~ (Brooke's POV) ~

The next morning I woke up to Callum shaking me... I groaned at him.

"What?" I asked.

Callum looked pale. "Your Dad, Sherlock Holmes he is in the living room!" He stated. "He's alive!"

I rubbed the top of my head. "I know, he showed up last night," I told him.

Callum huffed. "He hasn't got a clue who I am!" He stated. "Not sure if that's good or bad?"

I sat up. "I still can't believe he's alive, so much has changed, we've all been doing so well and now he's back and he can't understand that I've changed!" I explained sadly.

"What were you able to tell him?" He asked. "How did he take it, you know us being together?"

"I didn't tell him anything, I was pissed that Mycroft and Molly Hooper knew he killed himself, we threw some nasty words at each other then Harlee appeared and Sherlock didn't look impressed with Harlee," I explained sadly.

"What?" Callum growled. "What did he say?!"

I placed a hand on his arm. "Cal we're eighteen and twenty years old, he's been gone for three years, he's obviously going to freak out a little," I told him.

Once again I found my self torn between anger and guilt... I had to be the Holmes who was born with a caring heart!

"Why has he come back?" Callum asked.

Good question!

I sighed. "Yeah, I didn't ask that, I kinda got angry and gave him a week to find somewhere else to live," I told him.

"Well he's your Dad and you need to figure this out," Callum told me. "We'll sort this."

I hugged him. "I love you so much," I told him. "Where's Harlee?"

"I was in shock that a man I thought was dead was standing in the middle of the living room!" He explained. "I thought I was in a nightmare!"

"So basically you don't know where he is?" I asked and Callum shook his head.

IDIOT!

I climbed out of bed, quickly got dressed and went down into the living room and saw Dad standing on the sofa making a large map?

"Morning," Dad greeted me.

"Where's Harlee?" I asked

Dad frowned at me. "Rude," He mumbled then pointed to the red arm chair. "I gave it food."

I growled. "It is a boy called Harlee!" I mumbled.

Dad then looked at Callum behind me. "Who's that?" He asked in confusion.

I rolled my eyes. "My best friend and Boyfriend Callum O'Conner," I told him.

"Boyfriend?" Dad asked in shock. "You're too young!"

Callum entered the living room and picked Harlee up who was eating a banana; Okay now I'm confused, does Dad want anything to do with Harlee or is he just putting up with him and forgetting his name like he used to do to Callum?

"Why do you have a boyfriend?" Dad asked. "You don't need one, especially Cameron!"

"CALLUM!" Both Callum and I shouted in annoyance.

Dad frowned a little. "No need to shout," He mumbled then carried on doodling on his map.

"Mycroft's coming over in a minute and I'm going out," Callum told me as he placed Harlee on the floor.

Wait he's going?

"You just got here," I told him. "Where are you going?"

"To buy a suit," He told me as he pulled his jacket on.

"Are you really?" I asked in surprise.

Callum smiled. "I need one for that Christmas party. I'm going to get it custom made," He told me in a posh British accent then he looked at his watch. "Right my strange family, I have to go. I love you." He said then kissed me.

"DADDY!" Harlee shouted in excitement.

"Laterz mini me!" Callum said to Harlee then kissed his head.

"Try not to start a war," I told him. He does like a good argument.

"That's my Dad's job," He joked then left the flat.

I made myself some toast and ended up sharing half of it with Harlee. His little blue eyes make my heart melt; The little buggar!

"BROOKE I'M IN NEED OF YOUR ASSISTANCE," Dad shouted from the living room.

It's weird to hear his voice!

I made my way into the living room and looked at the wall; It was covered in pictures and writing.

"I need you to get your little gang together and do some searching for me. I need you to find some old trouble makers," Dad told me

"Yeah Dad, the Gangs over. Gone," I told him sadly.

He gave me a shocked look. "What, why?" He asked.

"We all grew up and moved on. When you 'died' there was no reason for me to stay in contact with those on the streets. My crew is long gone now, we've all moved on." I explained. "Times have changed."

A lot can happen in three years, people grow up and their lives change for example mine, I had to grow up for Harlee... The others in the crew were the same, they all got jobs and moved on with their lives.

Dad stood in front of me, he was about to say something when I held my hand up to him. "Thanks for feeding Harlee," I thanked him. "I do appreciate you not starving him."

"He came down stairs looking for his 'Daddy'," Dad said as he pulled a face.

I looked at Harlee who was playing with a toy car in the kitchen. "He wasn't any trouble was he?" I asked.

"No he was, a pleasure to talk to, he's a good listener," Dad told me. Is he basically saying he likes Harlee? "He's quiet, not like you when you were his age."

I smiled. "Wow he is usually really loud in a morning," I explained. "He's like a spring chicken every morning he wakes up, I never usually get any peace!"

At this point I was starting to feel bad for telling him he had a week to leave. I missed him so much but he was rude about Harlee last night and to me so I wasn't forgiving him that easily!

"Ah I see you've announced your return," Mycroft's voice echoed through the flat.

Dad and I turned to see Mycroft standing in the door way-

"Mycroft," We both greet coldly.

"I see you're annoyed at me," Mycroft pointed out.

Well done!

"Excellent deduction, would you like a gold star?" I asked. "Harlee, Mycroft's here!"

"My-My!" Harlee shouted and came running in and Mycroft picked Harlee up.

"Why are you here?" I asked him coldly. "Come to talk about what my darling Father has been up to for the last three years?"

Oh I was still as sassy as ever; If anything my witty comments are better and more offensive.

"I came to check on the both of you," Mycroft said with a smile.

"As you can see she didn't kill me," Dad stated.

"It was a tough decision to be honest Mycroft but I had just got the carpet cleaned and you know how hard it is to get blood out," I explained with a shrug.

Dad looked at me then back at Mycroft... Yes Dad I did want to shoot you but I do like this carpet.

I crossed my arms. "Anyway my darling Uncle, you knew about his fake suicide and you didn't tell me." I stated. "You are now second on my hate list and in case you were wondering Dad is at the top!"

Mycroft rolled his eyes. "Oh, now I look like the bad guy." Mycroft walked passed Dad and placed Harlee in John's old chair. "Need I remind you brother mine that it was 'Your' idea not to tell Brooke."

"I wanted to get in contact but you wouldn't let me!" Dad snapped.

Here we go, I definitely didn't miss these bloody fights!

"I said it would put her in danger!" Mycroft raised his voice.

"I wanted to write to her, I could have made a code," Dad shot back.

Mycroft sighed. "What a pointless time consuming -"

"WILL YOU TWO QUIT IT?" I shouted. They both just looked at me.

"Uh-oh," Harlee said; What timing to pipe up!

"Yes Harlee, I'm mad at those pair," I said as I pointed at Mycroft and Dad. "I can't believe how heartless and what idiots you are!"

"Brooke I'm truly sorry for what I've put you through," Mycroft apologised.

Oh he is so not getting off that easily.

"As punishment, you can baby sit Harlee while I'm out food shopping," I told him.

I do actually need to go and I don't really want to leave Harlee here with Dad; I still haven't forgiven him and I honestly don't trust him on his own.

Mycroft huffed. "Fine, but don't be long. I have things to do," He told me.

"Whatever," I mumbled.

I grabbed my bag and purse, kissed Harlee on the head.

"Bey Mummy," He said with a wave.

"Be good," I told him with a smile.

"Who was that aimed at?" Dad asked with a smile.

I rolled my eyes. "If it makes you feel better all of you," I said and walked out the door and hopped into my car.

Food Shopping here I come!

~ (3rd POV) ~

As Brooke went out the front door Mycroft turned his attention to Sherlock. "Did your big reveal not go to plan?" He asked with a smile.

Sherlock growled at his brother of course it didn't go well! "What do you think?" He asked.

"Well what happened?" Mycroft asked.

"You know what happened," Sherlock told him.

Mycroft knew, Mycroft always knew!

Mycroft smiled. "Go on tell me," He pushed on.

The elder Holmes loved to terrorise his little brother.

"She didn't think I was real, and when she did she got angry because I didn't tell her then she got even more mad when I told her some of my homeless network was involved and you then to top it all off Harlee walked in which I couldn't believe!" Sherlock spoke quickly and glanced at Harlee who was looking straight at him.

"What's wrong with Harlee, he's rather intelligent and isn't any trouble at all?" Mycroft asked. In all honesty Brooke and Callum had been great parents; they have raised Harlee brilliantly so far.

The little boy was a joy to have around; even Mycroft couldn't disagree with that!

Sherlock rolled his eyes. "I don't dislike the boy Mycroft," He told his brother. "I just can't believe my daughter has adopted him!"

Mycroft smirked at his brother; Sooner or later Sherlock would have to accept Brooke's decision in becoming a Mother.

----------- (SHORT TIME SKIP) ---------

~ (Brooke's POV) ~

I walked back into the flat a while later and heard a load of deductions being made?
I head into the living room and see Dad wearing a hat, Mycroft looking a little shocked and Harlee smiling up at the par from Dad's arm chair.

"I'm not Lonely Sherlock," Mycroft told him.

Er what did I miss?

"How would you know?" Dad asked.

Mycroft rolled his eyes then looked at him. "Ah Brooke finally, I have to go. Harlee was golden as always," He told me.

"MUMMY!" Harlee shouted and ran at me.

I put the bags down and wrapped my arms around him. "Hello cheeky!" I greeted and kissed his head. "Thanks Mycroft, I'll see you later."

Mycroft quickly walked out the door and left.

"What's with the hat?" I asked.

Dad took the hat off "Clients, I need to return it later," He told me.

That took me back a little. "So the games back on?" I asked.

He smiled. "The game was always on," He told me.

I was about to speak when my phone started ringing. I placed Harlee on the floor and looked at the screen: It was Susan from work?

"Hi Susan," I answered.

"Hi Brooke, I know you've got Harlee this morning but I really need you to come in, please. I need you to sort a few orders, so they are ready for tonight," She told me.

"When do you want me in?" I asked.

"I need you now," She told me. I groaned, really? "I'll pay you double, please I'm desperate!"

I won't be able to take Harlee, he was there last night. He'll be bored all morning! "Fine I'll do it, I'll be there in half an hour," I told her.

"THANK YOU!" She shouted and cut the phone off.

I slipped my phone in my pocket. Who can babysit for me?

"I'll do it," Dad spoke up.

"What?" I asked.

"I'll look after Harlee," Dad told me.

NOT HAPPENING!

"After the stuff you said last night thanks but no thanks I'll get Mrs Hudson to do it," I told him.

Dad pulled out his phone and started typing. "She's gone out shopping with a friend and won't be back till later," He told me and I groaned in frustration. "Molly's coming round later to assist me on some cases, so I won't be looking after him on my own."

I ran my fingers through my hair.

Molly's looked after Harlee before...

"Fine but I mean it, if he's hurt I'll kill you!" I threatened. "I want Molly to text me with a picture of Harlee as soon as she is here, if I don't get a text then I really will kill you!"

Dad rolled his eyes. "I took care of you didn't I?"

"Yeah and look at the result," I mumbled. "Can you put the shopping away, thanks."

I hugged Harlee tightly then tickled his sides; Argh I felt so lucky to have such a good child, he was the best and I don't regret anything!

"I'm sorry I've got to go again but please be good for Sherlock, and please listen to him," I told Harlee.

"Otay," Harlee told me sweetly.

I looked at Dad. "Please don't make me regret doing this," I begged him.

Dad looked at me. "I swear I won't let you down, Molly will be here," He told me.

I placed Harlee on the floor. "See you later, baby," I told him and went out the door. "I LOVE YOU!"

I hope Dad and Molly look after Harlee while I'm out!
