- "You know, I've always wondered this, but why haven't you gotten a place of your own yet?" I ask, lying down on the bed in Seungcheol's little hideaway.
"My place?" Seungcheol calls out from the tiny bathroom, the door open.
"Yeah," I say, "With all this money, you can literally buy Sebong so why do you live in the dorm and not get your own place?"
Seungcheol walks out of the bathroom, shirtless, and says, "It'll get too lonely living alone. Joshua's nice company anyways. He cooks really well."
"Oh"
"Oh? What's with the dubious reaction?" Seungcheol asks, walking over to me.
"You can live with me next year. I can cook too," I say, staring up at the ceiling until Seungcheol came over and stood on top of me, filling my line of vision.
"You'll cook for me?" He says, raising an eyebrow.
I nod, "Why? You don't want to live with me?"
"Baby doll, I would die to love with you but I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself all the time," Seungcheol said, "Like right now"
"No one's stopping you either," I whisper, watching as Seungcheol's irises turn dark and he leans in again for a hot and hard kiss. He applying so much pressure from his lips that it is almost painful except that he continuously uses his lips to massage mine, turning the pain into pleasure. I can't help but moan lightly in his mouth and Seungcheol flicks aside the blanket covering my body, clad in only underwear. He uses his hands to freely roam my body and I don't stop him either.
We must have stayed there for the longest time, just kissing and sucking and rolling around in the bed before breaking apart.
I sigh against his lips, still physically close and say, "This is the third time we've gone ahead and gotten distracted."
"I didn't hear you complain either times," Seungcheol said and my mind flashed to earlier.
"I'm not complaining," I say, "but we need to seriously stop getting sidetracked."
"Just relax. We have the entire day to ourselves." Seungcheol said, rolling off of me and laying down beside, resting his head on the pillow.
I look up at him, turning to my side and staring at this profile.
"What are you thinking?" He asks me.
"Nothing," I say, "Just, how lucky I am you spotted me from the crowd."
Seungcheol turned his head to look at me and said, "I should be the one saying that."
I reach out with my fingers, tracing his the sides of his face gently.
"Do you," He starts, my fingers slowly going down from his forehead to the arch of his nose to his mouth, "remember the first time we met?"
"At the coffee shop?" I ask.
"No. Not that. I mean last year. On the very first day of university, when we literally walked into each other," Seungcheol said.
My fingers stop tracing his skin automatically and I meet his eyes in mild astonishment. "You remember that?"
"Of course I do," Seungcheol said as if it were already obvious, "you were the first one I technically met in Sebong. Apart from the all the people I already knew. I've always recognized you, especially since we have classes together. We just never talked."
"But why would you remember me? I mean...compared to you, I'm a nobody," I exclaim.
"I don't know. There was just something about you. And you're not a nobody," Seungcheol added.
"That's kind of ironic then, isn't it," I say, "It was like as if we were fated to date each other."
"Speaking of, you're going to that party next weekend, aren't you?" Seungcheol asks.
"The one Jaehyun and Jungkook are throwing? That pre-Halloween thing?" I ask and Seungcheol nod his head, "Yeah. Jaehyun invited me"
"Great. Let's go together then," He says.
"What even is a pre-Halloween party anyways?" I ask.
"It's a preview of the Halloween party," Seungcheol explains, "This one is much smaller but the actual Halloween party is crazy."
"I've heard crazy stories from last years," I say, "It sounds drama filled."
"It's fun," Seungcheol said, "Besides, I'll be there with you the entire time."
"All right," I say, "I'll come." And lean down to peck him.

Which meant that Soyeon and Emily did not received an invitation but Nana did, probably because she is in the same classes as Jaehyun and Jungkook. I'm guessing I'm only receiving the invitation because I am in the class and cause I am Seungcheol's girlfriend.
Because it is an invite exclusive party, the people present were extremely limited and in fact I'm pretty sure I already know everyone here. There must be a maximum of forty people in total, when an actual party has well over a hundred people storming in and out of the house.
I should be more comfortable theoretically but for some reason it only makes me feel more visible and in the spotlight.
"Jia!" Seungcheol calls out loudly amidst the loud music.
I smile at him, nodding to go on. "Can you hold my phone while I use the washroom? I'll be back quickly."
I nod, taking the phone from his hands as he disappears, for the bathroom, leaving me behind. Nana is out there somewhere, socializing with Myunghao. Although she has said earlier he isn't her type, I have a feeling she is starting to warm up to the idea of him.
I take out my phone and at the same moment I hear someone call out my name.
"Jia!"
I look up to see Jaehyun walking my way through the crowd.
"Glad you could make it," He says, smiling.
"Thank you for inviting me," I say, "This is actually nice. I didn't expect so less people."
"Yeah. This party is usually very lowkey. Kind of like a pre-Halloween get together for just our friends." Jaehyun said.
"But this must have been going through for quite a few years. Who did this before you guys came," I ask.
"Jungkook's brother actually. My cousin too," Jaehyun said, "He's going to graduate this year and he's too busy writing his thesis so we took over."
"Oh. You and Jungkook are like twins, you know, non-identical twins," I tell him.
Jaehyun laughs and I chuckle with him. Feeling my phone buzz, I instinctively look down at it, only to see it isn't my phone ringing but it Seungcheol's.
Mari
The caller ID reads.
The blood in my vein freezes momentarily and confusion floods my brain. I don't think I know how to react or how I am even supposed to react. Just reading her name on Seungcheol's caller ID throws me off so much.
"Jia?" I hear Jaehyun distantly calling me and I look up blankly at this face.
"Jia? Is everything okay?" Jaehyun asks and suddenly its as if I'm brought back to earth instantly and the loud music covers my eardrums again.
It takes me a second to realize Jaehyun is expecting an answer from me and I manage to force a smile and say, "Yeah. I'm-I'm good. Just a dizzy spell."
I really do feel dizzy.
Hearing that, Jaehyun holds my forearm, as if he's afraid I'm going to faint on spot and asks, "Do you want to sit down?"
Gently shaking my head, I say, "It's okay. I'm alright now."
Feeling the phone buzz again, I can't help but look at it, knowing that I probably shouldn't.
You have to pick up the phone one day Seungcheol'
You can't ignore me for the rest of your life. You're the only one who hasn't come met with me now. What happened to waiting for me? What happened to forever? Just meet up with me for one coffee to at least talk things through.
Please, just reply me once.
Logically, I know this means Seungcheol isn't meeting his girl behind my back but it still make me furious to know that she has been contacting him. It also makes me furious to know that she's been in touch with him and Seungcheol hasn't ever even thought of mentioning it to me once. Even when knowing how I feel about her.
"Jia"
This time I feel the voice coming from behind of me and I know it is Seungcheol without even having to turn around. I feel his hand on my lower back just a moment later while he eyes Jaehyun's hand on my forearm and asks, "What's wrong."
"I think she's dizzy," Jaehyun answers when I don't.
"Do you want to go home? It is bad?" Seungcheol asks and I shake my head.
Instead I thrust bought phones in his head and say, "I just need a moment. I'll be back soon."
I don't wait or an answer and leave the both of them behind while I climb to the second floor to the bathroom. I've been in this house too many times to know now where the bathrooms are without having to ask around. Feeling a need for some privacy, I open up Jungkook's room, which is normally off limits, which also means I am less likely to run into someone here.
Heading towards the bathroom, I splash some cold water on my face, not caring if it messes up my make up and stare at the mirror, taking a few deep breaths. I shouldn't let this affect me so much but I don't know why just hearing her name feels my head with doubts.
Hearing the door open, I snap my head towards the direction and walk out of the bathroom to see who it is.
Eunsoo.
"Oh...it's you," She rolls her eyes, clearly not excited to see me either.
Normally I would've have ignored her but today I feel a different desperate need for answers. Clear answers.
"Eunsoo,"
She stops from leaving and looks at me as if its a sin to even say her name.
"What does Mari mean to Seungcheol?" I ask boldly.
"What does Mari mean to Seungcheol?" Eunsoo repeats slowly, closing the door to Jungkook's room and folding her arms across her chest.
"I know she is his ex and all but I feel like there is more to the story and I jus-"
I'm cut off when Eunsoo starts to laugh loudly, doubling over in laughter and behaving as if this is the funniest thing she has ever heard. I can't help but feel a bit off an idiot.
"Mari. His ex?" Eunsoo exclaimed.
"She is his ex. Isn't she?" I say, starting to get doubts.
"Oh please. Mari isn't his ex," Eunsoo said.
"She's his fiancée"
