The mixed-blood Whale Paseton was killed while being chased by the mermaids. There was a reason he would be chased, and the information he had was very important for the war between the mermaids and the Whales.
"I heard that the young masters are from the Henituse family."
"... And?"
Witira and Paseton did not respond right away and exchanged glances with each other. That action made Kim even iffier. Witira finally turned toward Kim and started to speak.
"The forest of darkness. I wish to go there. No, I must go there."
Kim subconsciously answered after hearing something he had never expected to hear. Even Cale's eyes sharpened having not anticipated this undiscovered information that he nor Kim was aware of.
"Our territory?"
The forest of darkness. That was the place where Choi Han had lived for tens of years, as well as one of the western continent's five most dangerous and mysterious locations.
It was also the place that the Henituse family had kept under control of the kingdom for a very long time.
"I beg of you. We have prepared a large compensation for you as well. May we please go with you?"
The large and small whales both looked at them with sincerity. On and Hong Kim's knee with their front paws. It was their way of asking him to take the whales with them. At the same time, there was a knock on the door before it opened. It was the wolf child, Maes.
"Young masters-nim, here is your tea and snacks."
Two other wolf children came in with a tray and teapot. Beacrox was outside the door guiding them.
-I am much more handsome and beautiful, though you and funny uncle aren't bad either.
Kim heard Raon's mumbling before closing his eyes. He felt like he was standing in the middle of a chaotic whirlpool.
"Umm, young Master-nim?"
Kim raised his hand at Witira's cautious question, which made Witira stop talking. Once the wolf children left and the room became quiet once again, Kim slowly opened his eyes back.
He looked very calm with his back to the couch, as he sat there with his slightly messy hair, only being kept by being tied behind his back yet he still looked put together. However, in comparison, Kim's dark brown pupils looked so deep that you could not see the end.
Witira and Paseton were looking into Kim's eyes when they heard his calm voice.
"First, explain everything to me."
"We have had many battles, both large and small, with the mermaids over the years. We control the north and the mermaids control the south."
Paseton looked toward the twins. Kim, who was leaning on the couch, motioned to Paseton with his team to continue with his story. On and Hong peed at Kim's face before slowly moving away from Kim's knee and heading towards the corner of the room next to Raon.
"We are fighting to prevent the mermaids from creating a kingdom throughout the entire ocean. However, something changed six months ago."
Paseton's eyes started to fall.
"The mermaids started acting weird."
'Weird?'
Kim started to think about the novel's information regarding the mermaids.
"They crossed over to the implicit border between our two tribes and started to provoke us."
This was something Kim knew about. The mermaid started to provoke the whales so that they could take control of the ocean. Kim started to feel relieved after hearing information he already knew about. Paseton continued to speak.
"I was able to figure out the reason behind it."
'I'm sure it is because they want to create their kingdom.'
"They are trying to take control of the sea route that connects the Eastern and Western Continents."
"What?"
Both Kim and Cale set up straight and looked toward Paseton before asking in unison.
"Isn't the sea route something for the humans?"
There were a couple of sea routes that connected the Western and Eastern continents. The humans had found these routes, but they were far and dangerous, preventing an official route from being created.
Cale was aware of the implicit agreement between the lifeforms living in the water and the lifeforms living above the water. The lifeforms of the sea would not touch these sea routes and the land lifeforms would meddle in the issues of the sea in exchange. According to Kim's information Choi Han has originally been troubled on whether to involve himself in the battles between the Whale and the mermaids.
But the mermaids were going to break this agreement?
Witira started to speak.
"At first, we thought that the new king of the mermaids was leading the charge to create their kingdom, but the information Paseton brought back was different."
Sigh.
Kim let out a sigh and took a sip of his now lukewarm tea.
'Why is all this information coming at once I never even sought it out?'
The problem was that it was an even bigger issue than all of the other information he had learned up until now. Though not as bad as Cale's former future it was still a bigger issue than at least the crown prince Alberu.
'Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure the White Star came from the Eastern continent based on my recollection, so it makes sense if the mermaids are actually working with Arm.'
'I would have loved to have known this earlier.'
'Hey, you're the one who asked me not to say too many details.'
Tch.
Cale was right he had asked him not to give him too many details as he didn't want to deal with it all at once.
"And there was one more weird thing."
"Hold on."
Kim prevented Witira from continuing by interrupting her.
"Just tell me the Forest of Darkness is involved."
Kim felt like he would have to become involved in something big if he heard anything else. He was starting to feel uncomfortable. Kim could see Witira slightly smiling.
Why did the smile of this beautiful Whale look so scary to Kim?
"Yes. This is regarding that!"
Witira brightly answered while Kim's expression turned darker.
"As we mentioned, the mermaids became stronger about one or two months ago. We were able to figure out the 'ingredient,' that caused this to happen."
Kim closed his eyes. He slowly opened them back and asked the two Whales.
"That ingredient is in the Forest of Darkness?"
"Correct! You realized it right away!"
'What the hell was going on? How could something from land in the Forest of Darkness make a sea lifeform stronger?'
Both twins were shocked.
More importantly, how did the mermaids reach the Forest of Darkness? Kim had an iffy feeling about this.
Paseton's eyes were sparkling as he decisively continued.
"I heard them talking about a swamp in the Forest of Darkness. That was why those mermaids chased me. We need to go to the swamp and determine the ingredient."
Kim did not need to hear anything else.
The Forest of Darkness.
Choi Han's Harris Village.
Kim thought about the ten Wolf children, who were probably outside the door right now, before turning to look at the corner of the room. On and Hong were there there with an odd gap between the two of them. The invisible Raon is probably between them.
-Human, what are you looking at?
'I was thinking about building him a villa.'
-Is it because you think I am the coolest? Fine, I will permit you to keep looking at me.
"It's complicated."
"Excuse me?"
The Whale siblings' pupils grew larger. Kim did not look at them as he started to think.
'What would be the benefit?'
To figure out what the benefits would be, there was something he needed to understand first.

Meanwhile, as the twins were discussing an entity who had been sealed rough an epoch or period ago was starting to rause from his slumber. Unfortunately, he could still not fully awaken his consciousness yet, he had been absorbing the despair he had absorbed from the last world he had been to. The last time his conscience was fully awake was about 900-800 years ago when he had found a human who had been cursed by breaking an oath The God of Death had made with the last Dragon Lord and the original dragon slayer of the human's home according to what he had told him.
This human reminded him strongly of someone he had made a contract with in the past in this very world. Though unlike that human he could sense this one had just reincarnated and would most likely face many more in the future.
What was more amusing is that he had sensed the deep despair steadily growing in this human, if he truly was seeking to follow the same path the ancient White Star walked with the curse currently inflicting him, his despair would only grow.
He would make a delightful snack in the near future.
Daeos was now awakening having sensed two entities far out of his expectations.
'Demigods?'
Although demigods were not uncommon in mythology and legends most of the time these individuals were not truly demigods but rather wanders or turbulators. These are either individuals who had denied becoming a god or had the potential to become one.
Gods are usually unable to enter the mortal realm after becoming gods. Only a very few gods are powerful enough to enter a mortal world in a mortal body. Though even then they would never last extremely long as a mortal body could never withstand the soul of a god.
Though there was no mistake in his senses there were definitely two demigods residing in this world. It was a shame that he couldn't pinpoint a location or direction due to his seal.
It would still take about a year or two until he was fully able to awaken his only hope was that he'd be able to better gauge these two variables once he was fully conscious.
'Ha ha, how interesting it has been so long since something interesting has happened. I hope I'll be able to meet them soon.'
Daeos closes his eyes once again.
As this occurs off on the other side of the sea, in the only empire of the western continent, certain individuals are discussing with a figure with blood-red hair and a white mask suddenly raises his hand to quiet the subordinates. He had sensed the aura of his patron, having briefly awakened.
"Is something the matter, Master?"
"That's strange. He's never awakened since I've made a contract with him. Even though I had made a contract with him, he never answered my calls. What could have awoken him?"
An elegant man holding a fan looks toward the masked man.
"Our Lord has truly awoken?"
"Not completely, only briefly, but I could almost sense his want to meet certain individuals. I'm not sure who and I'm pretty sure he doesn't know either, but he has sensed something that has piqued his interest.."
The white star looked back towards his subordinates. In particular the current imperial prince of the Mogoru Empire, the Lich, the mage, the lion King, the bear, King, the fake Dragon slayer, and the dragon half-blood.
"Now if I hear this correctly someone has interfered with our plans twice now."
"Yes, it seems as though a merchant had ties with the Wolf village and had hired mercenaries to protect him, and during the time of our attack happened to be a period in which they happened to be visiting, and so these mercenaries interfered with our activities in the Wolf village. Apparently, all the children had been rescued and teleported away with the power of a mage with striking red hair, I'm almost certain that it is the first princess Rosalyn of the Breck Kingdom."
"According to Redika, It was Rosalyn and a black-haired swordsman who he estimates to be at least at the sword master level."
"As for the Plaza terror incident, someone had already interfered with our bombs using a magical disturbance device. Seemingly it was the swordsman and Rosalyn, who were deactivating the bonds while the area was under mana disturbance. Though interference was anticipated so Redika made some additional preparations, unfortunately, those preparations proved fruitless due to the interference of two certain red-haired noble young masters."
"Their names are Kim and Cale Henituse according to our research, Kim has only awakened no more than three months ago before leaving for the capital with his twin brother Cale who has a reputation of being trash. Though strangely according to Redika's report, Cale seems to be approaching the sword master level while Kim used an ancient power to block the suicide bomber."
The bear king Sayeru quickly covered up a snort upon hearing one of the twins' name. The White star briefly glared at him before returning his gaze to the individual speaking.
"You mentioned that they had red hair."
"Yes, according to Redika their hair was blood red exactly the same colour as yours, my Lord."
The White star paused and contemplated for a few moments. It had not been the first time that he had faced some setbacks, but for some reason, these particular twins seemed to stand out from any other individual who had interfered in the past. Though for now, he thought it best to not act too hastily and simply continue with their current activities. This amount of interference isn't enough to set back any of their major plans.
"For now let us continue forward with our current plans, the mermaids are still fighting with the Whale tribe and I hope to earn a safe route to send our forces from the Eastern Continent to the Western Continent. Adin I expect you to aid our forces near the Roan Kingdom in supplies as we aid the mermaids against the Whales."
Adin gracefully bowed toward the White Star has eyes always seemed to slightly shake as he was in the White Star's presence. He was the only individual who made Adin feel so shaken.
This was the only person Adin had recognized as above him, and the only one he truly feared. He could only follow the orders that he was given, so as he finished his bow he left the room to return to his usual duties once the White Star had indicated him to.
As Adin left the White Star's gaze returned to the ones still gathered in the room.
"I'll be leaving now to return to the Eastern Continent, we've already begun our efforts to completely take control of the Eastern Continent's underworld so I think it's time to hasten the process a little. I'll need to speak with the illusionist about her plan with Adin toward the Jungle that they plan to enact soon. Bernard, watch over the imperial family and make sure to keep searching for the Condemnation of the Sun. Syrem go to the North to meet up with Sekkah house and check on their preparations. Half-Blood return to the village base. Gersey return to the Endable and monitor that individuals presence and the statues. Sayeru, Dorph, return to your tribe and monitor the preparations for the war. Becrock you'll be joining me. Sayeru we'll meet up once you finish your first task, you'll need to give orders to the Arm members."
As he finished his words he rose from his seat as he walked out the door with his subordinates bowing to him before following behind him with the exception of those who were remaining behind.

After successfully finishing negotiations with the Whale siblings both left leaving the twins alone with the children. Kim then looked up at the ceiling and started to speak.
"Hey, Raon."
"What is it demi-human?"
"Shouldn't you call me Kim instead of 'demi-human'"
Kim watched Raon with curiosity in his eyes as it snorted and avoided answering Kim's question. However, he still said what he was planning on telling Raon.
"Don't you want a house of your own?"
Kim had been thinking about this for a while. If he was going to live with Raon, wouldn't it be great to give this, 'greatest lifeform in the world,' a fitting house?
"A house?"
Raon's wings started to flutter. Normally, dragons had a strong desire for independence. Although this one seemed a bit different, the desire should still be there. Kim casually nodded his head at the Raon's question.
However, Raon's response was weird.
"Are you kicking me out?"
Raon's wings were shaking and the mana in the area was starting to go wild. He seemed to be very angry. Kim immediately started to speak.
"Mm, it's more of a villa."
"...A villa?"
"Yes. Somewhere that you, me, On, Hong, and the Wolves will go visit and have fun."
'Yeah, I seriously doubt you'd ever leave these children not with a background."
Kim was seriously wondering why he had so easily told Cale his past, something he would have usually kept to himself. Though deep down he knew Cale understood him, it was almost an instinctual feeling as soon as Kim had met Cale's face. Now knowing they were supposed to be siblings before the stupid White Star kicked him out of his own body it made sense. Not to mention what they both had to fight through in the past.
Of course, some of that, 'fun,' would involve clearing the monsters of the Forest of Darkness. Raon stopped shaking his wings and comfortably laid down on the couch as he responded.
"...I will pick the location of the villa."
Raon's eyes, which were slowly blinking like he was sleepy, suddenly became sharp as he looked toward Kim.
"In return, this mighty dragon has decided to call you dad from now on, since you are a great and mighty being just like me despite your weak body. I have acknowledged you as my guardian now consider it an honour."
Kim's eyes widened in surprise he had not expected this at all. Although he had already accepted himself as the children's guardian he had never anticipated they would ever call him dad.
What was even more shocking was that the kittens were nodding to Raon's words.
"That's right you are our dad now, nyah."
"I'm happy younger brother agrees."
Cale's face had frozen in shock upon hearing the young dragon's words. That face slowly shifted into a warm smile upon hearing the kitten's words of affirmation. He was genuinely happy for Kim.
"Fine, fine do whatever you want."
"Thanks, Dad!"
All three shouted in unison making Kim immediately turn away from the children. His ears had visibly turned bright red, making Cale chuckle softly while all the children were smiling brightly at each other and Kim.
"Dad, when are we going home?"
"I like fish, but I don't like the sea."
Kim answered the kittens having finally regained his composure.
"Soon."
