Bright holds his hoof over Sun's mouth, stopping him from gasping. The room fell silent for a couple of minutes. The two colts slowly creep up the door of the basement and tilts the door open slightly. "No ponies in si-.. wait.. GASP, " Sun yelled as he opened the door all the way, revealing his mother lying on the floor impaled by one of the ponies pitchforks. They both gallap to the scene of the crime crying for what they had just laid their innocent eyes upon. But before Sun could scream, his mothers name Bright was quickly snatched behind him. A tall scruffy beige stallion held him by the neck, holding him down and raising his pitch fork to the sky. "For hear me now, Father, I have taken your filth and will get rid of it the way you have taught us!" As he gets ready to plunge the sharp tool into his heart, a loud 'creeeaAK!' Is heard beside him. He had knocked his lantern down and broken it. The flames slowly start to take form against the cold dead floor. The stallion only takes this as a reason to go faster. 'Splurge!!!' Went the pitchfork as it strikes his heart. But the fire had already spread up to the roof, causing the building to collapse and crush both of the ponies, leaving Sun trembling. A short gasp for breath was heard from the fallen lumber on his friends decaying body. "R-... r.. RUN!" the white colt yells, struggling to catch his breath. The realization finally hitting Sun, the tears become too much to bare and he yells, running as fast as he can out of the collapsing barn. As his hooves touch the grass, he looks around and notices the towns ponies have left. Stopping in his tracks, he turns around, and he gasps loudly. Turning into uncontrollable sobbing as the realization that his family.. and home.. have just busted into flames.. right in front of him..
