*Emmets Pov*

After my princess fell asleep I kissed her cheek before slowly getting up. As much as it pains me to leave her side , I had business to attend to.

I walked downstairs and spotted Kane drinking a beer with his regular mad face on. I grabbed the beer from him chugging it all down as he rolls his eyes.

"I want you to guard my room while Im in the meeting, and if she wakes up get her something to eat" I say as he nods and walks upstairs,

"Oh Mr.King is she awake yet? Did you ask her out already? Is she the one? Like the one your in love with like in the movies when the guys rescues a damsel in distress and all that?" Lisa asks quickly as my eyes widened at how excited she was that I brought a girl home for the first time,

"Never mind I'll just get some clothes for her, wouldn't want her walking around the mansion naked" Lisa says as I thought about my princess naked making me smile only to frown when the thought of where I was came in mind,

I glared at her as the thought of my men eyeing my innocent kitten came into my head. Of course I would've killed whoever looked at her wrongly in a heartbeat.

The old lady put her hands up in defense before I walked past her. I walked into my office seeing my men stand up with a respectful bow. I sat down behind my desk nodding as they sat down.

"Boss, the Jefferson's payment didnt come through last night" Liam says as I nod,

"Did you make it go through?" I asked looking at the papers on my desk,

"Yes boss, they suffered slowly before we emptied all of their accounts" He says as I looked through a file on my desk,

"What about the Garcia's?" Ken asks as everyone turns to the youngest member of the gang,

Ken was the youngest in the gang. He was 6'1, blonde, grey eyed, and also 16. I know, why is he in the gang at a young age? Well just to let you know he is my cousin. My aunt and uncle died and I decided to take him in since I was the only family he had.

"What about the Garcia's?" Justin spat as I glared at him,

"Well they attacked Ben and Jake on the last drop off saying they were going to try and plan a surprise attack any moment now" he says with fear as Justin chuckles,

"Those jackasses of a gang are to pussy to even step near our mansion" Justin laughs as I glare at him,

"Theres something else" Ken says nervously,

"What?" I asked as Justin continues to laugh,

"They found out about Jezzabelle" he says avoiding my glare as Justin stops laughing,

"What?!" Justin snaps as I look at him confused,

"They sent three men yesterday to the club and tried to do a drive by, but they failed and one of the men we questioned passed out before telling us that Leo knows about your weakness, and that he'll have her in his arms without you knowing any moment now" he finished as I stood up angrily,

"Justin, take care of the rest of this shit! I need to check on my princess" I say walking out,

I walked upstairs to my bedroom wanting- no needing to have Jezzabelle in my arms. I wasn't worried about Leo's threat, I was worried that the more I leave my baby alone , the more anyone can easily plan on taking her from my embrace. Just thinking of that made me angry, the thought of another man taking my princess away was killing me. I would never let her out of my sight. She's mine, if anyone ever hurt her I wouldn't hesitate to kill them. I will always take care of whats mine, and Jezzabelle was mine, forever.

I came to my floor as I noticed Kane wasn't where I ordered him to be. I walked into my room seeing Lisa already brought her some clothes that were still on the bed. I folded them and put them in the drawer by my bed. I walked out of the room and walked downstairs. Of course, kane must've taken her to the kitchen. I walked down the hallway hearing voices and I stopped by the door eavesdropping.

"Wow, you have a big appetite, when was the last time you ate a nice breakfast?" I hear Lisa ask,

"When I was 6" I heard my angel reply as the room quiets down,

"Whats wrong?" I hear her voice say as my jaw clenched,

"Oh my goodness" Lisa gasps,

"Umm what are you doing?" I hear her ask,

"I love you so much sweetie, from now on you need anything come to me, I will always be here for you" Lisa says as I lean closer to the closed door,

"Look, Lis thank you , but I dont need your sorrow. Im fine with what happened and nothing can change that" I hear her say as I can practically see Lisa taken back,

"I can" I say opening the door as I take in my angels view,

She was facing Lisa the other way as I noticed she was wearing a white tank, she had her wet hair in a messy bun, and she was wearing a pink booty shorts that made me aroused.

She stayed in her frozen state as I took that chance to walk closer to her. I towered over her small figure that was still smaller then me even when shes on a high stool. I grabbed the stool she was on and lifted it up as she grasped the stool. I turned it around as she stared at the ground. I placed ny hand under her chin before lifting her head up slowly. She looked up at me with intriguingly beautiful light brown eyes. I caressed her cheek before pulling a strand of her wet hair behind her ear.

"Jezzabelle, why haven't you had a good breakfast since you were 6?" I asked crossing my arms angrily as she looks down,

"B-Because I-I didn't w-want to" She studdered as my jaw clenched,

"Dont fucking lie to me!" I snapped angry now that she lied to me,

"Emmet" I hear kane say as I turned to glare at him,

He glared at me before walking out. Lisa stayed staring at us intensely as I tapped my foot waiting for the innocent kitten in front of me to answer me.

"Jezzabelle, Look at me!" I snapped as she sighed and slowly lifted her head up,

"Why havent you?!" I snapped as my anger was coming out,

"Because....I couldn't!"She yelled back before putting her head in her hands,

"Why not?!" I snapped still trying to push her limit,

I knew I was stepping over the line but I had to know why my princess was this way. If only she knew how badly I want murder the fuckers who touched her, and now Im gonna kill the person who took my baby's health of having a good breakfast. I mean she was already abused and tormented for to long and I want to know some answers damn it! I want them now!

"Because they wouldnt let me" She said letting out small sobs,

I wrapped my arms around her and lifted her into my arms, bridal style, as she sobbed into my chest. I walked towards the couch in the living room and placed her down on my lap as I sat down.

"Princess, I need to know who they are, the more you hold in to these answers, the more I cant help myself but want to make you tell me the answers I need" I say as she hiccuped,

"My parents" She whispered as my head perked up angrily.
