Merida's POV

I thought the proposal would be the hardest thing in everything but now I know it's not true.

The maids are running frantically making me panic a bit,I mean who doesn't start panicking when someone else starts panicking.

Mother entered the room looking around a bit scared.

"What is wron' Mom?"

"My darlin' are ye ready?"

"Is it time"I said panicky making Mother shake her head.

I sighed in relief and she smiled while putting a hand on her chest.

"What?"

"I never imagined seein' my beautiful daughter get married"

I blushed,remembering that I said I was never going to fall in love but here I am getting ready for a marriage I actually want.

"I can't believe we managed to tame 'at wild hair"

I rolled my eyes and saw my bow an arrows,at least I still have those.

I just wished I could have been able to see Hiccup before all of this but I can't because of the "bad luck" thing.

Which is kind of dumb but since magic is real I don't want to take any chances.

My hands became really sweaty and I rubbed my hands together trying to stop the sweat.

"Breath in an' out darlin'"Mother said while making breathing motions and I nodded making me face palm.

I can shoot arrows and try to stop bears but I can't breath in and out for something simple as a my own wedding.

Who am I kidding?,it's my wedding!!

Mother grabbed my brush and started brushing my hair that know didn't have any tangles or knots like it used to.

"Merida darlin' calm down it will only make things worse"

I nodded and tried calming down which did work.

"Merida darlin' breath yer gettin' red like yer hair"

A heavy sighed left my mouth making my mom glare and reposition me.

Is that even a word?

Well that doesn't really matter because now I completely forgot about the wedding until I hear the maids whisper about "it's time yer Highness".

Mother smiled as she left,right, father is going to lead me down the hall.

A heavy sigh escape my lips once again,why does this have to be so nerve breaking.

"Come on Merida my darlin'"Father said while offering his hand.

I came down from the pedestal and looped my arm with Father's and we slowly made our way out to the back field.

Father chuckled when he saw that I was shaking.

"Merida darlin' calm down this is yer special day nothin' will go wrong unless ye pit yer min' into it"

"How do ye know?"

"Ah was just like you same expression an' Ah broke th' table 'at had th' cake"

I laughed softly and smiled at him.

"Thank ye"

He smiled as he let me down to where Hiccup and where Mother was.

It's traditional for the Queen to wed the Princess and the new Prince.

"Ye better not do anythin' funny youn' lass"Father said making my eyes widen and blush.

"Until after th' weddin' if ye know what I mean"Father quickly added.

Hiccup nodded politely as we faced Mother but I could see him blush.

"Welcome ladies an' gentleman we are here to witness th' reunion of Princess Merida of Dunbroch an' Chief Hiccup Haddock Horrendous th' Third in matrimony. They waited for each other for 10 years an' now they will be together forever. May they bide happily wi' many many children. May I please have th' crowns?"

Mom grabbed my crown and placed it in my head and then placed Hiccup's crown in his head.

"By th' power invested in me I now pronounce ye Princess Merida of Dunbroch an' Prince Hiccup of Dunbroch,ye may kiss."

Mother grinned widely as I faced Hiccup and our lips soon met making everyone burst into cheers.

We all slowly made our way inside making me slouch a bit.

I hear Hiccup chuckle besides me making me look at him.

"Whit?"

"You haven't changed at all...in some ways"

I looked at him and he just smiled while taking out the chair for me to sit which I did and he soon joined me.

We locked our hands together under the table making Alec aww.

The triplets smirked making me blush harder.

Can't believe their eighteen already.

Mother and Father entered making us all stand up.

She motioned me and Hiccup to cut the cake making the both of us blush as I gripped the knife first and his hand on top of mine making my hand look smaller.

We slowly cutted and started handing pieces to the servants so they can hand it out.

Once everyone had a piece we were able to sit back which is a bit reliefing because my feet hurt.

"Did I mention that you look beautiful"Hiccup whispered making my eyes widen.

"Hiccup"I hissed/whispered while blushing making him laugh.

We sat down and everyone started drinking,laughing and giving us both gifts.

~~~30 Minutes Later~~~

It's so tempting to just leave,and go to bed.

The only thing that is keeping me from staying is that I'm not sleepy and because my Mother hasn't excused us.

Hiccup looked bored and I can't blame him but some of the drunk people are actually pretty hilarious.

"That's is my song, they came to take me to my home in Irish"Snoutlet said drunk and laughing.

I pressed my lips together trying not to laugh since the song isn't really "Irish" at all.

"Queen Elinor said that both the Princess and Prince are excused"A servant said making the both of us get up,excuse ourselves and go into our new room.

My mouth dropped a little as we entered the room.

"It's big"I mumbled and heard the door close.

I jumped and quickly took out my bow and arrows.

Two arms wrapped around my waist and I looked at Hiccup.

"Shsh calm down Merida it's me"Hiccup whispered making me blush.

My breath hitched as I noticed that his hands went on top of my hands.

He slowly untangled my fist that gripped my bow.

"Hiccup can ye remind me why you had to go back to Berk"I whispered as he put my bow down in a table.

"I had to make a home for the both of us in Berk"He whispered as he planted a kiss in my cheek.

A small smile appeared on my face as I escaped his embrace and went near the new bed.

Hiccup trapped me once again making me turn around and kiss him slowly.

His hands went to my back where the string hold the dress in place.

My face heated up a bit but that didn't make us stop,he then...

Hiccup's POV

My eyes slowly opened as the sun hit my face.

Why did I do that?

I groaned a bit and rubbed my face as I slowly sat up.

Two soft yet firm arms stopped me from getting up though.

I chuckled as I saw Merida sleeping soundly.

I touched her hair and noticed that it was wet.

She musn't woken up early and taken a shower.

I grabbed her arms and slowly removed them so I can't wake her.

The water was cold making me remember Berk,but after a while of untangling my hair,I got out and dressed in another set of clothes I had.

"Hicc"

"Rida good morning"I said as I hugged her.

"Good mornin' Hicc"She said as she gave me a kiss in the cheek.

I smiled and intertwined my hands with hers.

"Looks like everything will alright"I said making her blush but nod.

The doors burst open making the both of us jump.

"Un hand 'er"King Fergus said angrily while pointing a sword to me.
