Tessia Eralith
I was making my way through one of the zones of the so-called Relictombs, or rather, Cecilia who was in control of my body along with Nico and a group of Vitra bloods not far behind. The two were talking about something, but I didn't care to listen. With not much to do I decided to look at Cecilia's memories again. There wasn't much left to see as this was all I could do for the past year.
This memory took place in an arena with a huge crowd waiting for the battle to start. It was the last one of a tournament called The Crown Selection. In front of Celilia was a boy with short pale blond hair, Grey, who by now I know it was Arthur in his past life. As the referee signaled for the fight to begin, the two clashed swords, with Celilia having the upper hand and mocking Grey the entire time.
The fight ended with Celilia letting herself get impaled by Grey's swords so she could finally escape her fate. The last thing she saw was Grey's face in shock and disbelief. The next thing I saw her waking up in my body with Nico and Agrona next to her, but that was not something I needed to see.
With nothing to do again my thoughts drifted to Art. So much of him made sense now, the way he cared for everyone, his fighting ability, maturity, the way he treated me back when we were kids, or rather, I was. I wonder how old he actually is now.
As I remember our time together, it seems Cecilia found what Agrona had asked her so I focused on what she was doing. We were in a large room similar to the hall of a museum with relics on display all around us, but only Nico was here as the Vitra were nowhere in sight.
"I thought we weren't supposed to get separated if we had the simulets. Where are the Wraiths Nico?"
"It could be that they were sent to a different area of this zone. I read reports about things like this happening in the Relictombs, so it should be fine Cecil." But his tone betrayed him, he was obviously worried as the Wraiths were here to protect him since Art broke his mana core. I wished he would have killed him but I understand why he didn't. I don't think I would be able to kill someone who was like family to me in not one but two different lives. Suddenly a voice sounded in the room.
"Worry not outsiders, you cannot be physically harmed in this room. At least one of you can't." The voice finished in a playful tone. It sounded like the voice of a child, but I couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl and the owner was nowhere to be seen as Cecilia whipped my head around looking for it.
"Who are you!? Show yourself!" She said, trying to sound intimidating.
"I'm afraid I can't since I no longer possess a physical body. As for who I am, you may call me The Archivist." The voice introduced itself in a cheerful tone.
"It's a pleasure Archivist, if I may ask, what did you mean by one of us can't be harmed in this room and which one of us did you refer to?" Nico asked, still worried for his safety.
"Exactly what I said. And the one I was referring to was the original owner of the body you possessed outsider. It was your job to bring her here, lucky for me, that snake is very stupid and followed the crumbs I left without a question." Wait, they were supposed to bring me here, for what? I could tell the other two were confused as well and this time it was Cecilia who asked a question.
"How could we bring the original owner of the body here, she is dead, Agrona said so."
"Except he lied to you, or maybe he is even dumber than I thought and didn't know better. Probably the latter since he is an Asura." Disdain was clear in the Archivist's voice as he finished the sentence. Before Nico or Cecilia had the chance to speak again he continued.
"Now then, let me explain why I had Agrona send you two here. First, it was to get rid of you Legacy, that way I can send her back in time together with our descendant, one the two of you know very well since you tried to kill him. Second, I just want to mess with Nico a bit since he is very annoying." Send me back in time? And with who? If it is someone who they know and tried to kill, it could only be Arthur. But how? He wasn't here and last I heard he was with the Scythe who rebelled.
As I was thinking about what I just heard my body felt heavy and I fell to ground. I could feel every part my body had hit on the floor, every nerve telling me I was in pain. But that wasn't all, I could feel myself slowly regain control of my body, I couldn't believe it so I closed my eyes and tried to see Cecilia's memories but nothing appeared. She was really gone, like she was never there in the first place, just like that. Opening my eyes again I tried to get up but the effort it took was too much right now so I decided to just sit in ground for the time being. As I finished sitting I could hear Nico calling for what he thought was Cecilia so I decided to mess with him a little.
"Shut up Nico, I can hear you just fine." I said, trying my best to imitate Cecilia's speech pattern.
"Cecil?" His tone and face in disbelief as she never talked to him like I am now.
"Was your voice always this annoying? And where is Grey anyways, he promised to pick me up for dinner today." I could barely maintain my annoyed face as I talked to him, but I could feel my body slowly becoming mine again making it easier to do so.
"Cecil, what are you talking about? Grey killed you, why would he take you to dinner?" Just as finished speaking, realization hitted him and he turned around and shouted.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER ARCHIVIST!?"
"Me? I just returned to the princess what was hers. I'll admit that I wasn't expecting her to fuck with your head like that though." Did he really have to cut my fun short?
"WHAT!?" Nico screamed as he turned to me, but before he could do anything a cage dropped on him making it so he couldn't get closer. His mouth was moving but no sound came out of it.
"Well then, now that the nuisance won't interrupt us, let me explain why you are here. You see, long ago when we Djinn were building the Relictombs, a small group decided to take a look into the future so we could better prepare. Unfortunately, every future we saw spelled our doom with very few passing or blood to future generations. So we decided to look further, and that was when we found it, or rather, him. A man who would put the Asura in their place, a man who would do the impossible over and over again just to keep the ones he loved safe. But luck wasn't on his side and in the end he failed because he was not able to master the power of Fate in time, and so he lost everything. Seeing this, we decided to help him avoid the tragedy in his life, and so we left the means for him to do so. We made a tool that would allow him to go back to the past so he could change the future with his own hands. But he can't do it alone, and that is where you come in. Your job will be to support him during his journey, to stay by his side and not let him fight alone, after all, a king needs his queen."
After processing what the Archivist told me I realized he was talking about Arthur. He was the only one who would do the impossible for the people he cared for and the only man I would allow to call me his queen.
"Alright, tell me what I need to do to help Art." My voice was filled with determination as I spoke.
"Right now, just leave everything to me. After I send you back in time, just make sure to keep Arthur on the right path, he'll need an anchor in his life. Now then, before I begin, there are a couple of things you should know. First, this spell will send your soul and memories back, so you'll have to work on reaching integration from scratch. Second, it will use your soul to find other people who could help Arthur change the future, but don't get too hopeful about it since it's not guaranteed it will find anyone it deems worthy. And third but not any less important, make sure you enjoy life, what's the point of time travel if you can't make the most of it?" I couldn't see him but I felt he was smiling on the last sentence.
I had a lot of question for the Archivist but it looks like he won't give me the cahnce to ask as I felt a surge of mana around me, there was something else there but I couldn't tell what it was. Soon I found myself losing consciousness.
"I wish you the best of luck." Was the last thing I heard.

Everything around me was dark and I couldn't feel anything. If it weren't for what the Archivist told me I would've assumed I was dead, or worse, trapped inside my own body again.
Suddenly I felt small pricks all over my body that quickly evolved into agonizing pain. After what felt like an eternity the pain subsided and I felt myself hugging something soft, something familiar. My eyes shot open and the sight in front made all the pain worth it. Right next to me was a boy with wheat colored hair, cream white skin and golden eyes with a little of the blue they used to be.
"Art, is that really you?" I asked even though I already knew the answer. The spell had worked, there was no way I wouldn't recognize the man I loved.
"Of course it's me. What happened, was the nightmare that bad?" His voice and face were filled with concern as he asked.
"Yeah, it was pretty bad, but it ended well since we're together again." I said as I pulled him into a hug he soon returned.
"The voice didn't lie, it really sent me back. Just like you." I said in between sobs.
"Wait, send you back like me? Tess, did you time travel?"
