Seungmin stared at Hyunjin's soft blonde strands and looked into his pretty brown eyes. Those brown beauties met Seungmin's eyes, however, Hyunjin broke the eye contact almost as soon as it was made, turning back to talk with the people who surrounded him.

The two boys, Seungmin and Hyunjin, had been secretly dating for some time now. They didn't hang out much in public, not wanting to be found out, they'd only shown their romance in private. Though recently they hadn't even been lovey behind closed doors. Hyunjin always seemed to have something to do whenever Seungmin wanted to see him.

Seungmin sighed looking back at his own table, as Hyunjin was across the room eating with his group of friends. "Felix, I need some advice." He sought out to him sorrowfully. Felix raised an eyebrow, signaling he was all ears.

"It's for a friend not me, but what would you do if you dated someone, but they didn't seem to ever want to be around you, or their always busy." Jeongin let out a groan and rolled his eyes, he was well aware of Seungmin and Hyunjin's relationship, being Seungmin's best friend since elementary.

"Busy," Jeongin muttered under his breath, only Seungmin had heard in the noisy cafeteria.

Jisung choked up one of his fries in shock. Jisung always choked when he was surprised, even if the only thing he could choke on was pure air.

"Aw, has our Minnie finally got himself a girl?" Jisung cooed at the younger, after finally finding a way to breathe again. "Had to get you one before Valentine's Day, huh?" He continued to tease.

Seungmin raised his brows a bit at the last tease. His mind had been occupied with nothing but Hyunjin for the past few months. Valentine's Day had completely slipped his mind. He hadn't even prepared a gift for his lover.

"Pfft, what makes you think Seungmin would want a girl?" Sunoo chimed in, the two were ganging up on the poor puppy.

"You're one to talk. We all see the way you look at Jay." Jeongin slammed his fork into his tray, glaring at Sunoo. The two of them never seemed to get along.

Sunoo gritted his teeth, then opened his mouth as if he were about to speak.

"Anyways," Felix spoke up before the two started to spit flames at each other. They could have gone on and on forever. "I think if someone truly loves you, they'll at least be able to give up a few seconds of their time to text you."

"Yeah, and if not, your friend should definitely break up with their boyfriend." The youngest scoffed, giving Seungmin a strong side-eye. Though he was the younger, he was a bit protective over Seungmin, so he hadn't been ecstatic to hear Hyunjin wasn't giving Seungminn royalty treatment.

"Bold of you to assume he's friends with females." Jisung just couldn't seem to stop the insults today. But no one truly cared, as this was a norm for them. They'd all play argue, without taking the insults to heart, they'd just insult right back. However, Seungmin wasn't in the mood today.

"Jisung where's your girlfriend?" Jeongin snapped back and shot him a confused look. He then looked around the lunch room as if he were searching for someone. "I don't see her anywhere."

"Hey! It's a work in progress." Jisung defended himself. A light shade of pink arose on his smooth, round, cheeks, as he folded his arms and made eye contact with the floor, biting the inside of his cheek.

"That's what he said last month." Felix coughed up, the diss, continuing to eat his chicken wings as if he hadn't said a thing. Once he was done chewing he looked to his right to smirk at Jisung.

"Hey! You're supposed to be on my side!" He gave Felix a playful hit on the back, causing him to cough up something other than his previous diss. Felix gasped for air as he choked on absolutely nothing, having swallowed the meat before the hit.

"Oh my god! Help the poor boy!" Sunoo arose from his seat so he could hit Felix's back and help him. The way they sat Jisung and Felix sat side by side, and the other three lined up across from them, on the other side of the table.

"Deserved." Jisung rolled his eyes sassily. He hadn't helped Felix one bit. Felix could only return the sassiness, and roll his eyes as well, adding his own side eye to the end.

For the rest of their lunch period, the group rambled and ranted about senseless topics, with the exception of Seungmin. He'd barely even touched his lunch, and the food he had eaten didn't sit well in the pit of his stomach.

His eyes only allowed him to stare at Hyunjin's beautiful dark eyes, and think about how he used to hold him so closely every night. Oh, where had that all gone?

Seungmin had given Felix's advice much thought throughout the day. He needed to confront Hyunjin and question him about the sudden distance between the two.

So, after school, he mustered up the courage to talk to Hyunjin in front of his friends. This was something he'd never done before, as the two lived in a small town with a little to non-existent population of gay people, they didn't take chances on someone finding out about them. In public, they'd walk past each other as if the other didn't exist.

"Hyunjin....can we talk?" He muttered, under his breath. The blonde looked down at Seungmin. He glanced back at his friends for a second and signaled for them to go on without him.

Seungmin grabbed the taller's hand and pulled him behind the school. It was a dark and cramped area, with only the two of them.

"What is it? I've got an art assignment due tomorrow, so make it quick." He didn't try to come off as rude, yet that's how he sounded to Seungmin. Like he didn't want Seungmin around like he wanted to get away from him as soon as possible.

"Do you want me?" He blurted it out. He hadn't even meant to say it. The words had snuck out of his mouth.

He couldn't imagine the other answering positively, so he looked down at his shoes, bracing himself for whatever Hyunjin was about to say. "What do you mean?" He sighed and grabbed Seungmin's arms.

"Do you...still want to date me?" A frown threatened to take its place on Seungmin's lips, but he wouldn't allow it. He was terrified that the two had lost their spark, but he had to act as if he didn't care, not wanting to seem desperate and be annoying.

"Of course, I do. I've just been bus-" Hyunjin whispered out, sounding sympathetic, voice soft.

"No, you're not! Why can't you just make time for me? I barely get to spend time with you, anymore!" Everything came out at once, like a broken dam. The tears flooded out, the screams of anger, as he lashed out. "And I don't understand why we can't just be open about our relationship! It's twenty fucking twenty-four!"

"I'm so sorry." Hyunjin grabbed Seungmin pulling him closer. He ran his fingers through his soft brown locks and rubbed small circles on his back with the other hand. "There, there. I promise to make it all better. How's a date sound tomorrow? I'll pick you up around one, yeah?" He whispered, hands cupping the other's cheeks, staring into his gorgeous eyes, which glistened with tears.

"Yeah. I just want you back." Seungmin wrapped his arms around Hyunjin tightly. Hyunjin hugged him back, cradling him in his arms. Seungmin continued to cry into the other's chest, staining his black hoodie with tears. Hyunjin kept Seungmin in his arms for however long he wanted, forgetting about the things he had to do.
