slight manga spoilers;; mitsuya's backstory<3

i don't know who he is. all i can focus on is his hands scrubbing the dirt and blood off my body and hair. my eyes are closed shut in fear of the shampoo in my hair and my hands are wrapped around my body. he quickly rinses the soap away with hot water and i sighed in relief. my wounds stung very badly but all i could focus on was the warmth and peaceful feeling of being clean.

i opened my eyes but i could still not see properly. he wrapped a towel around me and carried me to another room. i snuggled into him and sighed in relief. he set me down on a bed and a pile of clothes beside me.
"wear these. i'm sorry if they're too big for you but its all i have for now. you can wear them by yourself right?" he asked, his voice was young and smooth.

i glanced at him and nodded.

"great! call on me when you're done so i can help you with your wounds. my name is mitsuya." he smiled. his smile was so warm and made me feel fuzzy and safe. i nodded again but this time quicker. once he exit i put on the clothes he gave me. it was a t-shirt and some pants. they were pretty big on me but i didn't mind. they're very warm and comfortable.

when i finished dressing, i stood there and glanced around the room i was in. the door slowly opened and through there peeked two girls. they both stared at me in confusion before noticing i was glancing back, squealing and running away.

i walked towards the door and softly pushed it open, behind it stood the same girls as before. they squealed again and ran away to a different room.
mitsuya came rushing towards me, "i heard squealing, is everything ok?!" i then pointed to the two girls who were again peeking through a door.
"oh those are my sisters, luna and mana. luna, mana come here and say hello! its not good to just ignore your guest this way!" he scolded as the girls walked towards me.

"hi!! im luna....this is mana. sorry for not saying hello earlier..." luna said as mana hid behind her.

mitsuya smiled at us before shooing them away. "let's go back in, i got bandages for your scars."

"this is originally my room, but i don't mind you staying in it. now rest! tomorrow, you can tell me about what is happening. don't come out of here unless you really need me alright? ill check up on you occasionally to see if everything is ok so you don't need to worry about anything.

you're safe now."

he pulled the warm blanket over me and gave me a kiss on my forehead. his lips were soft and warm and made me feel even fuzzier inside, "goodnight~"

i can't sleep.

i've tried for so long and i'm so tired of trying. the bed is very comfortable and everything feels soft and fresh because i just took a shower, but i just can't sleep. all that my mind focuses on is the beating.

i hate myself so much.

i pushed the blanket off of myself and tip toed towards the door and softly pushed it open. it seems like i've been trying to sleep for a while since all the lights were off and the whole house was very quiet. i decided to go look for the kitchen and get some water.

i did my best to not make any noise as i slowly walked through the hallway and past some doors until i ended up in the kitchen. i opened up some cabinets and filled a cup with water. right after finishing it i heard the front door swing open.

fear filled my body as i quickly scrambled back towards mitsuya's room and hid under the covers.

"mitsuya i'm home! is dinner ready?" a mature and feminine voice shouted through the house.
there was no answers, probably because everyone is asleep, except for me.

i heard footsteps through the house until they ended up in front of mitsuya's door. my eyes widened in fear.

the door was swung open, "mitsuya? are you asleep?"

then i heard some quick loud footsteps, "mom! i'm here, yes dinner is ready its in the fridge! heat it up in the microwave and it'll be fine."

"mitsuya what is that under your blanket?"

"its nothing mom...come you must be hungry."

birds chirped loudly outside my window as i yawned softly. i pushed the blankets off of me and stepped off the bed. i was just about to get out of the room but then i remembered mitsuya's mom. what if she's still home? what if she doesn't approve of some random homeless girl staying here? mitsuya really looked like he was trying to hide me from her...mitsuya...

the door was swung open, so quickly that i didn't have time to react.

"you're awake! i was just about to wake you up. breakfast is ready i'll lead you toward the bathroom and i'll give you toothbrush to use. sorry about yesterday my mom still doesn't know about you. but its nothing so you shouldn't worry yourself! focus on recovering, alright~?"
i nodded and followed him to the bathroom, after doing my business we went to the kitchen where he sat me on the chair and put deliciously smelling waffles in front of me. luna and mana were sitting beside me already digging in their food.

"eat as much as you want! there is enough for all of us." mitsuya said with a warm smile. the same warm smile that fills me with fuzziness and comfort and without any thoughts i ate my waffles. they were so good but i couldn't focus on anything but eating them because i hadn't eaten for days.

"we all go to school right now and i'm too worried to leave you alone at home. it will also be very boring so i'm going to bring you with me to school. you won't be allowed to attend to any classes though but i'll try to fix something up for you alright? now focus on eating! i'm sure you're very hungry." he pat my head and i couldn't help but almost melt at his touch. hes so warm and nice. i love him so much. "what is your name?"

i looked at him, my cheeks were puffed because of how full they were, i quickly swallowed the waffles and mumbled, "[y. n]..."

"[y. n]! i'm going to leave you with my friend when i'm at school just so that you won't be bored. hes very strong so you don't need to worry! you will be safe and i'll make sure hes nice to you ok?"

i was nervous but i still nodded. when we all finished our food they grabbed their backpacks and i followed them around. first mitsuya dropped off his siblings in kindergarden and then he took me to a school.

mitsuya searched around a bit before he spotted a blond boy around our age walking. "mikey! over here!"

the boy looked at mitsuya as a smile fell on his face. "mitsuyaa~ goodmorning"

when he neared us he finally noticed me, "mitsuu who's this?"

"this is [y. n] can you stay with her today? you don't usually go to school either way so i wondered if its ok."

"sure~ but who is she?"

"i'll tell you later, she's pretty shy so be careful with her. school starts for me soon bye-bye~"

i waved at mitsuya and then turned to mikey. i looked anywhere but him and gave a small wave. "follow me! let's walk around town together and find things to do. there's a park nearby~ ohh i'm also really craving some sweets too! let's go let's go!!"

mikey is really nice. he bought us both lollipops and candy. although he didn't share it evenly, i'm still very happy.

i shoved the candy in my mouth as he did the same, "mmm soo goood~!" he grinned childishly.

"soo [y. n]~ who are you? i mean you're not a sibling of mitsuya, i've never seen you before y'know..." he asked, walking ahead of me with his hands resting behind his head.

"i-i don't know..."

"hahahhah you don't know who you are? you're funny!"

"no! i'm serious! he just- he just found me somewhere and took me..."

"so basically he kidnapped you?"

"no!! he helped me. they- she.. i was being beaten and he found me..." i whispered.

he turned around to look at me, "that explains the bandages...do you have parents?"

"umm...yes...but i don't like them. they're mean to me and it makes me sad when they hurt me."

"y'know...any friend of mitsuya's is a friend of mine too! you're interesting. let's go to a park!"

"mikey!!" shouted some random kid, me and mikey turned to the voice and there stood a boy and another one behind them. "this guy was looking for you."

the boy behind him stepped in front of him and said, "i know some guys that wanna meet you!! follow me"

i glanced at mikey but he was looking at the boy before he nodded and followed him.

we ran together before the boy stopped before a bunch of guys who looked older than us. they all wore uniforms and had scary looks on their faces.

"hes here!!" the boy shouted proudly.

"huuhh....so you're the infamous invincible mikey-kun?"

mikey didn't respond instead he immediately ran towards the guy in the middle and kicked him with such force that he fell on himself despite being almost twice mikey's size. he was immediately out and mikey walked back towards us with a blank look on his face.

"hey you, what are you doing with these losers? you're totally badass, be my friend." mikey stated.

"i'm draken!!"

"h-hi.... i'm [y. n]"
