You had a lot of emotions swirling around your mind at this moment. You were going to meet Evelynn at the mini golf place, "Golf n Stuff", which was awesome since you loved hanging out with her, but you had also just learned that Irelia had switched schools to Blade Academy. And from how Evelynn talked to her earlier, you knew that she had been there for a while.

You sat on your bed, thinking to yourself, when you heard a knock on your door. You looked up as it slowly opened and your mom looked in.

Mom: Hey, hon. I thought you had a date today.

Y/N: I do. I...haven't left yet.

Your mom smiled, but noticed the look on your face.

Mom: What's wrong?

You didn't want to tell her that Irelia was back. Not that she knew what it was that happened, but you didn't want her to worry about how it would affect your relationship with Evelynn.

Y/N: Nothing. I'm just....kinda tired. I don't really feel like going out.

Your mom stood there for a moment before she walked in. She sat next to you and put a hand on your shoulder.

Mom: Maybe you can talk to Eve and stay in instead.

You shook your head.

Y/N: It's your day off. I don't want you to spend it with two teens.

Your mom smiled.

Mom: I would love to have you two around. Besides, it would be nice to finally meet her while she's awake.

You chuckled a bit. Maybe you could get Evelynn to come over and hang out instead. Hopefully she wouldn't be upset.
------------
Evelynn: I would love to!

You had ended up calling her just as she was getting done getting ready. She was a bit upset about not going to Mini Golf, but she immediately jumped on board with the idea of going to your place and meeting your mom.

She stood in her room as she got the address to your apartment.

She told you that she would be there soon and hung up. She headed out of her room after she grabbed her bag and went downstairs. However, she was suddenly grabbed and pulled into the kitchen where her entire family was gathered.

Evelynn: Uh...

Kassadin: I bet you think you're real slick, huh?

Evelynn looked at her brothers confused.

Evelynn: What?

Shaco: Don't you play dumb. That's Jayce's job.

Jayce opened his mouth to protest, but stopped and slowly nodded.

Nocturne: You're going to your boyfriend's place? Dressed like that?

He gestured to Evelynn's outfit. She looked down at it. It was a dark blue skirt, dark blue stockings, red shirt that showed nothing, and her glasses.

She raised a brow confused.

Evelynn: What's wrong with my outfit?

Sion: Oh, you look good.

Evelynn smiled a bit.

Evelynn: Thank yo...

Sion: BUT THAT'S THE PROBLEM!

Evelynn jumped.

Nocturne: There's only one thing on a teenage boy's mind at that age. Sex.

Shaco: Straight fucking.

Nocturne: And now you're entering the lion's den.

Evelynn looked at her brothers in disbelief. They were seriously doing this right now?

Evelynn: I'm not going to....he's not that kind of guy. He told me straight up that we wouldn't do anything unless I was comfortable with it.

Darius: Good.

She turned to her parents who looked bored with the happenings going on in their kitchen. Her mom just looked tired. She was also holding a pitcher that was used for the blender which was filled with margarita.

Caitlyn: It's a Friday and I don't have work tomorrow. Me and your father plan on getting drunk, playing some bingo at the senior's home, and watching the ID channel.

Darius: God, you got so much hotter when you said that. I love you so much.

Their children just looked at them horrified.

Caitlyn: In any case, we already approved of Y/N. If they so choose to do the nasty...

Darius: Hon, please don't use that word.

Caitlyn: If they so choose to have sex...

Darius: Better.

Caitlyn: Then all we ask is that they be safe about it. Besides that, have fun. Go wild. I have a book you can use if you need ideas.

Darius: They're great ideas.

Evelynn: That's....gross. But back to my bozo group of brothers, mind your own business.

Shaco: You are our business.

Evelynn: You're acting like you don't go around sleeping with anything that has a pulse. Sion literally sleeps around with everyone.

Sion shrugged.

Sion: What can I say? Getting women became so easy that I had to try for the dudes, too. Turns out, I'm just irresistible to all genders.

Evelynn: What I do with my boyfriend is none of your problems.

Nocturne: I object!

Before he could continue, Evelynn pushed the button to the ice machine which shot out an ice cube. The boys all stopped and looked at it.

Shaco: THE ALMIGHTY ICE CUBE!

Brothers: ALL HAIL!

Evelynn sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose. Her brothers continued their chanting over the piece of ice.

Evelynn: I'm seriously starting to think this family is actually a cult.

She just turned to her parents and smiled.

Evelynn: I'll see you guys when I get home.

Darius: You will not. We will be fast asleep in an alcoholic dream. However, if you do end up staying the night, send your mother a text. My heart can't it.

She just nodded before she left.
------------
You and your mom were talking about how cold it was getting when you heard a knock at the door. You went over and opened it to find Evelynn standing there with a smile.

Evelynn: Hey.

You smiled a bit as well.

Y/N: Hey.

She leaned forward and you gave her a quick kiss before you let her inside. She entered the apartment for the second time since you had started dating and looked around. It was exactly as she remembered it.

A stark contrast to her large house.

But homey none the less.

Mom: Well, there she is.

Evelynn looked up as your mom exited the kitchen area.

Y/N: Yep. Mom, this is Evelynn, my girlfriend. Evelynn, this is my mom, my, uh, mom.

Evelynn smiled as she held out her hand. However, she was instead pulled into a hug.

Mom: It's so nice to finally meet you. I've heard so much about you.

Evelynn hesitated for a moment, but she did hug your mom back. She felt warm. Comforting. And she smelt like cinnamon.

Your mom let her go and looked at her from head to toe.

Mom: You're more beautiful than my son makes you out to be.

Y/N: I-Hey!

Evelynn laughed a bit. Your mom seemed nice.

Mom: Well, I made some cookies but they're still in the oven. Y/N can pull them out when they're done. I'll be in my room if you need anything.

You nodded and your mom waved before she headed towards her room.

Evelynn: It was nice to finally meet you.

Mom: You too, dear.

Your mom dissapered into her room and you let out a sigh. That went well. Thank God.

Evelynn: I like your mom.

Y/N: Yeah, she has that effect on people. So, uh, what do you want to do?

Evelynn gave it some thought.

Evelynn: Do you have any movies?
------------
Evelynn looked around your room as you set your Playstation up to watch a movie. She had never seen your room before, but she was impressed by how clean it was.

You had an empty bottle of water on the floor next to your bed, but that was it.

Eventually her eyes landed in the wall where she found something very familiar.

You had your broken board hanging there. How funny that almost killing you lead to your relationship.

Y/N: Alright. What do you want to watch?

Evelynn turned around to where you were sitting on the ground. She then looked over at your DVD collection. There were a lot of older movies ranging from the Brakefast Club to older westerns like True Grit. However, she did notice something else.

Evelynn: You have a lot of horror.

You looked at the collection and smiled.

Y/N: Yeah, well, they were my dad's. I kinda kept them.

Evelynn looked at the movies for a moment before she turned back to you. She knew he had passed away, but she never did find out how. She nervously rubbed her hand with her thumb before she walked towards you.

You noticed how off she looked.

Y/N: What's up?

Evelynn: Well.....

Should she even ask you? The two of you were dating and you were much closer than before. She wanted to be your support just like you were hers.

Slowly, she sat down next to you where she pushed a strain of her hair behind her ear.

Evelynn: Do you want to talk about it?

Y/N: Talk about it?

Evelynn: Your...your dad.

Oh. You sat there for a moment before you scratched your chin.

Y/N: Are you sure you wanna know?

Evelynn: I....I want to be there for you. And if it's still something that affects you, I would like to know. If you're comfortable with telling me.

You gave it some thought. You had avoided telling her as to not make things weird, but she was asking. Maybe it would be okay?

Evelynn watched as you thought about it. Finally, you turned to her.

Y/N: I....I guess I should.

Evelynn waited as you tried to find where to start.

Y/N: I guess I should start off by saying that my dad....he was awesome. He loved my mom so much it was almost disgusting. He would always surpise her with flowers and gifts. He bought me my first skateboard. He supported everything I did. He's actually the reason I decided to go to Blades.

Evelynn watched as you smiled.

Y/N: He was great.

Your smile slowly faded as you recalled that awful day.

Y/N: But, uh, he was too good. One day he had, uh, he had decided that he would take me out to get some ice cream, down by the beach. My mom was at work so it was just us. It was kinda late, but not too late.

Evelynn waited for you to continue.

Y/N: We were on Main Street when the light turned green. He started to go, but this....this asshole decided that he could make it. Drove straight into the car, sent us rolling.

Evelynn: Oh my god.

She recalled hearing about that a few years back. Car accidents didn't happen too often, so this one was the talk of the town for a few days.

Y/N: He didn't die right away. Instead, he bleed out. And I had to watch.

You could still hear his breathing sometimes. Like a whisper in your mind. Haunting you.

Y/N: He died before the firefighters could get the doors open.

Evelynn sat there in shock. You had to watch your own father die? Was that why you hid away from everyone all these years? Was that why your friends were so protective over you?

Evelynn sat there for a moment as you thought back on what had happened. You then felt something on your hand. You looked down to see it was Evelynn's. You smiled slightly as you turned your hand over so that you could hold hers.

Evelynn: I never knew. I'm so sorry.

Y/N: It was a while back. It sucks, it does, but I'm, uh, better? Is that right?

Evelynn: I know, but I know it still hurts.

You nodded.

Y/N: Yeah. I...I miss him. Everyday. After he died, my mom started taking more shifts. I started doing whatever I could to help.

Evelynn looked at you for a moment.

Evelynn: I think he would be proud of who you've become.

You looked at her, and her eyes grew a bit wide. You had tears in your eyes.

Y/N: I like to think so.

Evelynn didn't even hesitate. She pulled you towards her and held you as you held it in. You promised not to cry anymore. You had to be strong for your mom. For yourself.

So you kept it in.

Slowly you pulled her away.

Y/N: I'm alright. Thanks.

Evelynn wasn't entirely convinced, but she also knew that it was all she would get. She looked back over to the movies and crawled over as you wiped your eye.

Evelynn: I want to watch this one.

You looked over to see her holding up a movie. A horror movie.

Funnily enough, it was one of your dad's favorites.
------------
You and Evelynn watched the movie from your bed where you were both cuddling. Truth was, she didn't really mind the gore or the blood. She kinda liked watching the old effects and the creative kills. You just liked the hockey mask wearing killer.

However, as you watched the movie, Evelynn thought back on what her brothers were talking about before she left. She found herself turned around from the movie as she looked up at you.

It was still amazing to her that the two of you had only known each other for two months. To her, it felt much longer. The way you both could talk about anything and it would seem like the most interesting thing ever. How you took care of her and treated her with respect.

But you felt the same. She had been nothing but wonderful this whole time. She never once made you feel inferior to her because of your background. She got along well with your friends and she showed interest in your hobbies of skating and drawing. She supported you in your surfing.

You happened to look down and notice her stating at you. You grinned.

Y/N: What?

Evelynn didn't say anything. She instead leaned up and kissed you. You returned the gesture before she pulled away. She suddenly moved so that she was now sitting on your thighs. You sat up confused.

Y/N: What's up?

Evelynn: Hey, uh, I don't want to be weird.

Y/N: Well, you're always weird.

Evelynn: I meant right now. I want to say something, but I'm afraid it'll creep you out.

You raised a brow.

Y/N: I mean....it takes a lot to creep me out. I hang out with Kayn.

True.

Evelynn: Well, promise you won't, like, laugh or something?

You nodded and drew an X on your chest with your finger.

Y/N: Promise.

Evelynn nodded and took a deep breath.

Evelynn: I think I love you.

You sat there in silence while Evelynn stared at you with red cheeks and a scared face. You just blinked before you nodded.

Y/N: I.....alright. Uh....

You looked around the room for a moment before you turned back to Evelynn.

Y/N: I mean....that's...cool.

You both looked at each other awkwardly. You just didn't know what to say. Quick! Just say something!

Y/N: I love you to.

Well.....that works, I guess.

Evelynn couldn't take it anymore. She buried her face in your chest and let out a groan.

Evelynn: I made it weird.

Y/N: No.

Evelynn: I totally made it weird.

Y/N: It's fine.

You gently grabbed her shoulders and pushed her up so that you could see her.

Y/N: Hey, look at me.

Evelynn did.

Y/N: You didn't make it weird. And I really do mean it. I...I love you. You know, these last few months have been some of the best in my life.

Evelynn: Really?

You nodded with a smile.

Y/N: Really.

Evelynn: Well, that's good. Cause I mean it, too. I love you. No one has ever made me feel like this before.

Y/N: Yeah. Me neither.

Evelynn sat there for a moment before she got up to her feet.

Evelynn: I want a cookie. I'm gonna, uh, go get one.

You nodded as you got up as well. You paused the movie and decides to join her.

The cookies were done a while ago, but neither of you got one. But now you were in the kitchen eating them to your heart's content. Your mom must've been asleep since she didn't come out.

When you returned to your room to finish the movie, you had caught a glimpse of the time.

Y/N: It's getting late.

Evelynn looked at you then at the time. It was getting late. Nearly 9. But she didn't want to leave right now. Not after she had just told you that she loved you.

She looked over at her phone and bit her lip in thought.

Y/N: If you need to go you can...

Evelynn: Give me a second.

You watched as she walked over to where she had set her phone down to charge. She typed something and sent it to her her mom before she put her phone away. She then turned back to you.

Evelynn: Hey. Come here.

You raised a brow but walked over to her. You stood in front of her and waited for her to say something. However, instead, she grabbed the front of your shirt and pulled you down to kiss you.

While you were surpised, you did end up returning the kiss and even deepened it. However, it didn't stop there. Evelynn pulled you down with her as she allowed herself to fall back onto your bed.

When the need for air separated thr teo of you, you managed to get a good look at her. Her hair was spread out underneath her and her cheeks were red as he caught her breath.

Y/N: Eve...

Evelynn: I want....I want you.

You couldn't believe what she was saying. But, you also didn't want to deny her. And she wanted you to be with her. You had actually been on her mind for a while now. And after seeing Irelia act that way around you, she found herself wanting this even more.

You were hers.

She was yours.

Y/N: Are you sure?

Evelynn: Absolutely.

That was all you needed. You leaned down and kissed her again.
-------------
Evelynn: I didn't know you had a tattoo.

You looked down to where she was making lines on your chest with her finger. She was referring to the tattoo that you had on your chest. It was a small one that had DGR written under it.

The two of you were laying in your bed under the covers. Your clothes were somewhere on the floor in the dark. It was late and it was clear that Evelynn would stay the night with you.

Nothing that you mind. Especially after what the two of you had done.

Evelynn: What does it mean?

Y/N: Dead Gorgeous Roses. It was...stupid. We all got one.

Evelynn: I thought you had to be 18 to get a tattoo.

Y/N: You do. Graves signed the papers for us.

Evelynn: Hm. I wonder if I should get one. Like, a dolphin or something. Maybe a starfish.

You smiled as she ran her finger along the small scars from the tattoo.

Y/N: I could get something arranged.

Evelynn: I'm sure you could. But, we can do that another time.

She moved so that she was nearly ontop of you.

Evelynn: I wanna enjoy this right now.

You just pulled her closer with one arm before you rubbed her arm with your thumb.

Y/N: Yeah. Me too.

You both ended up falling asleep in each other's embrace. It was the most peaceful sleep you've had in a long time.

Meanwhile, Kayn and Akali were officially banned from the community center workout space. They were going to go watch a movie next week.
