Your face progressively turned red, Tanjiro trying to hide his by staying serious.

"D-damn you, provoking humans.." Rui said in a dark and raspy voice. "Her corpse belongs to my family.. SO HAND IT OVER!" Rui started going insane, throwing back every thread he was possibly capable of. You dodged every attack, but Tanjirou was having a hard time doing so.

You grabbed his hand, pulling him closer to you so that he wouldn't get hurt anymore. "Just hang on for a moment, I'll try my best!" You said to Tanjiro, thinking of what was the best thing you could do now. You were able to tire down Rui for a bit, then letting go of Tanjiro.

"Why does it have to be so damn hard.. to get rid of you parasites?!" Rui scoffed, heading for you.

"Blood demon art.. Cutting Thread Cage!"

Before he could get to you, Asuno quickly mustered up the strength to jump in front of you to protect you. She faced you, leaving the cutting thread cage to take power on her hair and completely chop off her entire ponytail. Oh no.

Her hair elegantly flew to the ground, leaving a pile of her straight and golden tresses to fall on the dirt. Asuno gasped, but hesitated to panic right now. She knew now wasn't the time for that.

Tanjiro had enough. He decided to make an attack towards Rui.

"Water breathing,

Tenth form.. Constant Flux!"

Water started to glide among his sword with a figure in front that looked like some sort of dragon. He was so close to Rui's neck, but didn't quite pull it off..

Rui laughed to himself evilly, trying to attack Tanjiro with his threads. Luckily, Tanjiro was able to avoid them all.

Something had to be done..

"Star breathing.. 1st form:

Space slash!"

The area around you cleared, giving you more space to attack. You could then see the thread you always saw before you cut off a demons neck, starting to have hope. Your positivity stayed up, until Rui quickly swiped his thread, cutting a super deep cut on your elbow. It was so painful, it didn't give you time to cut off his neck.

Rui then went for Tanjirou with the same blood demon art, and you then started crying because you had no desire that he would stay alive. That was until Nezuko jumped out of her box, protecting Tanjiro just like Asuno protected you.

"N-Nezuko!" Tanjiro cried out, watching her arm get cut deeply. There was only a little bit of skin keeping her arm connected, which made you worry like hell.
Tanjiro held her arm together, also fearing that Rui would do something to you in the meantime. "C'mon, heal damnit!" He said to himself, dreading in panic.

Rui then grabbed Nezuko by her other arm, holding her by her neck with his arm. He then dragged you up off from the ground, but you wouldn't cooperate. You tried wriggling out of his arms, but he cut your fingers as a warning. You let out a yelp, giving satisfactory to Rui knowing that you were in pain. That's what he wanted.

"Hahaha.. such precious girls, soon they will be donated to my family.. how sad for you~" he gave Tanjirou a sad but evil smile. This pissed you off, so you tried to break free again in return. This time, Rui decided to slit the top layer of skin on your neck. The blood started to gush, and Rui then wiped it off with his finger and drank it. Ew.

"Do it again, and I'll feed on you more you parasite." Nezuko was getting angry, you've never seen her so serious.

She kicked his arm, causing you to hear a crack. It didn't sound like she broke it, but she did damage it pretty bad. He let go in surprise, getting angrier. As a threat, he latched onto you harder, making it hard for you to breathe. With your free arm, you slowly but steadily took your sword out and slashed his arm. He grabbed the wound, letting you go.

This only made Rui aggravated, not hesitating to go for Nezuko since she was a new target. As fast as he could, Rui wrapped his threads around both Nezuko's arms and legs, tying her up. She started bleeding where the threads were latched, having her scream.

"NEZUKOO!!"
