I did a thing!! 👆

"Y/n, Grimm what are you doing here?" Marcel asked.

"Were the recorders, master photographer Grimm and his Assistant will take the best pictures of you failing," Grimm smirked.

"I requested them," Mr.Crowely said as he appeared out of nowhere. " They will be taking photos to be recorded for the future. Know any questions?"

Cotton quickly rose her hand as a question came to mind, Crowley quickly pointing to her. " What is a Photo?"

"Alright let me rephrase that, Any important question?" Crowley asked again.

"Wha-," " How rude," The twins growled.

"Oh, and Mr.Vargas the ghost of the mine happily assist you during your camp," Crowley said.

"Good,  know before he head to the site, here is your first task," Vargas pauses," Is to set up your tents."

"Is that it? But I'm tired, we can just use our magic," Ace smiled as he and pulled out his pen.

"STOP RELYING ON YOUR MAGIC!!" Vargas shouted. " We will be confiscating your phone and magical pens. You can only use your knowledge and muscles to pass the missions."

"Do any of you know what any of that stuff he listed?" Ferra asked Marce and the twins.

They simply shook their head, though they were very confused why the other kids were so down when they had to hand over their metal slab, and magical writing tool.

"Without the aid of the magical pen to absorb the dangerous substance, blot will appear on you with every spell you use," Vargas explained. " The blot will affect your mind and body."

"Blot?" Marcel asked.

"Ah yes, you 4 have cursed that pledges you, well blot is like that bust the over effect is so severe and is fixable," Crowley explained simply.

"Well, the Twins are no longer under the thumb of the curse anymore. from what Y/n has explained that even after coming back from "overblot" people are still capable of overblotting again. So this blot never goes away," Ferra stated.

"while in our case, when we reach our "overblot" that is a point of no return. Our mind and body are transformed and taken over by Evanora. Though there are rare cases like the twins who managed to fight back and win back their minds, break free from Evanora's curse forever. So now the twins basically can use all the magic they want without having to worry about Evanora ever again," Marcel explained.

"So lucky," Epel awed.

"Well, That is an even bigger incentive to not use your magic willy nilly then," Vargas said simply. " I expect a lot of effort from all of you, especially you 4. Know lets head to the camp."

The sports clubs and the 4 transfer students quietly followed their teacher into a wide clearing in the forest. Vargas only gave his students  60 minutes to set up a tent that he has brought for his students. So the NRC students got to work and grabbed all the tent materials they needed and spread out in groups all over the field. The four other world students stared at the strange colorful material and hesitantly picked it up and wandered to the farthest edge of the clearing and set up shelter.

Y/n watched as the witches and wizards set up a shelter from dead branches and leaves. Then suddenly Grimm pointed Y/n at the equestrian club group, who decided to set up camp closer to the river. Which would be good for gathering water, but it would rain heavily, their shelter could get flooded. The athletics club decided to camp under trees, which would provide extra protection from the rain. The Magicshift club seemed to just set up dead center in the middle of the clearing.

"Umm, rookie club, where are your tents?" Vargas asked the Twins.

Right here," Silk said pointed to her and her sister's shared shelter. Along with Ferra and Marcel's too.

"Umm I thought I had enough tents for everyone," Vargas sighed as he scratched his head.

"Oh there was, we just didn't know how to set it up," Ferra said as she finished the inside of her shelter.

"Hahaha, alright. I like your style, just roughing it out like the old days. Extra points for you four, since you finished early go help the other clubs," Vargas laughed as he walked off.

(30 Minutes left)

"I think A red tent would look better," Floyd said as he stopped putting up the yellow tent.

"WHAT!? We already have most of it up! Why do you want to undo all this progress?" Jamil asked in frustration.

"It's a rare opportunity, so I want to enjoy my time," Floyd said simply.

"Do you guys need help?" asked two soft voices.

The two boys looked over the tent to see silk and Cotton staring up at them with curious eyes.

"Ugh, Floyd wants to change the whole tent cause of color, but we don't have enough time to change it," Jamil sighed.

"The color is too simple, right little crab?" Floyd Asked.

"Wha- Don't bring me into this," Ace shouted.

"We can help. just give us a second," Cotton said as she crushed up some cherries.

The three boys watched in confusion and curiosity, as Silk wiped the cherry juice onto the yellow tent. The cherry juice seemed to spread over the yellow surface, soon turning the tent completely red.

"There, know Floyd has a red tent and you don't have to undo all your work," Cotton smiled proudly.

"And know your tent smells like cherries,"  Silk added.

"NOO! This will bring the bugs! This is no good!" Jamil screamed as he tried to wipe of the cherry juice paint.

Floyd was too busy laughing at Jamil and reapplied the cherry juice that Jamil wiped off.

"TIME!!" Vargas shouted.

"Silk I don't think we helped," Cotton said as the two slowly backed away from the two boys.

There are some noticeable mistakes here and there... but for the most part, you put up your tents without issue. I'd say all clubs just about passed.

"Hmph. I'd expect nothing less for the horse-riding club, but isn't he being too lenient on the other clubs?" Sebek said with a smirk.

"It would have been faster if you didn't rip two of the tents," Ferra groaned.

"The magift club is doing well for now... I think." Epel said hesitantly.

" Now that your muscles are getting warmed up... I'll go over the challenges of this camp," Vargas said.

________________

"This is the most important thing for you to successfully progress with your challenges... Vargas badges!" Vargas

"When you finish a challenge, go up and talk to the nearest ghost. They will give you one badge once they confirm that you've completed it. There are a total of seven challenges for you to take on over the course of these three days. Clubs that get a Vargas badge for every one of their challenges will pass and receive their reward. But the clubs that fail to collect seven... I'm sure you already know,"  Vargas said as he turned to the foreign students.

"We get to pass PE," They nodded simply.

"You all got that? Makes sense? Now I'll move on to explain the three challenges you have today. First is "life"! You need to put together a safe environment for you to get by for three days. Collect firewood from the woods around the campsite and build a campfire," Vargas started.

"That's one of the basics of camping. Animals won't ever come near a fire, so you'll stay safe," Ruggie commented.

"The second is "food"! Get to know the environment of Mt. Dwarf and make your own food. Catch some fish by the lakeside and cook them to eat," Vargas continued. "Your third challenge is "learning"! You'll be deepening your understanding of topics you've learned in class by putting them into practice. Head into the tunnels of the Dwarfs' Mine and mine for magic gems.

They should be no less than one cubic centimeter and weigh at least three grams. If you bring back gems any smaller than that, it won't count as clearing the challenge! Take a look at the map included in your guidebook. The three areas I just described are listed there. It doesn't matter which one you clear first, or who attempts which. The fishing rods and pickaxes you'll be needing are up here for you to borrow. Come up and grab them as you need them. You have until sunset. Make sure you have all three challenges done and your badges claimed by then. All that's left now is to... get started!!"

_______________

"This really is everyday travel," Marcel smirked. "So it would probably be best to split up. I'll go fishing. So what are thou gonna do?" Marcel asked as he stretched his wings.

"Wel, I don't feel like leaving the campsite, so I'll set the fire," Ferra said as she turned to the twins. " That means you're gonna find the crystal. So go dig in the cave."

"HUH?!" Silk and Cotton gasped. " But Ace and Deuce said monsters are in those caves! And we don't want to get out clothes dirty."

"Oh stop whining, just get a shiny rock and leave," Ferra said as she walked off.

"I wish thou the best of luck," Marcel said as he took to the air.

_________

As the Magic shift club returned to the campsite with their firewood, only to see Ferra and Leona chilling around a campfire. A campfire Ferra set up, it was a simple Dakota Smokeless Fire Pit, two sticks held up a long stick over the hole, a pot dangled from it.

"Leona what are you doing, you're supposed to be helping," Y/n sighed.

"Wow, you made this in a short amount of time?" Epel awed Ferra's skills.

"It's nothing impressive, it's a Dakota Smokeless Fire Pit, its Wind Resistant, Smokeless, and good for cooking," Ferra explained.

"How did you even start the fire?" Grimm asked.

"Simple, I just made this bow to help me turn this stick really fast to create heat," Ferra said as she tossed Epel the bow.

"W-WHa t-thank you, Ferra," Epel stuttered as he almost dropped the bow.

 "Huh? A Fairy!" Ruggie gasped.

" Ruggie, don't these fairies look angry...?" Epel gasped

" Seems that way to me too. Maybe something happened..." Ruggie said slowly.

" Obviously it's 'cause Farra made a fire," Leona growled.

" Huh? So it's my fault!? But why? ...No, we'll figure out the reason later! Right now we have to chase them away!" Ferra growled as her eyes glowed a dangerous pink.
