•*¨*•.¸¸☆*・゚aishi's pov

"whoever brought me in this universe must've loved me so much!" i exclaimed as i laugh happily, rolling around my bed.

you must be thinking, why got you so happy aishi? well, i made a new discovery this past few days.

it's been two weeks since the akane incident happened and information about her failed attempt made headlines. many had been empathic towards her while some are still saying that this probably just an act, they are still being pieces of shit and a scum in the planet.

anyway, the cast of lovenow probably went out of their way because after three day of news still floating around the internet, they released a behind the scene video featuring how every cast are close with each other, effectively cleaning akane's name.

the latest episode was released last night and would you look at that, akane finally did what she was well known in the oshi no ko community, imitating ai hoshino.

i know that the twins are shocked by it since, well, ruby was watching akane's clips intently while aqua...well, he seems to be paying more attention to akane in the show.

i'm not totally jealous, like totally.

enough of that, i am now gonna tell the thing that made me this happy amidst my jealousy towards the aqua and akane.

well, yesterday, i was walking home after school. my electric bike was malfunctioning so i had to get it fix, which means i have nothing to drive for going and leaving school.

i was busy walking on the sidewalk, making sure that there are no sinkhole will form because, haha, i died because of it.

"kiireina yoru dakara, kanashii yoru dakara. yasashiku waratte, mimamotteageru~ la la la la la la la~" one of the things that made me a bit happy from staying in this world is that some of the songs that i used to listen in the past, still exists here but some of my favorite k-pop group doesn't exist which made me a little sad.

i was humming and singing along with the music playing on my headphones when something hard hit the back of my head.

"who the fuck dared?!" i shouted in anger, sharply turning around. my anger vanished when i saw that there was no one behind me and i was practically alone in the streets.

"son of a bitch, if i am getting haunted by a ghost, just so you know, i studied how to exorcise demons--huh?" i was busy looking around when something shining on the ground caught my eyes.

i looked around once more, looking if this was a prank or a bait before approaching the object with vigilance.

i then crouched down and picked that object up. it's a pretty beat up phone...wait a damn minute.

"ain't no way" i muttered to myself, sitting on the pavement and holding the phone on my hand. i removed the phone's case and removed a photocard of a certain idol.

"wonwoo-jjang?!" i exclaimed, looking at the photocard of jeon wonwoo, a korean idol from the group seventeen.

i turned the photocard around and almost cried because of nostalgia.

'hey ai-ai, i know that you like wonwoo so much so this is my birthday gift for you.

love lots, angel'

"angel's gift! i thought I won't see this again!" i muttered, kissing the photo with a smile. my attention is now on the phone.

i spent sixteen whole years in this universe and i almost didn't recognize it. this is definitely my old smartphone! the one phone that i have when i died as aishi (l/n).

i hesitantly turned it on and surprisingly, it still works! i waited for a few minutes before letting out a silent squeal.

"oh fuck, oh fuck, this is really my phone!" i rambled, staring at the now open phone which shows my lock screen wallpaper, a screenshot of hikaru kamiki from chapter 152.

i decide to put my wonwoo photocard and the case back before running off to my house. i'm so happy i could just burst.

i entered the restaurant, saying a short yet respectful replies to anyone who greeted or recognize me. i ran up the stairs, greeting my little brothers in a rush before locking myself up on my room.

i sat on the floor, slumping over the bed and opening the phone.

"fuck, it's the real deal.." i mumbled, letting out a happy noise. everything from my photos and music are still here but anything that would allow me to communicate with the people on the other world had disappear. my facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat, and tiktok are now deleted and gone.

"i sure have downloaded a lot of manga.." i muttered, scrolling on the app where i used to read my favorite anime series.

"oh, oh." i started to laugh by myself after seeing that the oshi no ko manga is still downloaded on my phone.

this is too overpowered, even for me. am i teruhashi? am i god's favorite?

i spent the whole night reading the manga, my initial jealousy between akane and aqua has reached new heights. i had proper understanding about their characters and i have remembered all the major events that i could avoid so the plot still sees me as a npc.

the weird thing is that, no one other than me can see the contents of my phone. shuto and ryuto accidentally saw my phone this morning and they told me that it won't open. i just shrugged and took it from them.

another is that there is a certain force that restrain me from spilling the plot or the future to other people. hm, i guess the universe just want me to know the plot and understand each characters so i won't look stupid.

once i finished reading the manga until chapter 154, it just disappeared on my phone. like there are no trace of the oshi no ko manga existing and the only thing that remains are the screenshots that i took whenever aqua, melt, taiki, or hikaru appeared.

so after all of that cellphone fuzz, i was actually living pretty normally again but i'm more knowledgeable this time.

today is saturday so i was just helping around the restaurant. i was busy serving food when the door opened.

me, being the one closer to the door, greeted the newcomer with a smile.

"welcome-- what are you doing here?"

"hiya, koneko-chan, i'm here to visit you." taiki said, coming up to me with a nonchalant smile.

"i'm working??" i said, ignoring him as i went up to the front to place the empty trays down.

taiki followed me, keeping his hands on his pocket. frill-chan was absolutely correct with her description with him. he really looked like an idiot who's trying to look cool.

'but he's an adorable idiot so i don't mind him being like that haha'

"i can wait for you, koneko-chan, i'm pretty bored you know? i just finished a show last night and i wanted to eat something good" he said, looking up the menu plastered on the wall.

by chance, my dad came out of the back and spots taiki.

"welcome back, aishi's friend. what can i get for you?" he greeted him, making taiki smile. he got closer to the counter and shook hands with my dad.

"good morning, nakahara-san. i was just dropping by to see aishi-chan." he replied, earning my father's approval.

"well then, what can i get for ya?" my dad asked as taiki stood on the other side of the counter.

"can i get a bow of ramen and tonkatsu?" taiki said, acting cool as he orders. i just looked at him with a dumbfounded expression before shaking my head in exasperation.

"alright, that would be 900 yen. do you want to pay with cash or card?" taiki brought his wallet out and taking a 1000 yen bill out.

"cash, please" my dad took the money and gave him his change and a number.

"aishi, why don't you help him look for a seat?" i looked at my dad before nodding in agreement.

"it will be delivered in a few minutes! have a nice day"

i lead taiki on an empty table. "i didn't expect that you'd come back" i said, standing beside him.

"hm, i was just around this area and remember that your house is nearby so i decided to drop by." taiki replied, leaning on his chair.

"you really have a lot time on your hand"

"nah, i'm just built different" he said, winking at me behind his glasses.

"your middle school syndrome is attacking again, taiki-kun" i muttered, rolling my eyes playfully.

"i'm not a chuunibyou? why do you always call me that? even in our messages, you always say that to me" i stifled a laugh before replying.

"because it's fun, i'm just a girl" he jokingly scoffed at me before chuckling.

"playful as ever, aishi-chan"

i rolled my eyes again before excusing myself, i still have a job to do after all. i served a lot of food to different table and even brought taiki's order to his table, earning a thanks and a wink from him.

'stop handsome man, my heart is weak for that kind of gestures'

time passes and when taiki's about to leave, he called me again.

"what is it?" i asked before he took something out of his pocket

"here are four tickets for my play, watch me okay? it's the final play for this series" i looked at the tickets, pushing them away.

"that must've been so expensive, taiki, why are you just giving this to me?" i asked, not accepting your offer but he evaded my movement, bringing the tickets to my hands again.

"it's not so expensive, the company gave us a lot of tickets to invite family or friends. i only have you as my friend so you better accept it" taiki said, sternly looking at my eyes.

i was touched by his words, looking at the tickets on my hand before looking at him.

"that's so sweet, aww, is the great himekawa taiki really softening around me?" i said, not forgetting to tease him

"ugh, shut up and just take it. i need to go now so i'll be expecting you there aishi" taiki muttered, messing with my hair again before he waved at me.

"bye koneko-chan" i watched as he left the restaurant, my hand still holding the tickets.

i didn't notice that my lips twitch into a smile, making my eyes shines brightly once more.

he's making it easy for me to like him more (as a friend, of course).
