Giyuu's feet pounded against the pavement, his mind racing with thoughts. The morning air did little to ease the weight of Sabito's words echoing in his mind. Each step seemed to make him think more of the burden of his actions.
"Maybe I am wrong... I can't burden him with my love life, his health is not good either," Giyuu thought while jogging.
Giyuu quickened his pace with a frustrated exhale, his determination driving him forward. "I fucking messed up. How do I always manage to fuck it up?" he thought silently, regretting everything he said and thought.
In the end, he couldn't evade his mistakes any longer; Sabito deserved better, and so did Shinobu. Halting his run, Giyuu retrieved his phone, fingers tapping out a familiar number with a sense of urgency.
The line connected, and Sabito's voice cut through the silence. "What?" he responded, the tone guarded but tinged with curiosity.
"I'm sorry," Giyuu blurted out, the words heavy with sincerity. "I shouldn't have—"
Before he could finish, Sabito interjected, his voice softening with a hint of amusement. "I'm glad you apologized, but I wanna see you actually do something about it. Maybe treat Shinobu a little better?" The teasing edge in Sabito's voice was unmistakable, a gentle nudge toward self-improvement.
"Okay... okay, I will," Giyuu conceded, his resolve firm. With a final affirmation, he ended the call, determined to make things right. He knew he couldn't continue being self-centered and doubtful, risking another mistake. Not everyone got a second chance, and he wouldn't waste his.

"I didn't know you could paint," Obanai remarked, studying Mitsuri's paintings with genuine surprise. "Oh? You think I can't paint?" Mitsuri responded, her voice tinged with a hint of sadness. "No! That's not what I mean—" Obanai quickly clarified, but Mitsuri interrupted with a giggle.
"I'm just kidding. I do know how to paint, but I never get the time," she sighed, her expression turning bitter. "Plus, my manager is a... questionable woman," she added, her tone implying much more than the words conveyed. "A bitch," Obanai thought to himself, though he kept his thoughts to himself.
"Well, do you want to go to a painting studio?" Obanai suggested, breaking the silence. "A painting studio?" Mitsuri looked at him, clearly confused by the sudden proposal. "Yeah, you can paint whatever you want. I'll rent it for tomorrow, and you can paint all you want," Obanai explained, a faint hint of anticipation in his voice. Mitsuri's eyes sparkled with excitement at the idea. "But what about the photo shoot?" she asked, a hint of disappointment creeping into her voice. "I talked with your manager. I was going to take you out tomorrow anyway, so why not do something fun?" Obanai shrugged nonchalantly, hoping to lift Mitsuri's spirits.
"Thank you so much!" Mitsuri exclaimed happily, unable to contain her excitement as she jumped into Obanai's arms, wrapping him in a tight hug.
Obanai returned the embrace, placing a gentle kiss on her head. "Anything for my love," he murmured, as Mitsuri screamed internally.

The next day, Obanai and Mitsuri went to the painting studio, the anticipation palpable between them. As they entered, Mitsuri's eyes widened in awe at the number of canvases, paints, and brushes.
"Wow, this place is amazing," she exclaimed, a wide smile gracing her lips.
The owner and workers came towards them "We're big fans of both of you! Thank you so much for coming to our studio. It means a lot to us."
Mitsuri's eyes lit up with genuine warmth. "Oh, thank you! We're glad to be here."
Obanai nodded in agreement, a rare softness in his gaze. "It was our pleasure. Thank you for having us."
Obanai looked at Mitsuri "You can take your time and paint whatever inspires you," he said, gesturing towards the various supplies. "Okay!" Mitsuri thought for a while.
Mitsuri's gaze fell on Obanai's white snake, Kaburamaru, coiled around his arm. An idea came in her mind, and she set to work, capturing the details of Kaburamaru's scales and the graceful curve of his body with each delicate brushstroke.
As Mitsuri painted, Obanai watched in silent admiration, his usually stoic expression softening as he observed her dedication and skill. She was determined and looked beautiful while doing something she deeply enjoyed.
Hours passed in a blur as Mitsuri poured her heart and soul into her artwork, as she brought Kaburamaru to life on the canvas. Finally, with a satisfied smile, she stepped back to admire her masterpiece.
Obanai approached her, his eyes widening in awe at the lifelike portrayal of his beloved friend. "It's incredible," he murmured, his voice tinged with emotion. Kaburamaru hissed happily wrapping himself around Mitsuri as she smiled petting him.
Mitsuri beamed, her cheeks flushed with pride. "I wanted to thank you for today," she said softly, her gaze meeting Obanai's. "So, I painted Kaburamaru for you."
Obanai was speechless, overcome by Mitsuri's thoughtful gesture. He reached out to clasp her hand, gratitude and affection shining in his eyes. "Thank you," he whispered, his voice filled with genuine appreciation. He placed a small kiss on her lips. "This was fun we should come next time," Obanai said "mhm! I loved it!" Mitsuri said happily.
