  The man pushes Jake down kicking him in the stomach. "STAY DOWN." The man said going over to his claimed prize now. "Heh, this was a piece of cake." He said as he throws his pokeball at Tyler.The pokeball bounces off Tyler's head. "What is this a joke?" The man said as he turns around heading over to Jake and kicking him in the stomach. "YOU! It was you who caught him wasn't it?" He asked kicking Jake one more time, Jake cried out in pain holding his stomach.
Tylers Pov.

 I hear Jake crying and I begin to open my eyes, I start to change to my human form keeping my Vaporeon ears and tail along with my outfit changing to a blue scaley hoodie and dark blue jeans. "Hey Jerk!" I yell at the old man, as I stumble as I get up falling back down a few times. "What did you call me you little runt." The man said as he turned around walking over to me. "Did i stutter?" I say sarcastically, "It doesn't work like that, after all you can't catch a human." I said as I have finally collected myself. "Human?! you're a shifter?!" he said in disbelief. "Idiot, shifters are half human don't cha know?" I say as if it's common knowledge. Jake tries get up still hurt, The man gets on his Charizard and flies off. "I will be back for you my shifter." He said disappearing in the distance. I run to Jake helping him up all the way, I lean him on my shoulder. "I am sorry you got hurt." I said as I lead him to a nearby rock to sit on. 'It's fine, tho I am curious on why you didn't get caught. I doubt it's as simple as being half human." Jake asked as he sat down. "Well when a pokeball is thrown, it looks at the dna for the split second and will look for a imprint that it is on a caught pokemon. So if it finds the imprint in the pokemon it will then proceed to not catch said pokemon, as a defence mechanism against this us shifters are born with this imprint so that pokeballs think we are caught, at least that's what the elders thought." I say in a confident manner. "Tyler, That is amazing so that means you will always have your freedom." Jake smiles hugging me best he can. "We should head into that house over there and rest for the night." I said pointing to the front left of us, Jake nodded and I help him back up and head to the house. He cries out once in a while, but tries to stay strong. "I am sorry we will be there soon." I say as we get closer having to walk slowly as to not hurt him with fast movement. We walk inside as the door is no longer there, and look around for somewhere to lay down. I see a bed in semi bad condition, but good enough to sleep on. We lay down and close our eyes resting next to each other as night falls upon us. I hear the humming once again this time taking notice it was coming from Jake the whole time, I yawn drifting off to sleep.
