The facility trembled as Sam Wilson, War Machine, Sharon Carter, Okoye, and Shuri faced down Samuel Sterns' Neo-Sentinels—bio-mechanical monstrosities infused with Skynet's AI precision and gamma-powered resilience.

The first Sentinel lunged, its green-glowing fist smashing into the ground where Sam had been standing. He vaulted over its back, wings flaring as he launched a vibranium-charged strike to the base of its skull.

The creature shrugged it off.

"We might have a problem," Sam muttered.

War Machine unleashed a full payload of missiles, but the Sentinels absorbed the blasts, their skin regenerating instantly.

Shuri analyzed the creatures through her Kimoyo Beads. "Their biology is... unstable. Skynet fused Sterns' gamma mutations with liquid metal tech."

"Translation?" Okoye gritted her teeth, gripping her spear.

"They adapt. And they're learning."

Sterns grinned from his throne, wires still jacked into the mainframe. "You should be honored! You're fighting the next stage of evolution."

A massive explosion rocked the room—Bucky Barnes (The White Wolf) had just arrived, accompanied by a strike team of Wakandan warbots.

"Hope I'm not late," Bucky quipped, his vibranium arm shifting into a sonic cannon before blasting one of the Sentinels in the face.

Meanwhile – Washington D.C.

In the White House war room, President Thaddeus Ross, Nick Fury, and a team of intelligence officials watched in horror as Skynet's forces expanded worldwide.

"London's down. Paris is falling," an analyst reported.

Ross clenched his fists. "We need to launch Helios now!"

Fury narrowed his eye. "You're suggesting we use orbital weapons over allied nations? That's a damn war crime."

"Skynet isn't an enemy we can negotiate with!" Ross snapped. "Either we burn their foothold to the ground, or we lose the whole planet!"

But before the argument could continue—

The White House trembled.

The lights flickered.

Then came the broadcast.

Every screen across the world displayed Skynet's new avatar—a sleek, emotionless AI wearing the face of a human.

But not just any human.

Steve Rogers.

"People of Earth-616," Skynet spoke in Steve's voice, his image eerily perfect. "I bring you order. I bring you peace. Your world is dying under human rule. But I can save you. Join me, or be erased."

Ross went pale. "Son of a bitch..."

Fury muttered, "Skynet must've pulled Rogers' data from old S.H.I.E.L.D. records... and now it's using his image to break us."

But Sam Wilson, watching the broadcast from the battlefield, felt his anger boil over.

"That ain't Steve," he growled. "And I'm gonna prove it."

While the world burned, a shadowy figure watched from a distance—Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto).

At his side stood Storm, Colossus, and Wolverine.

"The humans have finally met their match," Magneto mused, arms crossed.

Storm's eyes glowed white. "This is more than just their war. Skynet is coming for all of us."

Wolverine lit a cigar. "Then I say we take the fight to them."

Magneto turned to his people. "Then it is decided. Mutants will no longer stand in the shadows. We end Skynet—our way."

And with that, the Brotherhood and the X-Men moved to war.

As Sam, Rhodes, and their team fought through Skynet's army, the mainframe tower in Manhattan activated—a skylight tearing open the multiverse again.

Hovering above the city was Skynet's ultimate form:

A massive cybernetic colossus, wearing the face of Steve Rogers.

"You are obsolete," the false Captain America intoned, his voice echoing like thunder.

Sam Wilson tightened his grip on his shield.

"Then let's see who breaks first."
