He's ignoring me?!

"If it's not urgent, can you leave us?"

"I've got something to discuss with the duke."

Jake and Ian were childhood friends,

Let's just assume that he's here because Ian forced him to.

Considering how he's been giving me death stare that says, "Why are you here?"

Jake must be here to actually follow through on Ian's quest.

And to see his Sister that he love, Y/n.

A maid must have tipped him off as to where the duke was!

The duke listens to his every word,

and Jake knows i can't refuse his orders.

That's probably how he plans to keep me from bailing on the engagement.

And just now, he mentioned it directly, so the Duke could hear it too.

 "You're an evil little bastard, huh?" I said

"Who do you think you are?" I said

"Who are you to order me around?"

"Don't interfere in my relationship with Ian."

"What gives you the right?"

"Quit fooling around before i tear out all your hair."

"What, did he tell you to "Fix your sister's poor dead brain~" Or something?"

"And you're here to listen to him, Just like that?"

"ARE YOU THE CROWN PRINCE DOG?!"

"YOU MUST HAVE LOST YOUR SENSE AFTER WE LET YOU RUN AROUND WILD LIKE THE REBELLIOUS TEEN YOU ARE!"

"I suspected it before, but..." He Pause

"You must be really insane..." He continue

"Oh my god, please help me from the family reunion..." Mutter Y/n

"Look. i know you hate me." I said

"But it's not like i like you either, buddy~"

"I let you off the hook several times because you're my brother, but nowadays  You've really crossed the line."

"Yo."

"You don't treat me with respect as your older sister."

"So i'm not going to consider you as my brother either."

"Who would ever like a bastard that stabs his own sister back, like a coward?"

I guess he knows himself that snitching on me was a cowardly move.

"Also, your grace." I said

He flinch

...Oh, whatever.

"This is what i wanted to tell you today."

"I want to cancel off my engagement with Ian."

"I can't deal with him anymore."

"I won't ask you to help me,"

"But if you get in my way, i'll make you regret it."

"If you have any complaints, you can rap about it all you want."

Now then, i'll be taking my leave."

I think i was little too aggresive in the heat moment,

But oh, well, it should all work out.

~Meanwhile with Y/n~

"Well, i guess that's my cue to go-" Y/n got cut off by Jake.

"Sister, Wait!"

"Hm?"

"Umm, i bought you a gift..?"

"Jake, that is very sweet but, i remember, this is not my birthday"

"W-wait! i buy this when i was going to here!" (Is it right?)

"Oh? Umm okay..?"

"So please accept this gift from me!"

Is it just me or i feel like Jake look like a girl who just confessed to they're crush?

"Sure...?"

Jake give the gift to Y/n.

And Y/n walk out of the room.
