As the two bird-like warlocks left, Holden couldn't help but celebrate the 'overlord's' defeat. "Oh, so you think! Come, Ian!" The unicorn pranced around, delighted that the fairies might have a fighting chance now. "Oh-ho-ho-ho! Oh, did you see the look on his face?! I never doubted you!"

"Didn't you say he wasn't much?" Hannah recalled which the accused sheepishly laughed.

"I-I mean I always knew he had it in him," Holden replied at the accusation. "You got him, Seth! Owe!"

"Nice save," Johnny muttered whereas Seth replied in a blunt manner, "Really. Because I think he got me!" and spread his wings to emphasize his newfound appearance.

Holden's cheerful attitude faded at the mention of the human-turned animal, "Uh, yeah, well, he did score a... few points," before his tone shifted to one of encouragement, "But come on! Next time, he's going down!"

Seth rolled his eyes at the mythical creature's enthusiasm and shifted his attention to the Forest Guardian, "Is there anything you can do?"

Harrison somberly sighed, regret present in his sentence, "I am truly sorry. I wish I could... But over time, a few lucky fairies have escaped from Jeremy's palace." He gestured to the group of gathered animals.

"It was a close call," Brandon said, "But thanks to Camille, a little stink knocked the guard right out!"

"Guards didn't know what hit them. We were out before birdbrain even noticed," Brooklyn gloated.

Camille blushed at the praise, "It was nothing... I just asked the guard if he's ever smelt an orchid before. He said no..." before lifting her tail up in a mock gas manner, "Out like a light."

"But when we escaped, Harrison informed us that Jeremy's magic was too strong. That we might stay like this forever," Natalie chimed in as she rested on Matthew's head, "But he could weaken it."

"Weaken it?" Seth repeated.

"My powers are not strong enough to break Jeremy's spell completely. But I was able to turn the fairies back to themselves. Although the transformation lasts from sunset till dawn," Harrison informed, and right on cue, the sun began to set.

Seth thought the idea in his head, "Animal by day, human by night... is it possible for me to have the same effect?"

Harrison replied, "There is a chance," before taking a deep breath. The Guardian began to recite a light magic incantation before energy began to swirl around him. The energy soon left Harrison and circled around Seth, who began to glow slightly.

The sun had officially set and the animals began to take form. Light shined from each of the fauna and took the form of humans. The light died down to fully reveal each of the fairies. They all appeared in their teenage years, dressed in loose clothing, but still had some animal aspects to their appearance.

Holden revealed himself to be a young man with brown hair and hazel eyes. He had his unicorn horn still.

Kayla, the former white-tailed deer, was revealed to be an African American girl with black braid hair. Her animal aspect was her deer-like ears and tail.

Heaven, the former gray wolf, was a light skin African American girl with long braids of red-dyed hair with faint gray highlights and streaks. She still had her wolf tail.

Hannah, the former North American porcupine, was now a Caucasian girl with blonde hair and green eyes. She still retained a few quills on her back and briefly in her hair.

Brooklyn, the former red squirrel, was an African American girl with a black ponytail. Her animal aspect was her squirrel tail.

Matthew, the former boar, was a Hispanic boy with curly outgoing black hair. He had small tusks growing from his face.

Natalie, the former turtle dove, was a female brunette with amber eyes. She had a few feathers on her arms.

Brandon, the former red fox, was a Brazilian-American mix boy with black hair and hazel eyes. He retained his fox-tail.

Johnny, the former river otter, was a light skin boy with brown hair and a faint set of freckles. He still had his otter tail and some whiskers on his face.

Camille, the former striped skunk, was a light skin African American girl with slightly outgoing brown hair. She had a white stripe down her hair and a skunk tail.

All the fairies then eyed Seth, waiting for his transformation. The human saw he was not transforming and soon sighed. He was stuck like this forever.

The doubt soon disappeared as the Magic Crystal shined and the magic began to swirl around Seth. A brief bubble encompassed him before revealing Seth as a human once again and free of any animal aspects.

The light skin began to feel his body once again, "Elbows, fingers, legs, toes, a human face!" He was back.

"Ok, I'll be the first to say it," Holden admitted, "You look way better with arms instead of wings."

"I see when we lose the hooves, the unicorn is not as bad," Seth replied with a smirk as the rest of the fairies snickered amongst themselves.

"Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up," the male brunette dismissed before boasting, "But I still have my magic."

"Please. You can't even lift a rock in your human form," Kayla chided which caused the unicorn human to glare at her.

Harrison, while grateful that the spell had worked, mentioned the previous arrangement, "You realize when the sun rises..."

"... I'll be a swan again. But.. but I can't go home like this. There was to be a way to break this spell..." Seth determinedly stated.

"Now that's the spirit!" Heaven howled.

"We are all thanking you for helping us," Harrison echoed everyone's thoughts.

Seth smiled at the reassures. Maybe... Maybe he could be the one they were looking for. But still, he wanted to be human again. This time permanently and not temporary. "Is there anything that could potentially break the spell?" he asked the Forest Guardian.

Harrison pondered for a bit, thinking if there was something that could aid the chosen one in ending Jeremy's reign. "There is one possibility."

"What is it?"

"The Book of Forest Lore. It is an ancient text of legends and lores about the Enchanted Forest. From magical items to But that book can only be opened by the bearer of the Crystal," Harrison recalled.

"And lucky for us, we have the bearer," Kayla acknowledged.

"Where could I find it?" Seth asked.

"In the second deepest darkest part of the forest," Johnny shuttered at the thought, "The book is said to be in the possession of a fellow elf but I heard he sided with Jeremy."

"There is a rumor that the elf who guards it, *gulp* is terrifying!" Brandon stressed.

Seth partially shuttered at the idea of the elf that was loyal to the one who placed this curse on him, but he wanted to be himself again. And if that meant to stare down this elf, so be it. "Well, I'm not stopping until I get my true form back. Who's coming with me?"

"Absolutely not," Brandon and Johnny declined the offer in an instant. Camille was more honest with her reason, wanting to protect the forest. Matthew and Natalie opted to stay behind as the couple wanted to be with each other for the remainder of the night.

"Eh," Hannah shrugged, "we don't need them. I'm coming this time!" The blonde was enthusiastic and accidentally shot a few quills out. She immediately rubbed her head in a sheepish manner.

"Danger? Count me in," Holden boldly stated.

"And I'm coming because someone has to keep an eye on you," Kayla 'insisted.'

"And now I'm coming because someone has to keep you too from bickering," Heaven stated.

"Sure why not," Brooklyn added, "I can see what this traitor elf is all about."

Harrison nodded before tapping his wand to his hand, summoning a leaf with a sigil on it. He hands it to Seth saying, "The book is guarded by an elf named Simon. Use this to unlock the door to the vault."

"Thank you. I promised to do my best," said Seth as he nodded before leaving with the selected fairies at his side.

Harrison couldn't help but smile at the chosen one's newfound determination. The forest could be saved after all.

In the mansion, Stefan swerved around in his chair, reading a book about the wonders of the world. He had been in there for a while now and was currently reading up on the Colosseum for fortieth time.

Stefan often read this book as it was his getaway. But it was not the same as being there. His thoughts were interrupted when a crash was heard outside. And a pained cry so followed afterward. The prince exited the library to see Amar lying on the ground.

Stefan just shook his head and chuckled, "What happened?" The brunette's eyes soon drifted to a box, no doubt the cause of his friend in pain as he lacked the body strength.

"Hey, that's my package!"

"Yeah, I'm fine too thanks for asking," Amar replied as Stefan had completely ignored him. The Southeast Asian quickly dusted himself off before coming up with an excuse, "And no, this is nothing. Nothing at all! Just some dull boring stuff. Not worth your time."

"Then why would you bring it down the hallway?" Stefan asked his best friend with arms crossed. Amar went to retort but fell silent as he had no comeback. "... Let's just get it to your room."

The two young men lifted the box to Stefan's room before setting it down. Stefan, excited to see what was in the crate, immediately opened it but was taken aback by the content: a cubed version of a globe.

"Well... that's very incorrect," the prince commented.

"Good! I, for one, don't want to worry about what's out there anyway," Amar said before collapsing on the bed.

Stefan, on the other hand, just rested his palm against the incorrect version of the globe with a sense of longing.

"So much unexplored..."

"Oh come on, Stefan. Lighten up! There is danger around every corner. Why go so far and fall right off the surface," Amar asked.

Stefan crouched down to globe's level, still intrigued, "It's filled with adventure and wonders. But the most adventure I'll ever have is finding a princess for the royal ball." He turned to the window in his room and looked off, wondering about the possibilities he could have seen before being anchored down.

Amar shrugged at his statement, "It can't be that bad."

"You never know, Amar. Maybe there is something amazing to discover just around the corner," Stefan replied with his eyes to the outside.

Back at Seth's house, his dad was pacing back and forth, wondering where his son is. A knock on his door gave him hope, but it turned to sadness when he saw it was his neighbors.

"Any luck?" he asked, only to receive shakes from their heads.

"Well, thanks aways," he responded. The neighbors could only offer words of encouragement before turning around and going home for the night.

What puzzled Seth's dad was where his son could have gone. There was no note, only a text that said: "Be gone for a while." The text alone came around 5 and now the sun is down, which stressed the father out tremendously. All he could do was pray and wait, hoping to see his son again.
