It's been a couple of days since the mission and they have all gotten closer. More Chase and Y/n. Bree, Y/n and Adam were currently walking with Adam.

"Ooh look what i've done with my locker" Adam said. Bree and Y/n walk and saw Adams locker all decorated with lights. "Here is where i keep my books. Here is where i keep random strands of hair i collected to create a fake mustache"

"Uh adam why..... i just don't understand why you would collect hair to create a fake mustache. You don't know what their hair is like" Y/n said

"What's your point?"

"I- Never mind"

"ok and here is where i stockpile old lunches or as i like to call it my Tum-Tum Yum-Yum" Bree turned away and saw Leo looking at a paper

"Hey Leo what's that"

"My progress report. I can't believe my science teacher says i'm always late to class"

"But you are always late to class" Adam said

"I know that but I don't need it publicized"

"Oooh someone's gettin in trouble" Y/n said

"Shut up what about you"

"Eh my parents know i've given up in school but they'll be surprised I actually have more C's"

"What! Wait" Leo smirked at his best friend "Are you trying to impress a certain someone" Adam and Bree know who he was talking about and laughed at how red she went

"No! I just uh want to show what I can't do" 'ok y/n you need to come up with better lies' Y/n scold herself

"Y/n your trying to hard i'm sure he likes you the way you are"

"Leo i'm not trying to hard I'm just showing what I can do" Y/n said backing she turned around and bumped straight into Chase who was running with his progress report in his hand. She fell and Chase landed on top of her. The other 3 laughed as Chase quickly got up and help her

"Sorry"

"Your fine i should have watched were I was going" Y/n said

"No it was my fault"

"Ok ok love birds stop" Leo said y/n glared at him and they both started to blush. 'Just a small crush it will go away.... right?' Y/n told herself. "Chase why were you running in here for"

"Look at this an A-minus. I knew my Home EC teacher had it out for me. Always criticizing my muffins"

"Ha Ha! I beat you I got a D-plus! Plus because i'm better"

"Adam the plus is- You know what? It's just not even worth it anymore" Bree said

"D is not a good grade but we don't really expect you to get good grade" Y/n hit his arm

"Be nice" Y/n said then walked next to adam to get something out of her locker

"I'm engineered to be the smartest person on the planet and i just got an A-minus. I've been relegated to the huddled unwashed masses of minuses.Like you"

"Chase I know this must be hard for you but I mean look at the bright side seeing you fall flat on your face is really fun for us!" Bree said

"I've got to find a way to reclaim myself"

"Well you could sign up for the student of the semester competition" Y/n groaned when Leo said that

"That's is so boring like people are just trying to make others vote for you so you could win pencils, bumper stickers and a cheesy picture on a wall. We could give you that at home. Just buy pencils and stickers give it to you. Take a picture of yourself and put it on a wall and done" Y/n said

"Y/n this is different it's school"

"And?"

"And you can be recognized here if you win"

"No you won't. Many people won and I don't know a single who they are"

"But you don't normally pay attention to people."

"Yes i do."

"did you see that one person fall on the lunch lady." (I just made something up)

"Ha ha yea that was funny"

"Do you know their name?"

"Why do I need to know their name?"

"Because.... Never mind.....What about the person who was asked out in front of the school?"

"Who?"

"See what I mean"

"Whatever"

"But like y/n said Chase you get a Cheesy picture, pencils, and stickers"

"That cheesy picture will show everyone that my brilliance regina supreme! I am so gonna win!"

"I call your free pencils! No wait i'll take the cheesy picture. They both sound so good!" Adam said

"Ok and on another note. Chase, did you know that Y/n got more C's then F's because she trying to impress-" Leo was cut off my a locker slamming. They look at saw y/n.

"Leo!" She gave him a hard cold glare

"I have 5 second to run dont I" she nodded and started counting fast

"5 4 3 2-" she was cut off by Leo screaming like a girl running away. She smiled and the bionic kids laughed. She open her locker again and grabbed another book.

"Your not going to go after him" Adam asked

"Nah i just do that to scare him.... It work every time" She closed her locker and walked away.

The next day Leo was still scared that y/n was going to do something so he hide behind adam around her. Adam, Bree and Leo saw Chase handing out cards to vote for him.

"Hey" Chase said to his siblings and gave Leo a card that said 'Chase the dream' "What do you think?"

"What do I think or what's appropriate to say to your face?"

"Chase the dream? Please do not give these to anyone I might want to become friends with" Bree said

"I got it all plan out I even linked the latest facial recognition software to the school database to creat a laser automatic attendance system" A kid walked through the doors as the lazer said 'Andrew lamb has been late 3 days in a row' Just them y/n came behind Chase

"Ha that's like calling out Leo on a progress report just more embarrassing cause it in front of the school" Chase jumped cause he didn't see her and Leo screamed like a girl hiding behind Adam drawing attention from kids. "Leo calm down would you. I won't do anything"

"You promise"

"Maybe"

"Maybe?!"

"What? it's not a yes"

"But it's not a no either" Adam started to walk to Chase. Leo went behind Bree staring at y/n who was watching adam talk to Chase.

"Oh dude your never going to win with that. Kids want fun stuff like Jacuzzis in math class and hallways paved with candy. Ooh and I also think biology would be a lot more fun if we could juggle the frogs before we dissected them"

"That's frog abuse" Leo said now standing next to Bree.

"Fine well do it after. But it's gonna be messy"

"Why touch the frog at all?" Y/n asked

"You need to, to pass with an A in that assignment." Chase said

"So all i need to do is poke it and I get an A"

"No that's not what he-" Y/n cut off leo

"Thanks you made school easier. Not that i will actually do it but still." Y/n walked away to class

"Ok is it just me or is she walking away after a conversation a lot more then she did before?" Leo asked. The other 3 nodded.

Later that day y/n was siting with Bree and Leo while Chase was getting people to vote for him and Adam was getting food

"Hey y/n you start walking away a lot more when we finish a conversation then you did before is everything ok?" Leo asked

"Yea" She said sounding unsure

"Y/n you can talk to us" Bree said putting a hand on hers

"Ok fine it's just.... every time i'm around Chase i get the same feeling so did before. I tell myself it's just a little crush and it will go away but i haven't been able to shake it away and I'm scared it's more then a crush and I don't want to use the L word ever since Nathan and i don't want to believe that it's more. That's why I walk away to try to shake the feeling away." Y/n said looking at her lap. That was part of the truth the other part she didn't really want to stay because she was scared but she's been writing a song just for fun and to try it out. (A/n- I don't write songs so i'm just going to put the song and the artist for the song she's talking about. It's not mine and i don't own it)

"Y/n walking away might just increase it and it's ok Chase isn't like Nathan. And if he ever did something like that to you I don't care if he's my brother I will make sure he has no bionic and let him get eating by a shark. But besides the point. If you like him and don't shake it away. It will go away in time if it's not the serious but you can't force a feeling like that away" Bree told her. Leo nodded agree with her. Y/n looked up and smiled that then

"Thank you"

"Of course y/n we are always here"Leo said. Just than Adam sat with the girls with Chase standing in between him and y/n

"Chase your going about this all wrong let me help!"

"What's going on?" Leo asked

"Chase thinks telling people how to eat will make him win the contest. Chase i know how to win you votes" Adam said.

"Fine" Adam got up and left. Y/n had a blank face as to what just happened.

"Hold on.... You put a scanner telling people what and how much to eat?"

"Your still processing that. I'm scare of what adam has in mind women" Leo said. She looked at Leo "Hehe just kidding take your time processing things" Y/n rolled her eye and picked at her food.

Adam then brought in a dj set up and yelled out that it's a dance party. Everyone got up, except for y/n. Y/n took the opportunity and left. She went outside and looked at the sky. She kept thinking about her feeling for Chase she doesn't want it to be 'Love' she just hoped it was a silly crush about to go away. But why would she blush red and get butterflies around him. 'Just a stupid crush that's it' she told herself.

"OOOWWW!!!" Y/n heard Adam yell so she ran to the cafeteria to see adam and Chase

"Adam for the last time that's not a giant lunchbox"

"No. It's part of your new campaign to win student of semester. I - i mean you put a vending machine in the study hall"

"But those aren't even heathy foods"

"Chase, look if someone did this i would vote for them and plus it's only if they want it. It's not making then go back in line to fix their plant of food they want to eat it making they go to the principal office for being late. They probably have a reason for it." Just then 2 kids went to the vending machine

"They love it"

"Of course they do they're getting their meal from a machine and you didn't think you needed my help. I'm totally gonna win this thing for you"

"Whoa whoa whoa you're going to win this for me"

"Yea i just said that. Don't you think your sudden popularity has something to do with my ideas"

"No I think that people are finally realizing my campaign slogan, 'Chase the dream', is about me. I'm the dream. It works on a lot of levels don't hurt yourself"

"Chase." y/n said as a warning

"But my strategy was ten times better"

"You know this thing is all stupid anyways why don't you guys just work together and Adam can get the pencils and sticker and Chase you get the picture" y/n said

"You just can't deal with the fact that i'm finally smarter at something than you are"

"How about we just uh, go for a walk yea. Come on boys" Y/n said but they both ignore her and continue their argument. Y/n was standing their awkwardly

"Oh really? ten times better? what'd you use all your fingers and toes to count that one out?"

"You know what? You always treat me like an idiot but not this time because i'm entering this contest and i'm taking you down"

"You wouldn't"

"Are you not listening I just said that I would" Adam grab his bag and walked away with the bag still holding the chair. Chase looked at y/n

"I told you guys this was stupid. It breaks apart friendship. You just in a fight with your brother Chase." Y/n turned to walk away but Chase grabbed her hand

"Why do you keep walking away after every conversation. You've never done that with us before" Y/n felt her cheeks heat up, her heart was about to explode she felt butterflies 'Stop Stop stop control yourself. Just a crush nothing to be extra about' "Hello? Y/n you ok? You seem red"

"Fine just uh, girl problems." 'Stupid, Idiot, What the hell did you just say' Y/n scold herself again

"Why do you walk away"

"I just. It's complicated, you wouldn't understand" Y/n said getting her hand out of Chase's grip and sat on a chair. Chase looked at the girl, the girl he's learn to like. He got jealous when leo said she got more C's to impress someone. He knows he didn't finish but it was kind of obvious. He went to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"I'm here y/n if you need anything and just so you know you don't have to change to have someone like you. It was obvious what Leo was talking about when he talked about your progress report. I mean I like you the way you are and if they don't, then they aren't worth changing for." Chase left, leaving the girl pink all she keep think about was 'He likes me the way I am?'

The next day Y/n walked in and saw a yellow truck that Adam was driving. She walked to Chase who was on adams said talking to him

"Do you honestly believe that giving kids rides to class is gonna make them vote for you?"

"Who's going to class we're just cruising the halls"

"Hey everyone wouldn't you rather walk to class knowing you're also fitting in 2% of you daily exercise requirement" People started to fill the truck as Adam then drove off. Y/n went to Chase hand put a hand on his shoulder. He placed his hand on top of hers. Y/n felt the same things she was feeling and was about to move her hand and walk to class but she remembered that she just will deal with it and if it's nothing really serious then it will go away.

"Well... My scientific polling which consists of all your crumpled-up business cards in the trashcan shows that Adam is beating you by a comfortable margin" Leo said walking to y/n and Chase.

"If i'm gonna compete with him I have to start thinking like a simpleminded creature one who goes through the day on basic. through the day on basic instinct and random impulse likes dog or a monkey or a sea slug" Leo and Chase both looked at each other

"Or adam" They said at the same time

"Oh you guys Adams idea is good because he think about what others will like not just what's good for you. He thinks school should be more fun. I think so to"

"Are you going to walk away again?" Leo asked. Y/n just looked down.

"No I'm going to help"

"I thought you think this contest was meaningless" Chase said

"I said i'll help do you not want it?" Y/n asked

"I don't think the walls should be painted black if that's your idea y/n" Y/n looked at Leo "Bye!" Leo left quickly. Y/n rolled her eye and started to try to help.

Later that day y/n had gone home for a bit to sing the song she was writing. She was home alone so she took the opportunity.
