"How is the food doing?" Yade asked me, as she walked into my kitchen.

"Great, even though help would be appreciated." I answered, as I continued making all kinds of appetizers. Today was Christmas Day and I had invited the boys and some other friends at my house to spend the evening with presents and food. And maybe some good old movies like Home Alone or the Grinch.

"I'm sorry, Ashton was a little interested in me." She grinned and all I could do was roll my eyes, as I kept on making the appetizers. Ever since those two began to go out, all they could do was stare at each other, touch each other (nothing dirty and hopefully they will never do something like that in front of me, or anyone else for that matter) and laugh. But despite all that, I liked them together. And I liked Yade, which was another good thing, because again, the stereotype girlfriend brothers come home with is not something I'd like.

Talking about brothers... It's still weird to know Ashton and I are related. It had been confirmed by our own mother, but it was still super weird. To both of us. Even though we had sat down with our mother and talked about it after the huge happening last break, which eventually had a good ending of course.

"Laylay!" I heard a certain guy exclaim from the doorway.

"Yes?"

"When can we open the presents?" I rolled my eyes again, before turning around. "We kind of need everyone to be here."

"I know, but I just want to."

"Ashton, either come and help me or get back in that living room, without vandalizing. So no opening presents."

"If I help, does that mean we can open the presents earlier?"

"Why the hell do you want to open the presents so badly?" I wondered, looking at him.

"I want to know what's in them and I want to give you your present." He said with a grin. I smiled slightly. "Okay, I get it. Just, help with the food and the table set up and stuff, that way we can eat once everyone has arrived and that way we can open the presents a little faster."

"Yay!"

~*~ Later that evening

"Wow, this was really amazing Alaya, thanks." Maya complimented as one of the last, as she held out her empty plate for me to take.

"Thank you." I smiled and took her plate, continuing around the table.

"I agree with Maya, it was lovely." Harry then also compliment, giving me a dimpled smile.

"Thank you." I said again, taking the last plate and turning around to the table. "You guys can all go to the living room, I'll just clean the table and stuff."

Most of them nodded and got up, leaving to my living room. Only Ashton stayed behind, helping me by taking some of the other empty dishes off the table. We both walked into the kitchen, loading my dishwasher and talking about what movie we'd rather watch and why.

"Ashton, can I borrow you for a moment?" Yade suddenly asked from the doorway. Ashton looked at me and I nodded, before waving him away. "I'm almost done, you can go."

"See you in a minute sis." He told me before kissing my cheek and leaving the kitchen by following Yade. I returned to the table for the glasses that were still there and when I returned to the kitchen, I was met by a pair of sparkling blue eyes.

"Well, hello there." I told the smiling Luke.

"Hey." He watched me as I put away the glasses and once I had closed the dishwasher, he approached me and hugged me from behind.

"Why aren't you in the living room?" I asked him, looking to my right and up to see him looking at me. "I wanted a little alone time with you to give you your first present before anyone else does."

"Ah, is that so?" I moved his arms a little, so I could turn around and put my arms around his neck to hug him, even though I had to stand on my toes a little to hug him properly.

He nodded, before pushing me back a little and bringing his lips to mine shortly.

"I do hope that's not your present." I told him, biting my lip to keep from smiling as he rolled his eyes at me.

"I could make it your present, but then I don't exactly know what to do with the present I got you. And I think, or more like hope, you will like that just as much. Or better." I raised my eyebrows at him as he seemed to become a little unsure.

"Well... There's only one way to find out, right?"

"Hm. Now, turn around and close your eyes."

"What? But-"

"Turn around and close your eyes."

"Okay, okay. It better be good." I told him, turning around and obediently closing my eyes. I heard Luke rustling around and opening something, though I wasn't sure what he opened. Soon enough I felt something small and cold on my chest just below my collarbones and I just had to open my eyes. They widened as I inspected the small heart pendant that was attached to a quite thin necklace. It seemed to be completely silver and it was absolutely beautiful, even if it was so small.

"Wow..." I muttered as Luke had clasped it shut and carefully lifted my hair over it.

"Hey, I never told you to open your eyes." He said and without having to turn around, I just knew he was pouting.

"I can close my eyes again." I told him, turning my head around a little so I could see him, albeit it just a little. He smiled at me as he shook his head, looking at the ground. I turned around completely and hugged him tight. "Thank you so much. I love it."

"I'm happy you do." He said softly, returning the hug before I let go and gave him a short kiss. "Let's join the others so I can give you your present." I said, grinning as I held his hand.

"Present time!" Ashton yelled, as we entered the living room. It had taken me ages to decorate it, but it had turned out great. The Christmas tree sticking out with its lights and other decorations. And the best, the presents.

Everyone sat on the couch, the floor, anywhere you could sit and was looking happy, talking to each other. I had invited Maya and Harry and had told Harry to take Louis, but Louis had already planned to spend Christmas with his family and girlfriend, so it was the eight of us.

"Before you all start!" I yelled, as everyone was already dashing towards the tree, looking at the presents and wondering aloud what they would get. "Thank you. I think we should just one by one pick presents to give, agree?"

Everyone sat back down, mumbling some sort of agreement and I walked towards the tree. I grabbed a random presents, purposely one that wasn't mine though, and searched for a name on it.

"Harry!" He smiled widely as I handed him his present and we all sat down somewhere to watch.

A few presents later everyone was even more excited, the presents they already got near them or on, if it was something like a jumper. We all waited for a bit as Yade really had to go to the toilet and insisted she didn't miss out on anything.

"Mistletoe!" Calum yelled, causing everyone to look at where Yade was currently standing next to Ashton, who was randomly standing there. Or maybe not so random... Oh well.

"Kiss!" Maya said excitedly, as I caught myself grinning. They both didn't hesitate as they looked at each other with a smile before kissing each other's faces off. Okay, it wasn't that bad, but oh well.

We all clapped once they stopped and they smiled shyly, holding hands as they joined us again.

"Oh, before we all continue, I want to say one more thing." I started, once again. "Merry Christmas!"

*A/N: Yay for Christmas! I know it's nowhere near Christmas right now... Buttt I just loved the idea and I just wanted to show that sometime later Alaya and Luke are together, even though I didn't really mention that clearly :| And that Yade and Ashton are dating and well, that everyone is happy *thumbs up*

The idea was given to me by one of my best friends, who also was my inspiration on Yade :D You know who you are out there! So yeah, I hope you liked it and maybe until the sequel.

But for now: BYE <3
