Captain America: Brave New World x Terminator – "Skynet Imperium"

A Multi-Chapter Crossover Story

Chapter 45: The Red Titan Rises

White House – The Birth of the Monster

The world was falling apart.

Inside the fortified depths of the White House bunker, President Thaddeus Ross stood before a group of top military officials, watching live satellite footage of New York's collapse under Skynet's invasion.

The Hunter-Killers controlled the skies. Endoskeleton armies patrolled the streets. Gamma-infused Terminators—products of Samuel Sterns' twisted experiments—had begun their assault on strategic locations worldwide.

Every weapon the United States had—nuclear, biochemical, even Stark's stolen technology—was failing.

"Sir," a four-star general stammered, sweat dripping down his brow, "New York is lost."

Ross clenched his fists.

"Not yet."

His eyes fell to the classified container in front of him.

The Red Hulk Serum.

A compound he had personally authorized years ago, in secret, to ensure the United States had its own superhuman deterrent.

A serum that would transform a man into something even worse than the Hulk.

For years, Ross had feared what Bruce Banner represented.

For years, he had vowed never to become like him.

But now?

Now there was no choice.

He grabbed the injector gun, pressed it against his arm—

And pulled the trigger.

New York – The War Rages On

Sam Wilson—Captain America—ducked under a plasma bolt, then slammed his shield into the face of a T-800, sending it flying into the rubble of a fallen skyscraper.

The city was a war zone.

Wolverine was locked in combat with an evolving T-1000, his claws ripping through liquid metal that reformed faster than he could cut it.

Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch held the Sanctum together, fending off Skynet's multiversal corruption as machines began rewriting reality itself.

Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, and Moon Knight were trapped in Siberia, facing off against gamma-mutated Terminators.

And above them, the rift in the sky was growing.

Then—

The ground shook violently.

Everyone froze.

A massive BOOM echoed through the battlefield, as if something had just detonated inside the Earth itself.

A new heat signature erupted on every scanner.

Something was coming.

And then they saw him.

The Arrival of the Red Hulk

A shockwave of pure energy erupted over the ruins of Times Square as a colossal, burning figure crashed down from the sky, landing with the force of a meteor.

The air shimmered from the heat rolling off his body. The pavement beneath him melted into molten slag.

And standing in the center of the devastation—

Was Red Hulk.

Eyes burning yellow, muscles bulging, skin a deep crimson, and a snarl that sent a shiver down even Wolverine's spine.

Sam barely had time to react before the beast leaped forward, grabbing a T-800 by the head and crushing it like a soda can.

Then, with a single punch, he sent a T-1000 flying through three buildings.

The machines did not hesitate.

A Hunter-Killer drone locked onto him, firing a barrage of plasma shots—

Only for Red Hulk to snarl and punch the air itself.

The resulting shockwave sent the drone spiraling out of the sky, crashing into the Hudson River.

A group of gamma-Terminators—Skynet's latest abominations—charged toward him.

One of them stood 10 feet tall, its Hulk-like body infused with endoskeleton plating.

It swung a massive, metal fist.

Ross caught it—stopped it mid-motion.

Then he ripped the machine in half.

Sam's Reaction

Sam landed hard on a ruined street, eyes wide as he watched the destruction unfold.

"What the hell—"

Yelena landed beside him, staring at the rampaging Red Hulk.

"Okay," she said breathlessly. "I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that's not Banner."

Sam clenched his fists.

"No. It's worse."

They had seen what Red Hulk could do before.

But this?

Ross was fighting like a man possessed.

There was no restraint.

No control.

And that meant he was just as much a threat as the machines.

The Leader's Betrayal

Meanwhile, deep within Skynet's Siberian base, Samuel Sterns—the Leader—watched the battlefield through a dozen holographic screens.

A twisted smile curled across his mutated green face.

"So," he mused, "Ross actually did it."

He turned to his own private chamber, where a massive containment pod stood sealed behind reinforced glass.

Inside—a figure stirred.

Ross had injected himself with the first Red Hulk serum.

But the second prototype?

That was for someone else.

The Leader chuckled, pressing a button.

The pod hissed open.

And from within, a second pair of glowing red eyes flickered to life.

The Final Battle Begins

The war had escalated beyond anything Sam had imagined.

Skynet was still advancing.

The Leader had his own plans.

And now, Red Hulk was loose.

Sam took a deep breath, tightening his grip on his shield.

This was it.

The final battle for the fate of Earth-616.

He tapped his communicator.

"All Avengers—fall in."

Because if they didn't stop this now?

There wouldn't be a world left to save.
