Y/n was walking with Leo at school just talking. For some reason y/n felt like something was wrong she could feel it but couldn't quite put a pin on it. She walked over to Adam and Chase who were talking to someone holding a guitar she's never met before.

"Hey peeps what's the deal-io?" Leo asked.

"Hi im Marcus" the kid said sticking out his hand

"I know we have gym together. And study hall. And also chemistry. We're lab partners" Leo said

"Oh I... did not know that. What's your name?" Marcus turned to y/n

"Y/n, y/n L/-" she couldn't finish because she she shook his hand she started her vision power started to become in used. She knows how to control it but for some reason it started on its own. She fell to the floor in pain. It was dark and all she saw was her mom. She let go of his hand. She was on the floor panting.

"Omg are you ok? What happened?" Marcus asked kneeling in front of her.

"Uh f-fine just uh bad headache" Marcus stuck out his hand. Y/n hesitated but took it. He helped her up. Nothing had happened it was like she was in control again. She thought nothing of it and just ignored what happened thinking it's just a glitch with her powers.

"So uh Marcus is your name right?" Y/n asked. He nodded.

"Are you sure your ok? What even happened?" Chase decided to help her.

"Uh it's the heat sometimes it's too much." He walked over to her. "You sure your ok?" He said quietly so she could only hear. Y/n looked like she was staring off into space looking at the lockers "y/n?"

"Huh oh uh yea, yea I'm fine" Chase nodded and gave a little kiss on her nose. She smiled and looked at him.

"You guys are together?" Marcus asked.

"Yea she's my girlfriend" Chase said putting his arm over y/n's shoulder.

"Chase, you must be a lucky man." Marcus said.

"He sure it" y/n said smiling. Marcus looked at her. Y/n kept thinking about the vision but then again she kept thinking nothing of it.

"So chase you ever play guitar?" Marcus asked.

"No but I've always wanted to." Chase said

"Well, im a jammer as Well" Leo said. Since y/n had known him the longest she looked at him with a raise eyebrow. "My rocking is only eclipsed by my rolling."

"Leo your mom said you played the clarinet for three weeks until you swallowed the reed." Chase said.

"I passed it"

"Here, chase you want to give it a go?" Marcus asked.

"Yea chase give it a go... I want to see what you got" Y/n said siting down between Marcus and Adam below them. Marcus handed him his guitar. Chase had is intelligence activity and played it like a natural, sliding on his knees. Y/n cover her mouth to hide her amused face. Marcus, Leo and Adam where all shock.

"What do you know? Beginners luck" Chase said handing back the guitar. Marcus took it and looked at y/n.

"What to give it a go." She looked shock.

"Oh uh no I'm no good" She said shaking her head smiling.

"Me and Chase can show you. Come on" He said he handed her the guitar. He moved down so he was siting next to her. He placed his arm over her shoulders and help guide her fingers to the right cords. Chase watch and jealously definitely hit. Marcus help y/n strum the guitar "and there's your G- cord." Y/n turned her head and looked at him not noticing how close their face was. She then backed up a bit.

"Thank you i might take that offer on the guitar lessons." Y/n said handing him back his guitar. She knew something was up with him but she didn't want to make it seem like she was only him. She looked over and Chase who looked away as soon as then made eye contact. She looked at Leo who was looking at her confused same with Adam. She quickly got up. "I uh I need to go do something. Later boys" she walked up to Chase. "I love you ok get that in your head if you feel jealous right now" Y/n said quietly so he could only hear him. He looked at her and smashed his lips onto hers. She pulled away and smiled

"I love you too" she gave him one last kiss and walked away. Leo ended up following her. She told him about the vision she saw when she shook Marcus's hand.

Later y/n was sitting with Adam, Chase, and Marcus and sat in between Marcus and Chase. Y/n had her legs on Chase's lap like she always did.

"So me and my dad moved around a lot. I was homeschooled for most of my life" Marcus said. He was talking to them about him life.

"No way! So were we!" Adam said "we are so similar! Do you have a third nipple too?" Marcus shook his head looking confused. Y/n bit her bottom lip but also covered her mouth to conceal her laugh. Chase looked at Adam.

"Anyway... That's a pretty sweet guitar Marcus" Chase said.

"Yea and you're a natural, Bro! Guys we should start a band!" Marcus suggested

"Oh that's a great idea" Adam said beating his noddle sticks on the table. "But what would I play? Oh I got it! No, I don't got it"

"I think your gonna be out drummer, Adam. Y/n maybe you can sing unless you want to play an instrument" Marcus said. Y/n nearly chocked on her water.

"Uh no can do. One, I don't sing and Two, I'm not much of the band type." She said Chase looked at her with a 'Really' look "what?" She asked confused.

"You don't sing?" He asked

"I don't"

"Yes you do"

"No I don't"

"Your mom showed us the video."

"What video?" Y/n was clearly confused on what he was talking about. Chase pulled out his phone and played the video of her singing 'Love me or leave me' (Mentioned in smart and smarter) Y/n tried stopping him it he kept moving his phone back. "Chase ! Ok ok ! I can sing!" Chase stopped the video and Marcus was wide eye.

"Your voice is amazing" Marcus said to y/n. She gave a little smile.

"Uh thanks no one really ever heard me"

"Well it's up to you if you want to sing"

"Nah im ok like I said I'm not much of the band type." Just then Leo came and sat down.

"Hey Leo guess what. Marcus and Adam and I are forming a band. Y/n said she didn't want to do it" Chase said

"Well you guys just met. Don't you think it's a little soon?" Leo said/asked

"Little soon for what? Taking the deeply committed stop of jamming together"

"Now if we could just find someplace to practice. I live in a pretty small place, so..." Marcus said

"I know a place. The lab." When Adam said that y/n hit her knee on the table, Chase slammed his hands down, and Leo did a cough. They all turned to Adam. "Oh. L-Labrador retriever park. Yea the dog park. Nice acoustic. Plus they have dogs.
Saved it" Chase looked at y/n and rubbed the knee she hit on the table.

"Well you know Marcus we have a pretty big place. We can all just Jam there"

"Whoa whoa whoa. Hold your horses cowboy"
Leo said. He grabbed Adam and Chase bring they away. Y/n gave an awkward smile to Marcus as Leo talked to them.

"So I didn't know you could sing y/n" Marcus said trying to break the tension.

"Oh uh yea well I don't sing in front of people so..." Marcus just hummed in response they heard Leo telling them how they can't practice at their house since it's privet.

"It's ok guys. We don't have to Jam. Not everyone needs bright spot in their otherwise horrible life." Marcus said. Y/n felt back she felt like that until she met Chase. She didn't want him to go what she went through. She got up and rub his back up and down. He turned to her she just smiled at him.

"Oh look Leo you're making him feel bad. Don't worry Marcus. Well practice at our place later. Come on over" Chase said. Marcus looked at them

"Great. See you guys after school" Marcus then left.

"You guys are making a big mistake. I mean you only been in the real world for a little while. There's still a lot of stuff you don't know" Leo told Adam and Chase

"Look Leo I'm not gonna run my playdates past you. Hello! Genius!" Chase said

"What you have is book smarts. I have street smarts and I've gotta watch what's happening on the street"

"Oh Leo relax! We are not going to be playing in the street. We're going to be playing in the house. This guy" Adam said

"Whatever y/n agrees with me. Right y/n?" Leo asked

"I will admit I'm a bit off about him but I can't say for sure. I'll hang out with you guys to see if there is anything but I can't be sure right now"

Later after school y/n was watching they practice. They sounded amazing. Y/n noticed Leo hiding behind the pants and rolled her eyes. They stopped and y/n stood up and walked next to Chase. She put her chin on his shoulder.

"It's only our first day but you guys sound great. I think you both have real raw talent" Marcus said.

"Oh well if our talent is raw, then we better get cooking!" Adam said hitting a rim shot. (I think that's what it's called.) They just looked at each other. Y/n then turned to Chase.

"He's right your a natural" Y/n said

"Yea? You think so?" Chase said turning to her and holding her by her waist leaning closer to her.

"I know so" She giggled before Chase connected their lips. Marcus just looked around the house and Adam turned to him.

"You'll get used to it. Ok that's enough you guys we don't want to see that" y/n and Chase pulled away. Marcus turned around to see Leo standing right behind him staring at him.

"Leo what are you doing?" Chase asked

"Just asking Marcus a few questions. Where were you born? What's your birthday? Who's the president of Venezuela?"

"I don't know"

"Aha! So he's not from Venezuela" Leo said. Y/n then walked in front of him.

"Leo calm down."

"Ok that's it this practice just became band members only" Chase said.

"Y/n is here" Leo said point to the girl.

"She's an acceptation" Chase said

"Well then I guess I'm in the band" Leo said

"Leo you don't even know how to play an instrument"

"That's where your wrong." Leo tried different instruments but it didn't work until the got a cow bell. He hit it.

"Wow! Im a natural!" Leo said

They all started practicing again. Y/n just watching them on the couch. Just then Donald walked in. He turned off the speaker (I don't think that's what it's called sorry)

"Hey! Hey-hey! You know it's not enough to just play notes you want to get them in the right order" Adam hit another rim shot. There was a knock on the door and Donald opened it. It was Cassandra and Alexander.

"Cassandra? Alexander?"

"We are sorry Donald we just need to talk to y/n like right now" y/n got up fast and walked to them. They walked outside. Her parents looked at her with a stern look.

"What happened?"

"Why didn't you tell us you saw your mom in your vision?" Alexander asked.

"What how- Leo." She scoffed and shook her head.

"Y/n this is serious what happened" Cassandra asked

"Nothing I just saw black and she appeared. My power don't work like that so I just guess it was just a little glitch."

"She right they can't work just like that. Just be careful y/n ok" Alexander said. Y/n nodded

"You guys be careful too... if she really is out... we know what she's capable of so please be careful" She hugged her parents. "I love you two"

"We love you too sweetie" Cassandra said. They gave her a kiss on her head and left. Y/n walked back in and saw Marcus break his guitar and put it in Leo's hand.

"What's wrong with you why would you break my guitar?!" Marcus said as Adam and Chase walked in.

"No- he- not- uh- ohhh." Y/n looked at them shocked. Something was wrong but she need to act like she didn't just see what happened to find out.

"Leo why would you break his guitar?" Chase asked.

"No no no no that's why he wants you to think. He broke it and gave it to me. He's the breaker and I'm the Breakee. Y/n was here y/n please tell me you saw what happened... back me up" Leo looked at y/n hopefully. She looked at Marcus then the guitar then Leo.

"I- I didn't. I'm sorry Leo" Y/n lied. Leo looked at her like he knew she wasn't telling the truth. She just looked down.

"Ok Leo don't look at y/n like that. She didn't see, she didn't see. Look like I would like to believe your. I rewound but you do break things all the time" Chase said holding y/n close to him. Marcus grabbed his guitar and walked away. Y/n tuned and looked at him suspiciously.

"That is not true!" Leo said y/n turned her attention back to Leo. The three stared at him. "Yes it's true, but it's not true this time."

"Leo this reminds me of a story of a boy named 'wolf' who cried a lot and after that his friends never believed him. And then... his grandmother ate him." Adam said.

"Fine. But this goes deeper then the broken guitar." Leo was about to walk away but stopped in front of y/n who was standing on her own fiddling with her fingers. "Thanks for have if my back... best friend. Yea some best friend you are" Y/n looked at him with tears in her eyes

"Leo..." She tried but Leo cut her off

"I don't want to hear it." He them bumped her shoulder and walked away. Y/n was taken back to what he did. Leo was never the one to do that to her. she looked down and continued to play with her fingers refusing for the tears to fall. The boys looked at her. Chase walked over to her and hugged her. She put her chin on his shoulder. She closed her eyes and let the tears fall. After a bit she pulled away.

"I need to go home. Love you" She gave chase a short kiss and left. She went all the way home with sadness. She didn't want to lose her best friend and now she might. She got him and spent the rest of her day looked out at the window in her room.

The next day y/n was planing on meeting them at the school. She got there early and walked around. She went upstairs and walked around. She went and put up a poster Bree asked her too. As she was walking the night shut off. She didn't hear anyone from any where.

"Hello?" She asked she didn't hear anything. She used her night vision. Her eyes turned green (if your eyes are already green then a lighter green) and she looked around. She kept walking wanting to find her light switch. She heard something behind her and turned around. Someone was standing there with their back faces to her.

"Excuse me. Ma'am you can't be here right now. The father daughter career day is down stairs" The person didn't say anything. Y/n started getting scared. "Ma'am?"

"Oh sweetie you don't remember me?" She heard dark scary voice she hasn't heard in a long time. She started panicking.

"Mom?" Het voice cracked a bit. The lady nodded. "No that's impossible your in prison!" Y/n backed up a bit.

"My name is Quinn, my birthday September 18th, your my daughter y/n l/n, you have powers, I used you as my experiment. And you did this to me!" Her nails started to grow long and sharp to the point where scratch in the wrong place you can die.

She turned around. All y/n saw at first where her yellow eyes and her body but everything was pitched back it was like her night vision wasn't working.

Her eyes were yellow her black long hair was covering some of her face. She had gotten a scratch across her whole face. Y/n then remember she injected her mom with animal gene blinded by her hate for her. She just doesn't know what animal.
