expecting it to be??? a Hot Mess but also kinda cute and super on-brand for gus and bayla?? i hope so. tbh i just wanted an excuse to continue the vday chapter and i thought this would be the perfect way to do that. my kids are so in love and i am so atrociously single :')

this was great and all but listen... i am DONE writing emo speeches for a while. first bayla's MOH speech, now these damn vows... a bitch is tired and needs a minute. writing speeches in stories stresses me OUT. i am super happy with the way their vows came out though. i always knew bayla's were gonna be ridiculous but gus... he's something. he's a Smitten Boy that'd take a bullet for bayla and i was like !!! lol how am i gonna do this!!!! but somehow we survived.

quick storytime just to prove that i AM bayla – when i graduated college, i was valedictorian of my class and had to give a speech and i literally wrote a bunch of gibberish SHIT in my phone notes like 2 days before the ceremony. so the day of when i got up on stage i just strung that shit together and ran with it. all my friends were like WHO IS SHE. THAT WAS SO GOOD. i was like idk i blacked out i don't remember it don't know her. granted i didn't have a massive class or anything, but there were probably like 1k people there if i could guess. so yeah if i got anything out of college it was public speaking. that shit is so easy for me now and i am a SHY BITCH! never thought i'd see the day. it's just.... WRITING what you're going to say that's fucking hard. ya know?

ANYWAY i won't take up too much of your time with this note. we've got a bunch of jampacked chapters coming up to finish this baby off. there IS a light at the end of the tunnel, believe it or not!!! as always, thanks for reading. y'all rock. love ya LOTS.
