When Mai arrived at the airport in New York she was welcomed by her friend Drew who was waiting for her with his arms spared wide as he saw her.

“Hey sweetheart haw are you doing?” he asked as he hugged her. Mai knew that probably David or Ben had called him while she was on the plane and he probably knew the whole story of her brake up with Matt

“How am I going to be? Heartbroken.” She answered as he took her bags from her and drove her to her apartment. She was silenced the whole way just looking out of the window seeing as they rushed through the busy streets of New York.

I has been a week of crying and chocolate and everything that come with brake up so Drew had enough of it. She was going to get up and go out have fun. I he knew the exactly what he was going to do. It was the beginning of June and summer was just starting. Drew booked two tickets in first class to Venice.

“Start packing.” He said as he entered her apartment she looked at him like he was out of his mind

“Why? Where are we going?” she asked wanting to know where he was taking her

“We are going to travel the world?” he said with a goofy smile on his face

“What?” she asked her eyes popping out “I thought you and...” she was cut of mid sentence.

“My girlfriend is too busy to come so I’m taking you with me and Belinda will join us.” He said as she smiled at his offer she could not say no you never say no to Drew

She slept the whole flight to Venice.

Belinda was already waiting for them in the airport. She hugged Mai tight and give her a kiss on the cheek.

“Hola how are you doing chica?” she asked her as they got in the cab to drive them to the hotel

“Fine I’m getting on with my life.” And that is how her first summer without him in her life started she was letting go of the past and enjoying life the fullest. The paparazzi never left her alone but she didn’t care she was happy with her friend traveling the world.

The summer was ending soon so Mai, Drew and Belinda decided that they needed to see one amazing concert. They were in Prague and they were going to have fun. The decision fell to a band called Hot Chelle Rae they had a good concert and Drew’s manager arranged for them to met the stars of the band. In that moment Mai had no idea she was going to have a life changing experience.

Back in London David left the set of Doctor Who wishing Matt all the best for his years as the Doctor. He was enjoying himself the crew was amazing and everything was fine but his mind kept going to a certain brunet.

“Hey. What’s with you? You look a little down; let me guess you are thinking of her.” Said Karen he had told her his story with Mai it was a wearied thing he felt as if he could tell her anything.

"I can’t get her out of my head.” He said with a sight Karen looked at him with a sad look in her eyes “What?” he asked noticing the look on her face.

“I don’t know if i should show you this, but...” she stopped giving him the newspapers. On the front page was  a big picture of Mai and some guy he didn’t recognize laughing the title said

The 26 years old pop star Maite Perroni was seen in the company of the Ryan Follesé the part of the band Hot Chelle Rae the couple was seen in a restaurant in Los Angles in company of friends.

Matt’s expression went blank. She had forgotten him wile he was still thinking of her.
