Erza's POV
When I was told that Jellal would be staying with me, I wanted to punch something.
And so I did.
Siegrain just happened to be walking by, and I threw my fist forward, smacking him in the face. He fell back in pain.
"Ow. What was that for?"
"Sorry. I thought you were Jellal."
I stormed off, satisfied. I heard Jellal laughing behind me and Siegrain yelling. Gosh, those two are annoying.
"So, you have to deal with the idiot," a cold voice whispered behind me.
"What do you want, Mystogan?"
"Just to clarify something."
"And what might that be?"
"Jellal isn't a bad guy. He may seem like a brat, but he's honestly pretty cool. And he's smart and actually studies for every test."
"Why are you telling me this?"
"You know why."
He ruffled my hair before swaying away. Mystogan wanted to give me faith that Jellal wasn't a bad person. Or he wanted to try and convince me not to kill him.

For now, both reasons may work.

I sat at my desk, my head in my hands as I looked at my homework. Well, it wasn't technically homework. More like a big drivers ed book.
As I sat there reading, I felt a presence in my room. I swiveled around, but no one was there. Weird.
Then came the chill on my neck. I shrieked and lifted a fist, slamming my hand into someone's jaw.
As I turned around, book in hand, ready to beat someone senseless, I saw a familiar image. Siegrain clenching his jaw, showing I was the one who hurt him, Jellal hold a tub of ice cream, the thing that they pressed against my neck, and Mystogan, propping himself against the wall, not really caring about what was going on.
"Ow!" Siegrain yelled.
I smirked evilly. He glared at me and I put on a fake 'oops!' face.
"Sorry. I thought you were Jellal."
Mystogan looked up and busted out laughing. Jellal joined in, his white teeth shining as he grinned. Siegrain flopped onto the floor, pouting.
I suddenly felt two hands on either of my shoulders. It was Jellal and Mystogan, grinning widely. I looked up at them in confusion.
"Erza, this is why you're the coolest girl at the school!"
They waved goodbye and dragged Siegrain off the floor. I knew they were going to Jellal's room.
Did they really mean that? I always thought that those boys hated me, always getting on my nerves and having me have to break it up. But, we had known each other since we were four. It made sense that they would tease me just to be friendly in their own way.
I walked over to the staircase and looked down. The triplets weren't in Jellal's room, but were chasing my brothers Simon and Sho around the house. I watched as my other brother, Wally, watched them in annoyance as he attempted to watch Poker on TV. They were all younger then I was, Simon being 12, Sho being 8, and Wally being 14. They didn't have to worry about the family business or dealing with annoying triplets. They were free kids, and lucky at that.
"Whatcha thinkin' 'bout, Rosie?" I heard a familiar voice whisper.
I looked down and saw my four year old sister Millianna watching me. She had her pet cat Rosie in her arms as she stared up at me. The cat was black with white stripes all over her, and had earned her name because of Millianna calling me Rosie. Apparently Erza and Rosie sound the same to her.
"Just thinking. Are you gonna go join the rug rats over there?"
"Nope! Rosie and I have a tea party. I would invite you, but it's for reserved guests only."
"Oh that's okay! I'll come to the next one, okay?"
"Great!"
She skipped off, Rosie lying perfectly still. I sometimes wondered how that cat could stand being jostled around. But she did, so it wasn't really my concern.
With one last look at the boys, I headed back to my room. However, I found a surprise waiting for me.
"Jellal, how'd you get from down there to up here in a matter of milliseconds!" I demanded, not really asking him a question.
He was propped up on my bed. A bag of chips lay next to an open coca-cola bottle, and he had a book in his hands. He closed it abruptly and I saw it was my Drivers Ed book.
"I have my ways. Just wanted to let you know that this Driver thing, it's not that hard. I can take you out driving later if you want. After all, I'm sure you don't have that many adults to help you practice besides your servants."
"You're not an adult."
"But do the cops know that? No. For all they know, I have dwarfism."
"Jellal, that's lying!"
"So?"
"Hey you two!" I heard Siegrain yell.
"We're gonna head home!" Mystogan followed.
"See you tomorrow, bros!"
I heard the front door open and then close. They were gone. Now, I only had to deal with one.
And it was the most annoying one of all, too.
"So, what are we gonna do tonight?" He queered.
"I don't know. I'm studying, then I have to go out for training at the dojo."
"That sounds...boring."
"Shush it, Jellal. How about you make yourself useful and study for once."
"I study all the time."
"Then why do you always fail?"
"Because I'm not very good at studying."
"Your brothers at least pass. Pick up your slack, get out of my room, and actually try."
He strutted away, grumbling under his breath about how rude I was. Good. I hope I'm rude.
With that final thought, I left the house and jogged towards the dojo.
