Ruby Makes Cookies

Y/N POV

I walk inside the kitchen to make myself a milkshake. That is, until I see my girlfriend, Ruby Rose, ready to make cookies.

Ruby: Oh! Hey Y/N!

Y/N: Hello Rubes, I see that you're going to bake. Need some help with that? My grandmother did own a pastry shop, I know all she knew!

Ruby: Thanks sweetie but there's no need! I can do this on my own!

Y/N: Okay.

I kiss her cheek and then grab some stuff for the milkshake. I instead decide to watch Ruby. She starts her culinary quest by tapping one of the eggs on the side of the bowl, but the shell doesn't crack. Ruby looks perplexed for a moment, then tries rapidly hitting the egg with the same lack of results. I pinch the bridge of my nose.

Y/N: Ruby. I love you. Really I do. But I taught you how to master your weapon. Your semblance. I even helped you unlock and master your silver-eyed powers AND YOU CAN'T BREAK AN EGG?!?

Ruby: Wait! I have an idea! KYAAAAHHHH!

She jumps up, screaming in rage, before throwing the egg into the bowl, where it finally splits open in a burst of white pieces and some orange yolk landing on her cheek, which she silently glowers at.

Y/N: That's one way to do it.

I chuckle and clean the yolk off her cheek with a tissue. She thanks me and continues. She then attempts to gently pour some of the flour into her bowl, but when none comes out, she gets up on the table itself and tips the whole bag over it upside-down. Giving it a cautious shake.

Y/N: Uh Rubes, I don't think that's a good ide-

Too late, the flour bursts from the bag like a hose, causing Ruby to scream and my sight to be obscured in powder before the dust clears to reveal piles of white around the kitchen and a pasty-faced Ruby with dizzy eyes.

Y/N: Okay. You obviously need help.

I put on an apron that says "Shall i give you dis meal?" I then start all over again with her. I crack an egg once and it breaks. I then grab another bag of flour and gently pour it in, when none comes out, I give the bottom a gentle tap and it starts pouring out.

Y/N: Alright now we need the chocolate chips. Rub-

I see her holding the bag and she starts digging in to the chocolate treats, grabbing handful after handful into her open mouth from behind the table, in front of it, and even outside the window. I laugh a bit.

Y/N: Truly like a child.

Since I know that Ruby loves chocolate strawberry cookies, I decide to chop some strawberries while Ruby lays in the sink, pouring the chocolates in her mouth as her foot twitches. I put the sliced fruits in and snatch the bag from her hands, she pouts.

Y/N: We still need some for the cookies.

I pour what's left in and throw the empty bag away. I mix for a bit and then stop.

Y/N: You can do this yourself Ruby.

Ruby nods. She attempts to move it only to find the spoon is stuck. She attempts to move it towards her with both hands while grunting, pulling on it from the tabletop with her feet planted on the bowl until she's launched back, pushing at it with all her might before pitching herself over the bowl, and finally jumping right onto the handle with a crack, I cringe a bit, knowing that hurt. She falls to the floor and looks up at the stubborn kitchen utensil with narrowed eyes.

Y/N: Alright spoon. You will obey me or I will burn you and your family.

No response comes from the spoon. I start stirring like a crazy person as some dough gets on my face. Ruby giggles as she takes the dough off my face and puts it in her mouth in the cutest way possible which I can't help but smile at. We cut the cookies into circles and put them in the oven, leaving for Ruby to munch on the leftover dough. When we're done, Ruby takes the tray out and stares at the cookies with starry eyes. I chuckle.

Y/N: Well, I need to go back to the team. See you later Rubes!

I kiss her on the lips and she blushes as I take my leave.

Party Games

Amara POV

Me and the gang decided to play some games. Of course, Ruby came with pin the nail on the donkey. My snowflake, Weiss, is going first. She attatches the tail to Myrtenaster and launches herself with a glyph. She embeds the tail...At it's feet.

Ruby: Missed!

Weiss: Drat!

Amara: You'll get it next time snowflake!

Ninjas of Love

Third Person POV

Ruby happily skips to her team's room and sees that nobody is there.

Ruby: Huh, no one's here. Eh, I guess I'll go check the court... yard...

Before she leaves, her gaze falls on the book half-hidden under Blake's pillow, with the title "Ninjas of Love" on its spine. Ruby fully steps inside the room and zooming over to her teammate's bedside, a look of wonder on her face as she sneakily glances around making sure the coast is clear before taking it out and examining it herself. She stares at the cover picture of a man and woman dressed in black, armed with blades and looking deeply into each other's eyes under a tagline reading "No shadows can conceal the lust of one enigma for long...", until she turns it around to read the description.

Ruby: Ninjas, huh?

With a small time skip, we see Ruby flipping through the pages of her new discovery, eyes wide and absorbing information with emotions ranging from amazed marvel, intense concentration, gasping shock, guilty pleasure, shuddering glee, and topping it all off with her skipping ahead a few pages until she turns the book sideways and a picture unfolds downward for a full body shot.

Ruby: Now that's a katana!

Y/N then bursts into the room and looks at the picture.

Y/N: Phew! I thought I'd lost your innocence.

He says. Talking about the ninja on the picture holidng an actual katana.

Ruby: What do you mean?

Y/N: Nothing!

Y/N then runs out of the room before he has to explain what sex is to poor, innocent Ruby.

Weiss and Yang Training

Third Person POV

Weiss is seen in the Beacon Academy courtyard raising her weapon threateningly at Yang with a snarl, and the blonde in turn raises her arms with a smirk. They get into their battle-ready stances before coming at one another, Weiss swiping her blade at a ducking Yang, whose hair curl pops back up once the attack is safely over. Noticing the near-blow to her locks, Yang attempts a punch on Weiss, who blocks it with a small glyph before swinging her sword down onto one of her opponent's gauntlets. Yang uses this opportunity to smack the blade away from its wielder and leave her open to a leap in the air followed by a blast from her weapons... only for the shot to never fire and result in only a "click" noise.
Yang lands back on the ground and keeps trying to punch her weapons into shooting, and Weiss stops flinching from what she thought was an oncoming blow to look just as puzzled at Yang. Isabelle, who was a referee for the match face palms.

Isabelle: Yang, did you seriously forget to load your weapons?

Weiss smiles and laughs to herself, raising her hands to her face with tongue stuck out mockingly at the brawler until Yang realizes the obvious solution and simply punches Weiss with her fist, knocking the heiress out of the courtyard and letting Yang strike a victorious stance.

Isabelle: Well that fight was boring.

Yang: Hey shut u-

They then hear the sound of clashing metal. They then see Y/N and a friend of his named Cloud sparring.

They continue fighting and Isabelle watches with her mouth open and starry eyed and Yang's jaw is practically on the ground.

Isabelle: Now THAT'S a fight!

Ninjas of Love
Third Person POV

Blake is seen at her bed looking frantically for a certain something. When she can't find it, she gives a worried look to the audience before scrambling through her bookshelf.

Blake: Where is it?!

She gets up and turns left with an embarrassed face to Ruby standing there with "Ninjas of Love" in her arm and a growling grimace, hesitantly pointing at the novel.

Blake: Ruby, is that my book?

Ruby: This is filth! FIIIIIILTH!

With a sudden twirl, she smacks Blake across the floor into her bed using her own sordid literature before marching away to the other side of the room.

Blake: Can... Can I have my book back?

Ruby: Later!
