Y/N POV

"EVIL CONTAINMENT WAVE!"

I let out a yell as a mass of green energy completely enshrouded Nappa who simply looked around confused before asking "What the hell is this?!" I just let out another yell before making a movement with my arms.

A green spiral of energy lanced out of my body and travelled towards the Saiyan warrior who could do nothing to defend himself. He was rendered powerless as the energy vortex picked him up and he became completely trapped.

Krillin yelled "Y/N no! It'll kill you!" I ignored it and instead made a movement with my arms, this caused the vortex to aim upwards, the now-screaming Saiyan still trapped within it. Finally I forced my arm downward, directing the energy vortex back towards the electronic jar on the ground.

As Nappa was being forced into the container I turned my head to the others and yelled "Piccolo quick! Close it!" He understood what I meant and quickly dashed over. As the vortex began to die down, Piccolo quickly shut the lid of the rice cooker, Nappa's screams suddenly fell silent.

I stood there panting for a good few seconds, my hands still outstretched in front of me. A smile appeared on my face before my eyes suddenly widened when my heart stopped beating due to lack of energy. 

I fell onto my backside, my back propped up against the rock that I crashed into earlier. My last words were "Tien, Chiaotzu, I have avenged you. I will see you shortly." After that everything just went dark...

Piccolo POV

Y/N's eyes closed as the vortex of energy finally disappeared. There was no sign of the brutish Saiyan either. It seemed the Evil Containment Wave actually WORKED! But at the cost of Y/N's life in the process.

Krillin exclaimed in shock "Y/N did it, he really took out that Saiyan..." I nodded and said "Indeed. The Evil Containment Wave. I had no idea he knew that technique." I pressed the button on the jar to revert it back to its capsule state and wrapped it in my belt, out of the way.

That's when we heard a slow sarcastic clap behind us. Spinning around we saw Vegeta, the smaller Saiyan slowly approaching us with a grin stretched across his face. He continued to mockingly clap as he approached us.

"Well I must say, that was quite the display." His voice mirrored the tone of his clapping. I had a hunch that if one of you were to defeat Nappa by some miracle, it would be either the Arcosian here or yourself." He said pointing at me.

We all got into combat stances as I confidently said "And we'll take you down just the same!" In truth though, I doubted our chances. It seemed Y/N was the only one to consider the Evil Containment Wave so that was definitely not an option. And from the looks of things, this Saiyan may have been even stronger than the last one.

Vegeta smirked even more this time before saying "Well then, I'd like to see you try. But I think you'd find me much more of a challenge than Nappa." With that he suddenly started focusing his energy.

At first we thought he was powering up however in an instant he vanished. We all got on our guard and looked around. Suddenly I heard the Saiyan's voice asking "Where are you looking?" Suddenly I was struck in the back and sent flying face-first into the ground.

I quickly recovered and spun around just in time. Me, Gohan and Krillin all dashed towards Vegeta and attempted to land a variety of attacks however he just dodged each one with next to no effort whatsoever. Just how strong was this guy?!

He lashed out, punching me in the stomach, punching Krillin in the face and kicking Gohan in the side. All of us fell back down to the ground however we soon recovered once again and swiftly counter attacked by firing blasts. Gohan fired a Masenko, Krillin fired a Kamehameha and I fired an Explosive Demon Wave.

From the looks of things, the three blasts collided in a triangular pattern with Vegeta in the centre of them. He was hit head-on by the blasts. There was a massive explosion and as I smirked, Krillin yelled "We got him!"

Our relief was short lived however when we suddenly heard Vegeta's sickening laughter, as the smoke cleared we found out that he hadn't even been scratched by our combined assault. I flew back to the ground and began speaking.

"Well well, that almost tickled, I should give you that at least. But now it's my turn. I wonder, who should I take out next?" He looked around before suddenly his eyes landed on Gohan. He smirked before suddenly saying "You will do nicely."

He fired a blast towards the boy and I don't really know what caused me to act like this, but I found myself leaping in front of Gohan with my arms outstretched to protect him. As the blast hit me I let out a yell in pain yet I endured it nonetheless.

The blast left severe burns across my body and completely destroyed my gi however, I was able to remain on my feet, much to the surprise of Vegeta. I just continued standing there as steam poured off of my body.

(Of course in the context of this story, he is defending Gohan from Vegeta since Nappa is currently trapped inside the electric rice cooker at this point.)

Gohan looked up at me in shock and asked "P-Piccolo?" I grinned and responded "It's okay kid. No sweat." I chuckled before suddenly feeling weak and collapsing onto my front. I heard Gohan crawl over to me and mutter "No, you can't be hurt Piccolo, we need you."

Despite my weakened state, I was able to gasp out "I'm not gonna make it. It's up to you. You must stop them." Gohan replied "Piccolo! Hold on just a little longer. My dad's coming, he'll save us. Just hold on."

I just chuckled weakly before continuing "It's ironic isn't it? After all my years of training to defeat your father, I go out like this. Trying to save you, his son." Gohan looked like he was about to cry and I felt a tear escape my own eye as well.

I smiled before saying "Gohan, you're the only real friend that I've ever had. I want to thank you. I still remember the first day I brought you here. You were small, helpless. You've changed so much since then. The harder things got, the more determined you became. The more dangers you faced the stronger you grew. I know I was hard on you, but it was for your own good. You're like the son I never had. I'm proud of you. Goodbye my friend." And with that, I passed on into darkness...

Vegeta POV

I smirked at the display before me, the child kneeling over the Namek's dead corpse when I noticed something fall out onto the ground. It was the capsule the Arcosian used earlier, the one containing Nappa.

I approached it and picked it up, the bald human noticed me and yelled "Hey! Let go of that!" I smirked and ignored him. I pushed the button and threw the capsule to the ground. It exploded and revealed the strange jar.

Opening the jar, there was a flash of light which soon materialised, revealing Nappa once again stood there. He cracked his neck and looked around. The Earthling and the child both looked at us in terror, it would seem their Arcosian friend died for nothing as well!

Nappa turned to me and casually asked "So, what did I miss?" I smirked and explained it to him. "Well, both the Arcosian and the Namek are dead. Now we only have the child and the midget to play with." Nappa grinned and this caused us both to start laughing.

Suddenly the child let out a scream and made a gesture with his hands. My eyes widened as his power increased rapidly, first it went over 2000, then to my surprise it went over 3000! My scouter was going crazy.

He fired the bright golden blast towards Nappa who just yelled "Here I come boy!" He then proceeded to slap the blast away, causing it to crash into the nearby mountain, causing a massive explosion!

Nappa clutched his hand and said "Hey, not too bad kid. That made my arm numb!" He then laughed. I just glared disapprovingly. I swear, Nappa's idiocy would end up being his undoing at this rate.

The kid began panting for breath as his power level returned back to normal. He was muttering to the Namek's corpse but I couldn't quite tell what he was saying. Nappa just continued walking towards him grinning.

He dropped to his knees as Nappa stood over him. The midget yelled "Gohan! Run away hurry!" Nappa laughed and said "Nice knowin' ya kid! There'll always be a soft spot at the bottom of my boot for ya!"

He raised his foot and prepared the stamp the brat into the ground. However as he did so, the child was suddenly whisked away by something. At first I was left confused for a moment and so was Nappa. However suddenly my Scouter beeped.

I looked up and there he was! Floating in the air, Kakarot! Nappa commented on a strange cloud that the boy was floating on. "What is that thing? What's going on?!" Kakarot floated down to the ground and glared at us.

Goku POV

As I landed opposite them, I glared at the brute-looking Saiyan. The smaller one floated closer before saying "Welcome Kakarot, nice of you to join us." I remained silent as he smirked before adding "I see, not much for words ay Kakarot? Well you're just in time, we were getting tired of beating on these so-called fighters over and over again. What a joke!"

I ignored his comment and instead just slowly walked over to Piccolo's body. I placed a hand on his neck and felt no pulse. I simply muttered "Piccolo." I heard Gohan saying "He was protecting me, he saved me."

I looked around and noticed Tien's body lying face down on the ground. I said "Tien." Looking around some more, I saw Y/N sitting against one of the nearby rocks, it was apparent that he was also dead but this one shocked me as well. I just said sadly "Y/N."

Finally I noticed a crater nearby with Yamcha's body resting in it, he must have died of an explosion of sorts. I added "Yamcha." That's when the brute Saiyan suddenly spoke up. "HAHA! Oh were these guys friends of yours? Sorry about that! They were fun for a while, but they all met the same fate in the end!"

I turned to glare at him as he grinned. "That's right, I took care of most of them while Vegeta killed the Namek." I was shaking with anger now however he continued "Well except for that little guy, he decided to blow himself up!"

(Nappa is taking credit for killing Y/N because technically Y/N had to sacrifice himself to temporarily trap Nappa.)

I began shaking even more now as rocks began lifting off the ground. It was time for the final battle to begin...

Author's Note: That's it for both this chapter and the Saiyan Saga as a whole! The reason I'm not including any more of the battle is because Y/N won't be present for any of it since he's dead. Now I'm going to be taking a break from this book for a while now in order to prioritise two of my other books so I don't know when the next chapter will be up.
