Never forget that little piece of fanfiction that you wrote and were really proud of.

Never forget that time you got a 100% on a fandom quiz.

Never forget that Tumblr post you read that made you cry.

Never forget that time you got to meet that band member.

Never forget when you pulled an all-nighter just to make sure you could finish the entire series as soon as possible.

Never forget that Halloween costume you wore in honor of your favorite character.

Never forget that first little piece of merchandise you got for your birthday.

Never forget.

Carry your fandom with you every day.

Even when you are no longer in that fandom, never forget it.

Even when you're old and dreary, never forget.

Remind yourself every day if you have to.

Adopt a cat and name it after your favorite character.

Heck, adopt a kid and name it after your favorite character if that's the only way you won't forget.

Just don't forget.

Never.

Because you weren't just in the fandom.

The fandom was in you.
