"Who is at the door, darling?" The same guy, they saw at the Grand Brazilian restaurant asked as he wrapped his arms around Gauri's stomach, hugging her from behind.

"Omkara Sir?" Gauri asked looking at Omkara in shock, "What are you doing here?"

"I... I guess I came to a wrong address." Omkara said looking between Gauri and the guy. "I was looking for Mr.Mehta." he lied.

"Oh, I think there's a confusion, because this house belongs to Mehra, so may be they got confused with the names." Gauri explained.

"Would you like to come in?" Gauri asked him.

"No, I should leave now." Omkara excused himself and walked away.

"It's Gauri." Omkara whispered sitting inside his car, "Gauri was Anamika." He repeated with a bright smile.

"Are you sure?" Shivaay asked not wanting his friend to get heart broken again.

"I am sure, the way she smells, the way she talks, the way she looks at me, the way she was avoiding to touch me, everything was obvious, I was a fool not to realise that." Omkara smiled slapping his head.

"You know she always had this problem to pronounce H, that she used to call Mukesh as Mukes, but to avoid the suspicion she was making an effort to call that new intern Mukesh by his name, with a right pronunciation." Omkara laughed as he remembered how embarassed she looked when Mukesh made fun of her and how she gave him the file to hold, instead of her hand.

"Doesn't that mean that she doesn't want you to recognise her?" Shivaay questioned. "Remember, she lied to you about her identity, she was a top student in her college yet she lied about her education and was working in your home as a maid. She is not what she is portraying herself as Omkara."

"Whatever she is, whomever she is and whatever her intentions were or are, my love for her will remain the same." Omkara said with a determination.

"Well," Shivaay sighed, "in that case, you have one more person to worry about."

Omkara looked at Shivaay in confusion.

"Who is at the door, darling?" Shivaay mimicked. "We don't know what is his relationship with Gauri, whether he is her boyfriend or husband or something else, but the way I saw them together this afternoon and now, I am sure that she is happy with him."

"She might be happy with him but she told she is in love with me." Omkara said stubbornly as he fisted his hands as he remembered the way the guy was hugging Gauri. "She is mine as much as I am hers, I will make sure she is mine." He vowed.

"So, what's the plan?" Shivaay asked.

"Rohan... Rohan, please listen to me." Gauri cried as she ran behind Rohan.

"What the hell, Gauri?" Rohan shouted running his hand in his hair, "You are working with Omkara Singh Oberoi, and you didn't think it's important to inform us?"

"Rohan, I didn't know that I am working with him until last month. I swear, I didn't do it intentionally." Gauri explained.

"You could have resigned from the job." Rohan said pointing his finger at her, "Did you forget the rules of the organisation?"

"I didn't, even if I have to resign I have to serve a notice period of 90 days and by the time he would leave to India, and I won't have my job."

"Whatever it is Gauri, if Uncle Harsh gets to know this, then I don't know what will happen." Rohan said with a sigh.

"Rohan, I am sorry. I didn't think it would be a problem since he never saw me." Gauri said, "please forgive me." She asked holding her ears.

"What do I do with you, Gauri." Rohan sighed, hugging her.

"Gauri." Omkara called standing beside her cubicle.

"Omkara sir." Gauri looked in shock, seeing him standing so elegantly leaning against her cubicle wall.

"I am heading to the construction site, so thought of taking you with me." Omkara said putting on his sunglasses. "Will you accompany me?"

"Sure." Gauri nodded as she followed him taking her handbag.

"Omkara sir, you took a wrong turn." Gauri pointed out as they took a right turn instead of left.

"Yes, I am feeling hungry. So, I thought of having a quick breakfast before we go to the construction site. It's fine with you right? If not we can go back." Omkara said.

"No, it's fine. You shouldn't skip your breakfast." Gauri said.

"Thank you, Gauri." Omkara smiled as he parked his car infront of a cafe.

"So, Gauri." Omkara said as they say down after placing the orders. "You live in that apartment, we met yesterday in?"

"Yes, I live there with my friend, Anika Mehra. The one, who's name you got confused with for Mehta." Gauri answered.

"Hmm." Omkara answered as he looked out of the window.

Gauri being Gauri began to check out Omkara with a dreamy look on her face.

"Wow, he looks so cute today." Gauri sighed, "With that pink sweater and loose hair, he looks like an adorable teddy bear, I wish I could pull his cheeks, aww... Now I can see his dimple as well. I just want to poke that dimple. How can he look so hot and cute at the same time." Gauri thought as she looked at him, leaning over the table with her palm against her cheek.

Omkara controlled his best not to laugh out loud as he discreetly looked at Gauri drooling over him, through his black sunglasses.

How he wished to see that admiring look on her face, whenever she looked at him.

"Gauri." Omkara cleared his throat. "Gauri, what are you looking at?" He asked.

"Looking at the most handsome person in the world." Gauri sighed and realising what she said, she began to cough aloud.

"Here, drink some water." Omkara said passing the glass of water to her, as he looked at her amused.

"Were you drooling over me?" Omkara asked raising his brow.

"No." Gauri almost shouted, with her cheeks tinting pink, "I have a boyfriend, a very handsome one." She replied.

"That didn't stop you from drooling over me." Omkara shrugged as they stood up and walked out.

"So..."

"She has a boyfriend, Shivaay." Omkara sighed.

"But that's not going to stop you." Shivaay stated.

"Yes, she is mine." Omkara said stubbornly.

"So, what's the plan now?"

"I can't do anything until I get to know what's stopping her from becoming mine."

"Her boyfriend, isn't it is obvious?" Shivaay rolled his eyes.

"Your sarcasm isn't going to help me." Omkara frowned.

"Then what should I do?" Shivaay asked.

Gauri was reading a book in her room, when she heard her mobile ring.

"Shivaay sir?" Gauri said wondering why Shivaay is calling her at nine in the night."

"Gauri, thank god you received the call." Shivaay said in an hurried time.

"Did something happen, Shivaay sir?" Gauri asked.

"Omkara... He is not feeling well. He called me for help a few minutes back and now he is not taking the calls, could you please check him once, I am currently at the airport, it would take me atleast three hours to get back there." Shivaay said. "You can find the key under the doormat."

"I am going to check on him." Gauri said as she ran out of her home grabbing her mobile, as her heart slammed against her chest and tears streamed down her face.

"Omkara..." Gauri called out as she opened his apartment door. "Omkara, where are you?" She called out as she walked inside the dark apartment there was no light.

"This is how my life looked like a few years ago." Gauri turned around as she heard Omkara's voice. "Dark, and clueless, until one day a stranger entered into my life like a ray of light and brightened my world with her presence. She gave me the hope to live and the confidence to survive. She made me fall in love with her, she promised to love me forever and left me alone with her beautiful memories and love. Anamika, the beautiful stranger." He said as he turned the switch on ligtening the room.

Gauri adjusted her eyes to the brightness of the room.

"Omkara..." Gauri frowned as she found him standing amidst the fairy lights and flowers that filled the room.

"Om." Omkara corrected her as he stood infront of her making her heart slam against her chest in panic. "It's Om for you, Gauri, or should I call you Anamika." He asked.

"No..." Gauri shook her head vigoursly as she stepped away from him, "I don't know what you are talking about." She said in panic.

"You very well know what I am talking about Gauri, stop denying the truth." Omkara said as he held her arm to stop her from moving away from him. "Admit the truth that you are Anamika."

"No, I am not Anamika, I am Gauri Sharma." Gauri said as she tried to wiggle out from his hold, "leave me, you have mistaken me for someone else."

"Mistake?" Omkara asked as he pulled her closer to him, "My eyes can mistake you for someone else, but how can it be a mistake when all my senses are screaming that you are my Anamika?" He questioned her.

"Please let me go..." Gauri cried.

"I will let you go." Omkara said looking at Gauri, "But before that tell me that you doesn't love me, tell me the promises of loving me forever are false, tell me it doesn't matter to you if I leave you, tell me it doesn't matter to you if I di..."

"Please don't say such words." Gauri said pressing her fingers against his mouth, "I would die is something happens to you."

"Then why are you causing me pain by staying away from me?" Omkara asked her with tears brimming in his eyes.

"We can't stay together, Omkara." Gauri cried, "We are not meant to be together."

"Why?" Omkara asked in anguish.

"The world I live in doesn't allow such liberties." Gauri said. "I can't risk your life, Omkara. I can't let anything happen to you."

"Let me the one to decide whether I want to risk my life or not." Omkara said looking at Gauri. "I can risk my life everyday with you on my side, without you my life feels so meaningless."

"I can't stay with you, Omkara." Gauri cried falling to the ground on her kneeS. "Please understand."

"Is it because of your husband?" Omkara asked kneeling infront of her.

Gauri shook her head, as she said, "You are the only man in my life."

Omkara hugged her in relief.

"Then what's stopping you from being mine, Gauri?" He asked.

"I can't tell you." She sobbed against his chest.

"I promise, I won't ask you about your past, or present, I won't ask you any questions or anything, just stay with me, and love me, I would be the happiest person alive." Omkara begged her.

"I have always loved you, Om." Gauri said looking at him, "even when I couldn't see you, I loved you. I love you, Om."

"I love you, Gauri." Omkara said hugging her tight, "I love you." he said kissing her on her lips.

Gauri wrapped her hands around his neck as he pulled him down as she reciprocated the kiss.

It was a kiss filled with silent promises, lot of love and happiness to celebrate their togetherness.

"God, you wouldn't believe how long I have waited for this moment." Omkara said as he began kissing down her neck.

"I know, I feel the same." Gauri whispered as she pulled him closer to her, gripping his hair.

"Please don't ever leave me again." Omkara said as he kissed her again, and  soon words weren't enough to express their love for each other.

Omkara stood up carrying her in his arms as he made his way to his bedroom.

"I love you, Gauri." Omkara kissed her forehead after they decended the peaks of pleasure. "And I won't get tired of letting you know that."

"I love you more and I am happy." Gauri smiled pecking his lips.

"Let's do it again." Omkara mumbled as he kissed her neck, pulling down the duvet.

"You are insatiable." Gauri laughed pushing him.

"Can't help it, I have been a virgin for twenty nine years." Omkara said kissing her shoulder. "And now that I found the forbidden treasure, I can't stop myself."

"I know the feeling." Gauri laughed as she wrapped her arms around him pulling him on top of her.

"I have to go." Gauri said as he tried to wiggle out of Omkara's arms.

"No, I won'tet you go away from me again." Omkara said as he hugged her tight.

"Anika will wonder where I have gone to." Gauri tried to convince him, "She might panic thinking something happened to me."

"You can call and inform her that you are busy with your boss." Omkara winked.

"And what should I tell her if she asks me, what work does my boss have with me at this hour at night?" Gauri asked rubbing her nose against his.

"Tell her we are busy finding the highs and depths." Omkara said pecking her lips.

Gauri slapped his chest laughing.

"Spend the night with me." Omkara requested her.

"Let me message, Anika." Gauri said wrapping the bedsheet around her to go and find her mobile.

"Come back soon." Omkara said and laid back feeling happy to have his Anamika, back in his arms. His Gauri, his love.

Gauri walked towards Omkara's room after finding her phone and messaging Anika about having to stay back at the office due to some emergency that came up suddenly.

She stood by the door as she watched Omkara, as he laid back in the bed with his hands behind his head, and the white duvet covering him till his torso. He looked delicious.

"You should stop staring at me." Omkara said without opening his eyes.

"I con't help it." Gauri smiled walking towards him.

"Why just stare when you can do a lot more with me?" Omkara asked as he pulled her to him.

"Shameless." Gauri laughed. "I want to sleep, I am tired." She said snuggling in his arms.

"Sleep." Omkara said wrapping his arms around her pulling her closer to him. "I just hope I don't wake up tomorrow and  find out its dream." He sighed.

"Ouch!" Omkara exclaimed. "What are you doing?" He asked Gauri as she sucked on his neck.

"Making you realise that it's not a dream." She said pecking his lips. "Good night."

"Good Night, Love." Omkara said pulling the duvet over them.

Gauri woke up feeling the warm breathe fanning over her cleavage, she looked down and found Omkara sleeping peacefully resting his  head on her chest, his arm wrapped around her stomach and his leg loosely thrown on her legs.

She ran her fingers in his hair as she thought about them.

She doesn't know what the future is holding for her. She doesn't know what to answer to her Uncle Harsh, if he gets to know about her and Omkara. But she was sure about one thing against ever odd, she is going to stand up and hold on to Omkara, she can't let go off him and stay away from him anymore. They suffered a lot, and she isn't going to let them suffer anymore.

She slowly slipped out of his arms as she felt a need to take a warm shower.
Pulling the duvet over him, she kissed his forehead and walked inside the shower.

"Gauri..." Omkara shouted sitting up in his bed as dread filled him when he didn't find Gauri beside him, when he woke up.

"Om... What happened?" Gauri asked as she came rushing inside the bed room

"I thought you left me again." Omkara breathed out hugging her tight.

"I am not going to go anywhere leaving you." Gauri said as she rubbed his back as he laid back in his bed.

"Anika called me, so I went out to attend her call, since you are sleeping here." Gauri informed.

"Why did you wake up so early?" Omkara said as he nuzzled his face in the crook of her neck.

"I always wake up early, unlike you." Gauri smiled. "You wake up at eight o clock."

"How do you know?" Omkara asked surprised.

"I know, every morning I used to wait for you to wake up and open the curtains of your room, so that I could get a glimpse of you." Gauri chuckled.

Omkara smiled remembering their days at Oberoi Mansion.

"I borrowed your tshirt and shorts, since I put my clothes in the dryer." Gauri said as she stood up from the bed.

"Whatever is mine is yours, feel free." Omkara said as he stood up and kissed her forehead.

"Thank you." Gauri smiled, "Go and take a shower, I will be in the living room." She said.

"Gauri..." Omkara called as he walked inside the living room after taking a shower.

"I am in the kitchen." Gauri answered.

"What are you doing?" Omkara asked as he walked inside the kitchen.

"Cooking breakfast for us." Gauri answered as she rolled the dough.

"Aloo Parantha?" Omkara asked, wrapping his arms around her stomach, resting his chin on Gauri's shoulder as he watched her flatten the parantha's.

"Yes." Gauri nodded as she leaned back against his chest.

"Do you want any help?" He asked her as she flipped the parantha on the pan.

"Grab the plates and water, while I finish cooking this Parantha." Gauri said.

"You are walking funny." Omkara pointed out as Gauri walked towards the kitchen carrying the dirty plates.

"After what you did to me last night, it's a wonder I am walking." Gauri rolled her eyes making Omkara grin.

"I can't hold myself back when it comes to you, love." Omkara said holding Gauri's hand, making her smile.

"You go get ready, I will do the dishes." Omkara offered.

"Thank you." Gauri said kissing his cheek and walking towards his bedroom.

Omkara was wiping the plates when he heard the door bell ring.
