i'm thinking about making other stories like one shots... like on eddsworld, camp cwmp, and other shows like that. idk maybe even make another story like this with like pico or steve? idk let me know what you guys think

you opened the note. you scooted closer to steve while he adjusted his glasses to read it. steve read it a lot faster then you, so when he finished reading it, he started kicking his legs and squealing. you looked at him in a confusing way.

"read it!"

he pointed his finger new the last paragraph.

"...i was wondering if this Saturday night we could go to a cliff. it has a good view and i think it would be fun for us to hang out there!"

you looked at steve a little confused.

"what does that mean?"

"he wants to go out with you! that cliff is the place he goes to all the time! he loves it there. and during night, you see the prettiest sunset."

you were less confused now. you smiled a bit. steve brought you into a hug. a comfort hug.

"your the one!"

you got a little pink when he said that

"what do you mean?"

"he loves you!"

you got red.

"well.. i can't deny it at this point..."

steve let go from the hug and grabbed your hands.

"you guys are gonna get married, have kids, and-"

you put your hand over his mouth and started laughing.

"let's not go that far..."

you remove your hand from steve's mouth.

"your the one though! your gonna be the first person he ever dates!"

you were confused when he said that.

"what..what do you mean?"

"y/n... he's been lonely his whole life. he has even dated people during middle school."

"how? with those looks i was surprised he wasn't dating somebody!"

you said blushing a little. but it was the truth.

"i know!"

steve replied. you both laughed a little about what you both just said.

"but yeah it's true. i knew as soon i was introduced to you, you was perfect for him."

you chuckled a little at what steve said.

"i guess we wait til Saturday now."

you said getting up.

"i guess so!"

steve said in a exited tone.

steve took you back to your room. once you guys got there, he opened the door for you and let you walk in. you looked back at him.

"i'll update you!"

he gave you a thumbs up and a smile. you smiled back at him as he shut the door. you took out captains note out of your pocket and you jumped on your bed. you reread it again, and again. each time you re read it, you kept smiling more and more. you held the note close to your chest, and then you started to drift off into a deep sleep.

you woke up with your alarm blaring in your ear. you jumped up when you heard it. you groaned then sat up. you rubbed your eyes and started to look around to make your vision not so blurry. you could finally see again and you looked down at your bed sheets. you seen the note.

you smiled again thinking about what the note said. about the saturday night. you got up and stretched and where mad because you had to do more training today. it felt like waking up for school. you looked at your clock and you still had time to get a coffee and chat with captain.

you threw on a outfit and started walking down to the cafeteria. when you got there steve and captain were already talking but then got quiet when they seen you. you never knew why but they were talking about you.

"hey y/n!"

steve yelled while waving his arm like crazy. you look back at him and gave him a weak smile and a weak wave. you looked over at captain and gave him a better smile and a better wave. just seeing  him made you happy and it gave you a bit more energy. there was something about him that you loved.

you got your coffee and sat down with them. it was a little awkward at first because what happened last night. but steve was able to start a conversation, he said

"we need more coffee beans..."

captain looked over at him.

"we ran out ? are you sure there's none in the back ?"

"yeah! there's one big bag left. and the people who usually give us are stuff cant come here until 2 more weeks!"

"really? i thought they came yesterday!"

captain got a little aggravated.

"they did...but forgot the coffee beans."

captain sat back in his chair and crossed  his arms. he looked down at his shoes.

"we have a shop near by. i'll just go there and pick up a lot of there little bags there."

"...can you do that?"

you asked.

"yeah! we get most of our stuff there for free because... ya know...it's hard to explain and its not like me to think hard."
(HEHEHE I HID A JOJO REFERENCE IN THAT SENTENCE)

you laughed a little at him.

"yeah, i understand !"

he laughed a little with you.

"would you like to come with me? i have a whole list and i hardly know my way around that store."

captain looked at you with a smile. steve started kicking his legs under the table with excitement.

"sure!"

"mmm how does after training sound?"

"sounds fine with me!"

"alrighty!"

captain said while rubbing his legs.

"i'll see you after training i guess then!"

"okay!"

you got up and took another sip of your coffee heading back to your room to get ready for the day. as soon as you left captain looked down at his shoes.

"i feel bad."

"why?!"

"i was..."

captain cut off what he was about to say.

"...what?"

"i was staring at her...y'know.."

captain put his face in his hands. he started mumbling under his breath and his face was super red. steve was a laughing mess.

"i hate..."

"no! it's..."

steve wouldn't stop laughing.

"it's ok!"

"no it's...thats  bad.."

captain was still mad at himself and was still super embarrassed.

"you have always been like that! making weird comments and stuff like that... y'know ?"

"no! i only knew her for like...how long?"

captain looked at steve and he was genuinely angry.

"it's ture love at first sight!"

steve started laughing even more. he even starated wheezing.

captain growled under his breath.

"i'm done here."

"no! captain!"

steve said while trying to keep down his laugh.

suddenly, you heard captain chair screech across the floor and you heard heavy foot steps coming towards the doorway you were standing. you started speed waking. the cafeteria was huge so it was hard to make it to one place to another. you got almost got to the halfway point of the cafeteria before you heard captain call out your name.

you didnt stop walking, and the fast waking turned into a run.

"damn it."

captain gave up. steve got up still laughing a bit. he stopped when he seen captain sitting there he looked over and seen you running.

"wait.."

steve started walking towards captain.

"what...happened..?"

"they heard...the whole thing..."

captain started slowly walking.

"w-wait what? really?"

"yeah.."

captain looked down at steve. at this time you were already in your room trying to process what happened while getting ready for training. you still had some time left so you sat on your bed and thought about what captain said. you looked at your mirror. you stood up and checked out your body in the mirror. it was visible that people would stare.

you sat back down and looked at your helmet. did you really want to train? you started getting mad at yourself for no reason. you jumped when you heard a knock at your door

"y/n! its steve!"

you didnt know what to say.

"come in..."

steve opened the door and seen you mad. he closed it and ran over to you and sat right next to you

"listen...y/n... he didn't mean it that way! hes not a pervert! i knew him long enough to know that. he was day dreaming staring at you and then he didn't know you got up then he was..y'know...caught
lookin."

you sighed.

"i...i dont know."

"whats wrong? you kinda have to deal with him now or never. hes the one who has to train you to use guns today."

you shivered a little bit when steve said that.

"well... i guess it was a accident."

"please trust me y/n! you seen hes kinda dumb and he was just staring at you! day dreaming about...i honestly don't know what and i don't want to know...a-anyways he was just looking at you then when he noticed you got up, he caught himself staring."

you started bouncing your leg.

"please...y/n..."

"..okay..."

steve smiled and gave you a comfort hug.

"thank you! i promise hes not like that!"

"okay..."

you smiled a bit and hugged steve back.

"cya at training!"

"cya!"

you waved a little at him. you looked over at your time and training started in the next 13 minutes. you sighed. you really did know captain was not like that.  you tried to shrug it off because you had to deal with him in 13 minutes and after training.

you grabbed your helmet and started walking to the field, hoping you would forget.
