Rin and Shiemi both convinced me to wait until the next day to search for (Y/N) because it was getting late, so I did.
I woke up as early as possible and had tracked her mother's phone within an hour.
Rin was awake by then and told me that we needed a solid plan before getting (Y/N) back.
"Since when do you think?" I asked bitterly.
"Do you want all of us to die?" Rin snapped.
I sighed, staring down at her mother's location with worry. She was out in the middle of a forest, literally. The forest was luckily nearby, but the middle was about a six mile hike.
Once Shiemi woke up, we discussed what we would do.
"Yukio, do you still have your pistols?" Rin asked. I nodded. "Good. Bring that and plenty of ammo. It's a long walk, so we'll probably need a lot of energy. Shiemi, bring snacks and water. When we get to the house, shoot without hesitation at anyone who gets in our way."
I paused before nodding and Shiemi nodded as well.
"We should head out close to nighttime. It'll be easier to sneak up on them," Rin thought out loud.
I shook my head. "It would be too hard to see. We'd be walking in the forest, no doubt making a lot of noise. They would hear us coming and be able to ambush us."
"That's true," Shiemi agreed. "We could send a scout to go first, though. Someone small and quick."
"Maybe Konekomaru?" I suggested.
"Would he be willing to?" Rin wondered.
"Well, we could ask."
...
"So let me get this straight," Konekomaru said, rubbing his forehead in thought. "You want me to put my life on the line by going first to see if anyone is awake for soneone I don't know well?"
"I know it sounds ridiculous," I said. "But it's important. She could die, and you have the chance to prevent it."
He sighed. "And why hasn't anyone told the police yet?"
At that moment, I felt so stupid that I facepalmed. "God, you're right."
"Exactly. Now call them to do it, and go with if you want."
I nodded, calling the police. I told them everything and asked them to take Rin and me to the place.
It took some convincing, but they finally agreed to take us with. I smiled and we went back to the dorm to keep ourselves busy until the police came.
...
When the sirens were right outaide, I called Rin down. Shiemi gave him a hug and a kiss, telling him to be safe and that she would worry until he got home.
We got into the police car and I handed Officer Kang (Y/N)'s phone, her mother's location pulled up.
She took the phone and plugged the coords into the GPS that was on her dashboard, then drove away, the other cars chasing after us.
We're coming, (Y/N), I thought. You're going to be okay.
