We got out of the neighborhood and went out into the city. The city was quite packed, people everywhere. Taehyung seemed to be cautious once we started walking since he stayed by me and Jimin keeping his hands together not letting himself be free. He hugged himself and made his way through the people.
"Y/n, Do you think this is gonna work?" Jimin asked, he looked over at taehyung who seemed to be scared of the people.
"Im not sure, we have to try. Taehyung do you see anything familiar?"
He shook his head no.
We kept walking for about twenty minutes straight, just looking around the area. When I was about to give up and go back to the car Taehyung spoke up.
"Y-y/n, there." He pointed towards a dance studio on the other side of the street.
"There? The dance studio?" I questioned, he danced?
"Y-Yes."
"Okay, let's go."
"It's called Dance With Hope" jimin said while reading the sign
"Nice. Maybe someone remembers him."
We walked in and saw many different dance rooms. There was a guy walking towards us and with a huge smile.
"Taehyung-ah!" He called out.
"H-Hobi." Taehyung remembered him.
"You know him Tae?" I looked over to see his facial expressions.
He nodded.
"Why wouldn't he know me? I'm one of his best friends and his dance teacher." He said throwing small hearts.
I found him quite energetic, a positive energy.
"Who owns this place?" Jimin said out of curiosity
"I do." The black haired man with the smile responded
"It looks so luxurious! I would love to take some classes here." Jimin said looking around at the classes on the side.
"Any friends of Taehyung are welcomed here."
"So, What's you're name?" I asked in case what Taehyung said was a nickname. I mean I've never met a "Hobi".
"Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Jung Hoseok." He bowed for us.
Not gonna lie Hoseok was very charming and handsome. He was really well mannered.
"How have you been Tae? Why haven't you come back! It's been years." He pouted and crossed his arms.
"Hoseok.. could I speak with you in private?" I asked
"Uh Sure, Jimin and Taehyung you guys can go into that dance room and hang out while we talk."
They left and we talked into one of the rooms as we stayed outside. I could see them both dance and having fun.
"So, why did we need to talk in private?" He questioned me as he leaned on the wall looking through the window.
"Taehyung, isn't here on the best terms."
"What do you mean?"
"He's not doing so good he's in a mental health facility, I'm his 'nurse'."
"W-What?" He took his eyes away from the glass and looked over at me.
"From what I have heard so far from his older brother Kim Seokjin."
"Seokjin? Jin? You talked to him? I haven't seen him in ages! Last time we talked was when he came to pick up Taehyung" He looked surprised.
"Looks like you and Taehyung were close." I stated.
"Yea, Taehyung and I were basically brothers. Same goes for the rest in the group."
"I see, well do you know anything about Kim Mina?"
"Mina? Taehyungs sister?"
"Yea." I answered
"Not much other than she's in her last year of high school and is going to America once she graduates"
"Why's that?"
"She said she needed a change of scenery. She was devastated when Taehyung went missing so she wants to get out of here."
"Devastated?" I questioned, she couldn't be as devastated as she said she was if she took her own brother and put him away.
"Yea, she wouldn't come out into the city as often. She always told me that she was looking for Taehyung and that it was harder for her to keep looking. She said she thought about giving up." He shook his head.
"Well... she couldn't have been that devastated if she took him to a mental hospital." I said.
"She did what?! Why would she do that?"
"That's what I'm still trying to figure out." I sighed.
"I knew there was something up with her story. She had said to me one day that she knew his location, he stayed with some friends. I found it odd since we were his only friends. I would hope he would come back but he never did. She never wanted to give us his location."
" Us? Who's us?" Who else was involved in Taehyungs life...
"Our group, our friend group. We all met each other when we were little."
"Could you give me some names? And maybe what they are doing now."
"Sure. Firstly there is Kim Namjoon. Namjoon is my roommate and he works at a coffee shop not too far from here. I could give you the address."
"They were close friends?"
"Yes, it was six of us. Well, seven of us when we were younger."
"What happened to the seventh one?"
"He moved to a new house and since we were kids we didn't have phones or any way to stay in contact with each other."
"Oh okay, who's next?"
"Min Yoongi. He's a producer actually, he works for a big music company. He's also one of my roommates. You already met Jin but we were all close. Lastly, Jungkook was closer to his age. They knew each other before all of us met. Jungkook is actually a YouTuber who does covers of different kpop songs."
"I've heard of him before! They said he might become Korea's next big solo idol."
"Yea, we hope so, we have helped him through the process. It would make him ecstatic to make it big."
"Hoseok I'm gonna need a favor from you."
"What is it?" He arched his eyebrow.
"I'm gonna need you to gather everyone up next week. I don't care about the day but it has to be as soon as possible. I need to find a way to help Taehyung."
"Okay, where do you want to meet us?"
"I'll text you all the details later. Just give me your number."
We exchanged numbers and went into the room with both jimin and Taehyung in it.
"Thank you Hoesok." I bowed my head.
"No problem, if you need anything else just text me."
"I will, you have been a lot of help." I smiled at him.
We all said our goodbyes and left the dance studio.
"Was he nice to you?" Jimin questioned.
"Yea, he was really sweet!"
I told jimin everything from what hoseok told me and about meeting all Taehyungs friends.
"K-Kookie"
"Cookie? You want a cookie?"
"N-no." Taehyung shook his head.
"Then what is it?"
"J-Jungkook. Kookie!"
"Is it a nickname for him?"
"Y-Yes."
"Don't worry Taehyung you will meet him soon." I said with a reassuring smile
"Y/n?" Jimin said
"Yea?"
"I think I know hoseok from somewhere I just don't know where."
"You do?"
"Jungkook is an youtuber and maybe you've seen Hoseoks dance studio before?"
"Maybe..."
"Well it's getting dark out should we take Taehyung back to the hospital?" I said
"N-no!" Taehyung said
"Taehyung we have to take you back."
"N-not t-tonight! T-tomorrow."
"Fine. You can stay at my house for the night and I'll take you back early in the morning because I have to speak with someone tomorrow."
"Is it her?" Jimin questioned
"Yup. I'm gonna drop you off first jimin."
"Okay."
I dropped jimin off at his house and drove over to my house. It seemed as if my mom hasn't come home yet. I brought Taehyung inside and took him to my room so he could sleep. I knew I could get in so much trouble if she knew I brought him. I noticed today that taehyungs behaviors were much more controlled. Sure, he was shy still and did not really talk but I think that was just who he was. He seemed to have let loose a little and I could not tell if that was because of me or something else...
"Y-y/n."
"Yes?"
"T-thank you."
"For what?"
"B-because I s-saw J-Jin and H-hoseok."
"They care for you Tae. They will always be there for you."
"I k-know."
I went over to my closet and got a extra blanket out and some pajamas for Tae.
"Here you can wear Jimins Adidas shorts. They are kinda small but I think they should fit you. You can just keep the white shirt you have on and take off your jacket."
"O-okay."
He left and got changed. After a while he came back out and laid down on my bed. I turned off the light and covered him with a blanket. I laid on the ground next to the bed after setting up pillows and blankets. The feeling of being safe never left. Everyone saw him as this scary person who has issues. In reality people have stereotypes and if anything is out of the ordinary they have a hard time looking past it. I just could not shake the feeling in my chest telling me something.
