Creme brulee cookie's POV & situation, Time: [9:45~10:00]

I heard the announcement, placed my pages in the briefcase, and left my room then reached the lobby at the right time, several cookies that I hadn't seen before were there.

Milk jelly cookie: "Hello, hello! Everyone that has been invited, thank you for coming to our hotel, though guess there is one guest coming la-."

Epic cookie: "Yes I am late."

Milk jelly cookie: "Ah! Oh uh, yes. Everyone is here.

My eyes were clearly confused, Epic cookie? The hero that almost defeated the dark enchantress? literally is here, I mean that is a rumor.

Epic cookie: "Sorry to keep anyone waiting."

Milk jelly cookie: "No-no Epic cookie, you had just come in time. Well visitors, today is your first day, so I will be saying one announcement, today we will have a nice dinner with everyone in the dining hall in the afternoon and the last day of your stay will finish off with a bawl dance! Better think of your dance partners! That's all, please enjoy your stay."

Everyone was talking amongst themselves, some were going back to their rooms. I decided to go back to my room as well. After all, I do need to practice more.

Linzer cookie's POV & situation, Time: [9:48~10:15]

I was talking with SBJ cookie with the next book he gave me a few ideas, however, that didn't hit a light bulb to my next story.

Linzer cookie: "I am not getting that spark of idea that I will write."

SBJ cookie: "How about you check crime scene files? Maybe that will turn on a light bulb?"

Linzer cookie: "I don't think that will help either, I need. Uh. Better inspiration, not that I am saying those weren't good ideas."

SBJ cookie: "Don't worry, I understand."

SBJ cookie looked like he was thinking.

SBJ cookie: "How about finding what gives your inspiration like, good and important inspiration."

I thought about it for a moment, then a flashback was sliding in my head. 'Creme brulee's song playing...perhaps that will work?'

Linzer cookie: "I think I found it...I guess?"

SBJ cookie: "Really? What is it?"

I got off the chair and started to walk.

Linzer cookie: "If you are that curious, follow me."

SBJ cookie: "Alright, next stop, inspiration."

Creme brulee cookie's POV & situation, Time: [10:25~10:50]

I was practicing once again, noted what I should note for the performance, but I was shocked when I read the invitation letter again, it seems I am not playing. But I thought to myself, might as well do practice.

But then I heard the creaking of a door opening. I looked behind and it was Linzer and SBJ cookie.

Creme brulee cookie: "Why did you guys come here? Is it something related to me?"

Linzer cookie: "Sort of. Uh, can you play one song for us, something related to uh, crime scene related?"

I thought to myself, but I accepted anyway.

Creme brulee cookie: "Sure, uh, can it be a short piece?"

She smiles.

Linzer cookie: "I don't mind."

I get ready to play the song.

After I was done.

Linzer cookie: "Oh, this theme? How did you know this was one of my favorites?"

Creme brulee cookie: "Well, that's it? Is that enough?"

Linzer cookie was thinking but she looked like she wanted to see more? I think?

Linzer cookie: "Well, you see Creme brulee cookie, I am actually trying to get inspiration for my next novel."

Creme brulee cookie: "Oh, I see don't worry. I got one more song to play."

When I was done playing, honestly, I felt somewhat happy that Linzer cookie was listening to my songs, Ah what am I saying.

Creme brulee cookie: "Okay is that enough perhaps?"

Linzer cookie: "That is more than enough, Creme brulee cookie, thank you."

SBJ cookie: "You learned that so just to play it to her?"

I felt embarrassed and nervous to tell the truth.

SBJ cookie: "So obvious, so obvious. You are the type of cookie that wouldn't play that genre."

Linzer cookie was surprised but smiled at me.

Linzer cookie: "Oh really Creme brulee cookie? Or is SBJ cookie just saying one of his hunches?"

I felt my cheeks flash a bit red.

Creme brulee cookie: "It was a bit too obvious wasn't it?"

SBJ cookie: "Totally obvious. I listen to your songs you know~."

Linzer cookie: "Well, thank you, Creme brulee cookie."

Linzer cookie left, but SBJ cookie didn't and spoke out.

SBJ cookie: "I want to speak with you for a moment."

I tilt my head and turn around getting off my chair.

Creme brulee cookie: "Well what is it?"

SBJ cookie: "Well, I wanted to ask this and really wanted to know, uhm, you know when you guys used to date uhm, what did you do?"

An odd yet a bit personal question but, might as well say the truth, after all the doors now locked after Linzer cookie left.

Creme brulee cookie: "...Well, was it- 3 years ago. I- I met her on a train. At first we talked a for days. and uh-"

SBJ cookie: "Ah, so that's first love in one sight."

Creme brulee cookie: "I had dated for her a long time."

Creme brulee cookie: "I would always wait for her coming down and using just a bike to go to our dating destination I guess. But a year after, we both well, actually, I thought of breaking up with her was a good idea because we couldn't spend time with each other more you know?"

SBJ cookie: "I know that part. It's obvious, honestly I thought there would have been more drama. So after you said that we should break up, uh, not to hurt you or anything, but what did she say?"

Creme brulee cookie: "...sigh. We both knew that we had to, I honestly was scared, After all I was the one that left first after saying that."

SBJ cookie: "Tsk, tsk."

I was confused for a sudden.

Creme brulee cookie: "What do you mean 'tsk tsk?"

SBJ cookie: "You had lost your chance of love just like that. What a waste. Honestly a young man like you deserves her."

Creme brulee cookie: "Sigh...I knew this relationship would not have been stable if we kept it while we can't see each other and-."

SBJ cookie: "Sigh of frustration...what I am saying is that you lost your chance, you will never find a girl like her again."

I sort of flinched while I was hearing that but I turned around back to the piano and sat on the chair.

Creme brulee cookie: "..."

SBJ cookie: "But it is your loss, so I will not say more, but just one question, 'would you find a girl like her even if you have the power to see the whole world?' ciao, Creme brulee."

He left just like that and closed the door behind him.

I ignored him and went back to the piano to practice, but his question made me think deeply.

Linzer cookie's POV & situation, Time: [11:00~11:11]

I was writing some notes for the next novel that I would make. It seems like listening to Creme brulee cookie's songs that he played, kind of reminds me of when I had a story block and he had played the piano for me to refresh my mind.

SBJ cookie: "Writing notes?"

Linzer cookie: "Yes I am writing notes. What was the long hold back?"

SBJ cookie: "Oh no just asking Creme brulee about your 'used date' story with him. Oh! Sorry for my cheap mouth."

Linzer cookie: "I blush a little, oh, how was it?"

SBJ cookie: "How was it, oh so miserable!"

Linzer cookie: "?"

I was straight and confused.

SBJ cookie: "Two people had lost their chance of love, and now. Separated to their pathways. Oh sorry, I got a bit dramatic there."

I clearly knew who he was talking about.

Linzer cookie: "I am sure I will find someone eventually."

SBJ cookie: "Yeah I am 'sure'."

Linzer cookie: "I am sure there are many people out there that will suit for a relationship."

SBJ cookie: "Linzer cookie, since you did travel the world a bit which was pretty short, did you ever find any cookie's that were the same as Creme brulee, have a think."

I scoff with a smile.

Linzer cookie: "Yeah sure."

I thought about it for two minutes, I met many cookies, writers, talented artists, singers, lectures etc, but I thought again to check but no matter how many times I couldn't find a person that matched me.

Linzer cookie: "..."

I was silent.

SBJ cookie: "Sigh. Well, I will be going back to my room. Your facial expression already told me the answer."

I ignored the SBJ cookie, but again, I felt slightly odd. Was it that I missed those days? No of course not, After all, he is my ex.
