Eddy woke up earlier than Brett to, of course, prepare for Brett's birthday!

Eddy had 2 surprises in mind ( which I will not reveal right now so that you guys can guess what would eddy prepare :o )

After Eddy was done preparing everything, he tried to wake up Brett.

He started humming the birthday song ever so softly that only Brett could hear it. Brett slowly woke up and said, "Woah how did you know it was my birthday?!"

"I have my ways, come on I have a surprise for you!"

Your choice if you wanna change first or-

"Sure! Will dress up just for you" Brett said energetically

"You- hahaha oki fine" eddy laughed back

Once Brett was done changing, eddy guided Brett to go outside.

Once he opened the door, he couldn't believe his eyes. His mother was there waving to him.

He started crying tears of happiness, " Eddy, is this real?!! I'm not dreaming? Hallucinating?"

"Shhh Brett, yes it's real, I picked her up from the police station earlier. I couldn't wait for one more week of investigation, so I helped the private investigator find your mom. Apparently, she's alive! She survived because of the book all of us read "how child abuse is stopped-"

"Page 564!" Brett, Brett's mom, and Eddy said all together.

"Thanks, Eddy!" Brett said, then hurriedly ran to his mother and hugged her

"I missed you so much mama, don't ever leave me again please mama"

"I'll never leave you my precious Brett, I will be here with you, and Eddy would be too :) Speaking of Eddy, I see you have found your soulmate, lover perhaps? "

"Ma! So embarrassing..." Brett said as he was blushing.

"Hahaha but it's true! I heard that Eddy has another surprise for you?"

Brett turned to look at Eddy.

"Hehehe yup, well I know Brett likes flowers a lot so, I bought some land, just beside this house, so that we can all plant together. Wanna come?"

"Of course," Brett and his mother said, flowers were always their favorite.

Eddy reached for a red rose seedling that he bought from the gardening store. He then held it together with Brett as they lowered it to the soil.

Brett suddenly got flashbacks to when he first came here, the flowers that surrounded Eddy's village, the flowers that were right in front of Eddy's house, and lastly the vast flower field/garden they were in yesterday.

Brett smiled and thought to himself "All my wishes came true, and it's all because of Eddy Chen"

Brett and eddy stood back up and reached for a fast kiss.

Brett's mother smiled "Oooo look at these 2 " She finished the planting job as she watered the seedling, "teamwork!" She exclaimed.

They all reached in for a group hug and everyone was happy, no more fear, no more sadness, no more suffering. It was just them, and the warmth of joy.
