Eddy knew that Brett didn't have anywhere to go, so he offered to help Brett again. The doctor signed the discharge papers first, then Eddy, then lastly Brett. Just like that, they were off to go home.

Eddy walked with Brett out of the hospital with his arm supporting Brett's back because he was still a little weak from just getting better. Eddy called for a cab a few minutes ago using his phone, so when they got out there was already a cab waiting for them. Eddy opened the door for Brett and made sure he was okay "Make sure you don't bump your head here", Eddy said as he put his hand on the inner part of the door that Brett would have hit by accident if Eddy had not told him. Brett said thank you to Eddy, at this point he does not know how many times he said "thank you" to Eddy.

After they entered the car, Eddy told the cab driver his address. The cab driver said, "Woah you live quite far from here, it is also quite traffic today, so please expect this ride to be a little long". "Sure, no worries!" Eddy replied.
