey look at me"

He gently caresses your cheeks

"I would never hate you (first name)"

He pinch your cheeks for you to look at him but still refuses to do so

"If you kept refusing to meet my eyes I'll kiss you"

He chuckle 

Still you refuses to do so, this cause him to do as he promised, gently holding you by your chin, he made you face him, and without missing a second, he pressed his lips upon yours.

"Looking at me now?"

He smile

But upon seeing your flustered yet still not looking at him face, he could only chuckle. Once again leaning close for a kiss. Unlike the first one, its was longer than a peck and he did not miss the way you seem to chase after it as he pull away with a smile.

"Hmm? Is it just me or you're still looking away from me darling"

He smirk

Flustered as hell as you are right now, you were about to face him and tell him to stop when you were grab on the back of your neck, his lips on yours as he kiss you close eyes. You stay in place for a moment, then you give in, kissing him back passionately. 

"Do you still think that I could hate you?"

"Aren't you been kissing me lots nowadays?"

"Do you not like it?"

He smile innocently as you talked foreheads touching

That made you look away at him one again.

"Still... Your father.."

"The matter between why father and I goes between him and I only"

He said with a sigh, hands on your back gently rubbing it

"Still.."

"But if you don't mind.. Would you mind telling me what happened?"

He smile gently at you, and you nod.

You tell him what had happened from the very beginning, stopping here and there whenever you recall painful memories, he was their by your side, silently and reassuringly holding your hands. 

You tell him what happened inside the dungeon, how you were being chased to be killed, how you met his father how he held you, the stories he spoke telling you about his kids that you just remembered. 

How the two of you were being chased not only by the people coming after you but countless of monsters too. How his father told you to go and leave first. You told him how you run nonstop, never looking back as his father advised. And how he never make it out after that.

"That was the reason why you always avoided the crowd"

He mumble

You could just nod, fingers fidgeting as silence passed by the two of you.

Looking down on your fingers, you could not help but to smile bitterly. 

"A part of my mind have always blocked those memories from coming by that's why I never recognize it was your father all along who saved me. After all there was barely picture of him in your house.."

"But when you saw the pictures memories came rushing back like a wave hitting the shore?"

He spoke and you nod once again

Once again there was silence.

He must have really hate you now.

"Ji- Jinwo?!"

You were surprised by his actions

He felt him pat you in the back

"I'm sorry I couldn't be there when you were at your lowest"

For some odd reason, the frightened little girl inside you trapped in the same scenario over and over again is slowly being unleashed by the past.

"It was my father who protected you back then, I'll be the one to protect you now"

He smile sadly 

He always despite his father somewhere deep in his heart, moreover now that there was this thing in the international hunter associations.

He always despite him for abandoning their family, so how bittersweet it felt for him right now. The girl he loves was the price for his father's action back then for leaving them.

At the same time he was thankful to have this girl by his side, thankful for his father for saving the girl that would soon be the reason for him to live and be strong enough.

"So just to make things clear my love, I don't hate you. Just like how my father doesn't regret saving you. I don't hate you, I could never hate you"

He spoke, withdrawing away from you to look at you directly in the eyes.

"But-"

"If you kept saying but I'm going to get mad"

He pout as if ready to get frustrated in any moment 

That causes you to laugh, which cause him to smile.

"Thank you"

You spoke softly at him

You were really afraid he will resent you.

"Oh! About Adam White, what happened?"

"About that.."

He seems reluctant to tell you but with a sigh, he gave in

There he told you about what had happened after you lost consciousness in the plane, he told you about the matters regarding his father and what he could have possibly done. What he might be a different being now.

There was a moment of silence after that, that is why he was reluctant to tell you, for in this matter too his father is deeply involved.

You spoke, casually pushing back your (hair color) locks away from your face

He spoke, a grin on his face

"Seven star? You mean Liu Zhigang?"

You gulp

"Yeah, I mean he did ask for my information, but I don't quite get the fact why he was asking for you too"

He smile at you

You could not but to fake laugh,

"Hahahahaha I wonder why"

You then proceed to grab him by his arm and drag him to the van parked nearby.

"Now now dear, why don't we hurry up and get back to the guild? We still have things to prepare because we're attending the international guild conference"

You spoke cheerfully

"... Right"

Jinwo agreed and followed you yet is still glaring at the text message in regards to your information matter.
