Blair POV.
•••

"Whose excited for dinner, I'm excited for dinner." Emma sings while coming back into her room after a shower.

"And why are you so excited?" I ask knowing the obvious answer.

"I could lie and say because I get to see my whole family. But I wouldn't even believe that. I'm just excited for what? Like season three of Blair's drama filled love life?"

"How is this the third season?"

"First season Grayson, obviously. Second season Jake. And this is like the third season thats starting from last season's cliffhanger."

I raise an eyebrow at her. "You're so weird."

   "And you're not?"

We bicker some more, and sadly get dressed to go. "We could leave, I can buy us tickets to anywhere we want with my dad's card." I suggest.

I ended up telling my dad the truth. Told him that I was I invited to go to Emma's for Thanksgiving. All I got was a text back saying, we will be gone so it's best if you go. I only cried for like, an hour about it.

I don't know why I didn't expect this. Why I'd expect him to care, want me there. I tried calling Jake to come over, to get my mind off of it. But of course he didn't answer, since he's still ignoring me.

"As tempting as that sounds, I think Thanksgiving dinner will be a lot more entertaining."

   "I hate you"

"Sure you do, now put on your lipstick and let's go."

And so we did, and now I'm standing at the front door that's all too similar. I could fake an illness, say my dad magically changed his mind and wanted me to come. But they would definitely see through my bullshit.

Actually, maybe not. I am a pretty good liar.

Please don't answer, please don't answer. Yes, I'm currently wishing that someone doesn't hear the doorbell and that we can leave. Maybe even go to the diner, I bet they have great pumpkin pie.

"Drew!" Lisa says in a cheerful tone. Welp, kill me now. There's no turning back.

Drew greets his two family members with hellos and hugs before turning to me. "Blair," he smiled. "Looking beautiful as always."

My cheeks grow red. Like they always do when one of the Heart boys compliment me. Andrew, the sweetest boy out of all of them.

"Oh great, do I seriously have to worry about him too?" My heart stops at that voice. Past Andrew's head, was the youngest of the triplets.

Leaning against the wall, with his rolled up dress shirt and perfect messy hair. Don't forget his famous boyish grin. I swear, he gets more attractive every time I see him.

"Worry about me why?" Drew asks looking back at him. Jake sends me a wink before sighing.

"Nothing." He stands up straight before walking into the kitchen.

Ok, so I'm confused. Are we good? Fine? Ok? Can he at least tell me instead of shooting me a wink and walking away?

"Blair, forgive me for my strange brother." Drew smiles apologetically. "Do you know Jake?" Once again, I'm interrupted by a Heart brother.

"Oh, she knows him." Grayson laughs bitterly walking down the stairs into the kitchen.

No hello, how are you, sorry for calling you a slut and fucking with your head?

Drew looks at me again with a confused expression. Oh, Andrew. If only you knew. But there was no way in hell I was about to tell him.

So instead, I shrug and play clueless. I don't miss Emma's snickering in the back, though.

Andrew leads us into the kitchen to see the rest of the family. I meet their uncle, aunt, and cousin. One I met at Christmas, Derek.

I sigh in relief when I see Blake. Of course he's outside by himself playing with the dog. I excuse myself after making my rounds of hellos and walk out.

"Blake" I greet. Blake turns around right away.

"What's up my bff?" He smiles at me, and I smile back. He is an interesting boy sometimes.

Before I can answer him, a voice starts to talk. "Blair." I guess, I missed a person. It would be weird of Blake to be out here alone.

"Well, I have to go do..." Blake looks at me and then at Jake. "Who am I kidding? I have nothing to do, but I'm just going to go inside and you two stay out here. Talk, yell at each other, kiss, I don't care."

He hurries inside. The second he closes the door I turn. "You've been ignoring me dipshit."

A smirk spreads throughout his face. "Blair, I've missed you talking dirty to me."

I roll my eyes, and cross my arms. "You've been freaking ignoring me."

He walks towards me, his smirk turning into his boyish smile. "And I've missed you getting mad at me."

"Then why have you been ignoring me?" If I have to bring it up one more time, I swear I will shoot his foot.

   "You needed time to think."

I laugh at that. Is he serious? "And you get to decide that?"

"No, but I also needed to." My heart drops at that. Think about what? Did he not want to be with me anymore?

"And what did you think about?" I ask nervously.

"About what you did to me." He tilts his head back and combs a hand through his hair.

   "And what did you conclude?"

"That you could break my heart, and I'd let you. God, do you know that you're a pain in my ass?"

I have a bitter sweet feeling. I'm relieved that he still feels the same way about me. But I don't want to break his heart.

"So, you don't want to end things with me?" I ask for confirmation.

"End things with you?" His eyes widen in shock. "You thought I wanted to end things with you?"

I nod, "You we're blowing me off all week. I just thought, I don't know. Maybe you just didn't like me or want to deal with me anymore."

He sighs and touches the side of my face. "You still make me feel some type of way, Blair."

Relief fills my stomach, head, heart, every inch of my body. Without thinking, I break into a smile. His smile grows, before wavering slightly. "Do I?" He asks. "Do I still make you..."

"You still make me feel some type of way." I smile.

His face breaks into a huge grin. "God Blair, you know what?"

"I'm a pain in your ass?" I joke.

"No, I think I'm in love with you."
