It was a cold day in London, like usual in that time of the year, the streets were full with people, Christmas lights were all over the city and the flights on the airport were delayed...again.
Bad weather would always complicate her work no matter what; Chelsea never had luck with the weather when it was time to fly to another city or country. Never.
"Its always the same thing, I must be cursed or something..." Chelsea muttered frustrated to her colleague, who was sitting next to her.
Luke laughed lightly, " Don't need to go that far, it's just a thirty minutes delay. It's normal in this time of the year."
"Normal? I don't even remember catching a plane on time in the last...I don't know...fifteen years," she snapped. It was always the same thing; planes, airports and weather never liked her much.
Luke turned to Chelsea, amazed, " Fifteen years? Come on, you fly like every week how come you never catch a plane on time?"
Chelsea sighed, brushing her brown hair out of her eyes, " I never catch one on time, believe me. I'm cursed."
"Cursed is too much, but I'm starting to think that you have bad luck with planes, maybe they don't like you," Luke joked, he worked with Chelsea for almost two years now and this was the first time he heard something like that.
" Well I don't like them either, they aren't good friends," she also joked. They were waiting to board on the next plane to Manchester; they had an important meeting in the end of the day.
Luke laughed, it was impossible not to, he had never met a person with such bad luck with planes.
"Ok, ok enough is enough, do you have everything ready for this afternoon?" Chelsea asked curious and trying to distract herself from the fact that the plane was once again late.
"Yes, relax. Its just a meeting with Manchester United Marketing department nothing more," he replied while looking at some emails on his iPhone.
"I know, but I want everything to be perfect," she said.
"It is perfect, now relax. God, you weren't nervous when you talked last week with Frank Lampard but you are with a marketing department? Who are you?" Luke asked confused, any normal person would be more nervous with Frank Lampard, heck he was.
Chelsea shrugged, " I know him since I can remember, there is nothing to be nervous about."
Since Chelsea started working at Ferguson Football Management, she knew Lampard and many more British football stars. She had many meetings with them, with coaches and with club directors because she was the one that dealt with what was the best was for their image, and what sponsor contracts they should sign.
" We will talk about that when you have an encounter with Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi or...Lewandowski," she had to be at least nervous about meeting those guys.
Chelsea laughed, " Well at least I'm going to be less nervous then you!"

1 December of 2016, Munich
Bayern Munich had just landed in Munich, the team was returning home from Berlin. They had played against Hertha Berlin on Sunday, the match ended 0-2, Bayern won with two goals from Lewandowski.
"Man, it's good to be home," Xabi Alonso commented as the team got out of the plane.
"Yeah, last night was tiring," Robert, said, last night their match was difficult, they had struggle to win.
"We win, didn't we? Now its time to relax and be with family, tomorrow we thing about the next match," Xabi said, smiling.
"I'm going to relax but alone," Robert said casually.
"Alone? What happen to your girlfriend?" Xabi asked confused.
" I broke up with her, I couldn't stand anymore her cries for attention and all the interviews she wanted to give. I'm famous yes, but I need a person that respects my privacy and that's not Scarlett," Robert explained, taking his iPhone out of fly mode.
"That's hard man, well it was for the better. I can confess now, that half of the guys didn't like Scarlett much," Alonso said before they entered the airport.
Robert smiled, " I know, I could see in all their faces at Mario's party," that was a very awkward party.
"Ok, so next time chose your girl better. I think we are tired of Scarlett and other wanna be Lewandowski's future wife," Xabi mocked.
"I'm tired of Scarlett's too," Robert whispered. He needed a girl in his life that liked to be with him not because he was a footballer with a lot of money but because he was a nice person. That's what he wanted and that's what he was going to find.
They headed out of the airport in Bayern's bus; they were going to Bayern's training camps, were all their cars were parked.
Robert got out of the bus and went to his car, he was opening is Audi when Mario appeared.
"I heard that you broke up with Scarlett," Mario said causally
"It was for the better, I didn't like her that much," Robert said as he put his things on the trunk.
"So no hard feelings, that's good. Did she get mad?" Mario asked curious.
"What do you think? She is going to lost followers on her instagram..." Robert said ironically, models of today just wanted to have likes and followers on her social accounts, and what better way to do that then dating a famous football player.
Mario laughed, "Damn, she cry didn't she?"
"Oh, she didn't just cry. She begged me not to break up with her, it was so bad," Robert said, passing one hand through his black hair.
"I guess she really liked her followers," Mario said amused.
"You bet, she just wanted my fame but well I also just wanted her body. Fair trade," Robert said.
"Yeah, she did have a great body not much of a brain though," Mario, said, lining in the car.
Robert laughed, " Don't let your girlfriend listen to that!"
So this is my new story, hope you like it as much as I'm liking writing it. This first chapter is just an introduction, its for you to get to know the protagonist of this beautiful romance.
As you saw there aren't any mention of Anna Lewandowski, and there is a reason for that, this story is about Robert. Just him. So we can say that this is an alternative world where he and Anna had never met, and he is still unmarried.
Hope you enjoy it!!
