Cadell just left the room leaving me and Nico stuck in place, still processing what just happened. Nico suddenly fell down his butt with a dissatisfied face.

“I don't wanna get trained by that bastard anymore." Nico complaining about Cadell.

“He trained you?" I asked, raising one of my eyebrows and sat on a wooden chair in the corner of the room.

“Yeah, he trained me for a few days, that day we actually met is the fourth day of my training. And it continued until I moved to Seris's mansion." He explained standing up and patting the back of his pants. He moved to the double decker bed checking it out.

“Grey, I'll sleep on the bottom. You know I really don't like high places and the bottom is much more dark and seclusive that I prefer it than the top one." Nico said getting his shoes off his feet and jumped to the bed at the bottom.

“Yeah, don't worry about it. I always wanted to be on top." I replied doing the same as he did. Taking off my shoes and climbing up to the top bed.

“Hey Grey." Nico said with a serious tone. He's on the bottom bed that's why his voice is more low than it's supposed to be.

“What is it Nico?" I replied grabbing the pillow beside me putting it on the back of my head and layed down.

“What do you think should we do from now on?" Nico asked which made me confused. The two of us already talked about our main goal right now. That is to make Cecilia's reincarnation come true.

“What are you blabbering about now? Didn't we already vow to make Cecilia reunite with us already?" I replied to him with a slightly annoyed tone.

“I know about that! What I'm asking is what will we do next? What is our path gonna look like after we successfully reunite with Cecil?" Nico said back to me with an angry almost a shout, barrage of words.

I took a deep breath releasing a relaxing, long sigh. And I thought about what Nico just said. It is true that our main focus for now is Cecilia. But what's next? I pondered with it a bit and I thought of a path, the most reasonable path to go through.

I explained it to Nico and he was speechless on how advance I thought to the future. And about how my plan or theory is one of the most realistic and logical way the turns of events could unfold.

I didn't take his praises at hearts because I know that even if it's the most logical one. There are still a lot of variables that we don't know yet. Just one of these unknown variables can easily damage the statement I just said and possibly even be able to destroy it completely.

It's been atleast half an hour Nico and I have been talking about possible things that could happen. And he even spouted some random delusional things which fits his character really well, he's a simp after all.

I jumped of my bed and wore my shoes again, going out to meet Caera in the cafeteria. “Hey Nico, wanna join me?" I asked the man who's now just reading a book about legendary ascenders and what they've discovered. “No, I hate being in the center of attention and also, wouldn't you want to get a lone time with your girlfriend?" Nico said not taking his eyes of the book in his hands.

“She's not my girlfriend!" I yelled at him. “Yet" He replied and began cackling like a maniac. I left the room immediately not wanting to hear his weird laugh anymore.

I walked down the top floor reaching the ground floor where almost all the main facilities are in. I strolled around a little bit and finally found the cafeteria and looked for Caera if she's in there. After a few seconds of searching within this crowded area, I saw Caera seating with two girls around our age. They are talking casually that I instantly knew this is the two friends she's been talking about to me. Enola Frost and
Mayla Fairweather which lastname is kind of a mouthful.

I didn't make them aware of my presence, still unconsciously activating mirage walk while walking up to their table. I walked up to Caera who's back is facing and sat down beside her without even the three noticing.

After some time, one of the girl in front of us Mayla, noticed me and froze. Seeing this, the one on her side Enola got confused and looked at my direction also making her freeze.

Noticing this, Caera who's much sharper than all of the students here finally became aware of me. “Oh Grey, you're finally here." Caera said cheerfully which shocked not only the two in front of us but the majority of students around our table who heard her.

Ignoring them all, I placed my right arm on the table with my hand supporting my face. “Hello there, Enola and Mayla right? Caera talked about you guys quite a lot majority of the time I'm with her." I greeted the two which made them snap back to reality and quickly nodded their head.

I raised my hand signalling them to stop and they did. I looked beside me where I saw a blushing, embarrassed Caera Denoir. “Why do you have to say that? It's embarrassing you know." Caera said, still with a red shine or her face.

“You know, you don't seems to look like someone who gets embarrassed by things like that." I mused, finding Caera being embarrassed amusing.

“And also, there's nothing bad telling such things. They're your friends they should atleast know that you think highly of them." I added, pinching Caera's cheeks making her look at me dead in the eyes.

“Sorry to interrupt your talk here but I shall take Caera with me. We have some private matters to attend right now." I said to the two smiling, which made them nod nervously.

“Don't worry, you can take her back in the afternoon." I explained, standing up. Caera beside me also stood up and the two of us walked away from the crowded cafeteria.

The two of us walked alone in the empty hallways being close with each other. Our shoulders are basically glued together and our hands keep bumping on each other constantly. Caera's about to speak but I interrupted her speaking first.

“Caera, starting from tomorrow, Cadell will train the three of us." I said and received a nod from Caera.

“We will only be able to attend two classes and the remaining time would be our training with Cadell." I finished what I'm supposed to say and Caera continued her words that got interrupted by me earlier.

“Grey, I know you already know that I really like the relictombs but" She stopped walking and faced me seriously which made me also stop and stare at her eyes.

“Grey, after we finish our years here in this school. Can you accompany me in the relictombs?" Caera asked with a serious tone. I looked at her with a puzzled expression.

“Yes? of course, I will. Is that's all? And here I thought you're gonna confess your love for me or something." I joked, trying to make the atmosphere light again but it didn't. I looked at Caera who's now looking down on the floor blushing madly. “Wait? Huh? What?" I asked confused, blood also started to flow to my face.

“W-well actually you're not wrong." Caera said in a low voice full of shyness. I who doesn't know a single thing about situation like this just did the first thing that came to my mind and hugged Caera, holding her in my chest.

No one's point of view

Worry, anticipation, excitement, and craze are just few of the emotions everyone inside the laboratory under Taegrin Caelum. Right now, they're all waiting patiently with an exception of Agrona who's now grinning like a mad man in front of the subject he modified just a few minutes ago.

The vessel, a woman who look like a teenager. Her former fire like hair is now a dark blood red in color. Because of the Vritra blood injected through her veins. Her eyes opened slowly revealing a vibrant orange eyes glowing like the sun striking fear to everyone in the room except the two basilisk.

Her hearing started to work and mind finally became conscious of her surroundings. She looked around and the first one who captured her attention is a man with elk-like horns and bright red eyes looking at her with a gaze full of craze, madness and excitement. She tried to speak but she felt her throat being dry making her unable to speak.

The man spoke startling her with his low, cold yet the voice he produced is full of authority and power, making everyone she knew back then on her previous life an ant compared to this man.
