[No one's POV]
The bell had rung after a good hour or two, signaling the students that it was time for lunch already. Tommy let out a sigh of relief as he got up from his desk.
He immediately exited the classroom and made his way outside. That's were he was going to stay until Lunch was over. He didn't bother going to get himself anything, he was use to starving himself most of the time that he didn't really eat a lot. Maybe once a meal every day, nothing to big for his liking.
With one swing, the door were opened and the cold air instantly hit his face. A small smile formed as he hopped out of the school and into the fields.
When he arrived he made sure to look around to see if anyone was there. Once he saw no one in sight Tommy let out a small breath before beginning to take off his uniform Jacket.
"Finally, I was getting uncomfortable in this uniform" He mumbled to himself.
He felt his spine start to tingle a bit before a pair of red wings popped out of his back. Ripping the white shirt he carried on him.
'Ehh Hawks can just get me a new one' Tommy shrugged it off.
Shrugging it off, he began to let his horns and tail out as well. Both a dark shade of red-like his wings.
He clapped them for a bit until they extended even bigger.
"You never told me you had wings" Tommy heard a familiar voice speak out. He turned his head around to see Hawks standing right Infront of him.
Tommy jolted upwards in surprise as he slightly stumbled backwards. "Shit-Stop scaring me like that! He yelled at him.
"I've told you a million times already!"
Hawks just shrugged his shoulders "I can't help it" He said, his eyes wandering over at Tommy's wings and horns,
"Now when were you going to tell me about this? Or were you planning on keeping this amazing secret away from me, mhm?"
"I was going to keep it to myself-UNTIL you suddenly came out of nowhere" Tommy replied
"Why keep this a secret?" Hawks asked,
"You shouldn't keep your wings hidden like that, it'll damage it even more"
"They're already damaged," Tommy said, looking back at his wings.
"I can't even fly with these stupid wings, even if I try I can't even get a good few feet off the ground before my feet meet the ground again"
Hawks frowned, "Have you been taking care of them?" He asked him.
Tommy looked at Hawks in confusion, to which he quickly took notice of. Chuckling. Hawks looked at Tommy with a small smile,
"I'm guessing you haven't been"
Tommy nodded
"Your wings need to be brushed (or shead?) every once and a while in order for them to be healthy and strong. Without it...Well you can see what happens"
"How was I supposed to know that? No one ever told me anything about that, Not even Phil and he had wings"
Hawks let out a small sigh, "How about I help you brush your feathers after school?" He said.
"That way you can use them again"
"¿Really? Can you do that for me?" Tommy asked, his voice sounding surprised at the fact Hawks was actually willing to help him out with his wings.
"I sure can" Hawks said,
"And if we get them ready and fixed I can teach you some of my flying skills"
"Thanks Big H!" Tommy smiled widely as he ran up to give Hawks a hug.
'Big H? Is that some sort of Nickname?' Hawks patted his back a bit.
Tommy soon let go of him. His eyes sparkling with excitement as he jump up and down.
"I can't wait to show off my skills when I get back to the smp! Tubbo will be so impressed by it!"
Hawks laughed,
"You sure do have a lot of energy"
"And I never run out of energy, I'm like a 24/7 working machine-I can never get tired" Tommy said.
"We'll see about that" Hawks hummed
__________
Hawks smiled at the sight of the younger blonde struggling to keep himself awake. It wasn't even that dark yet he's already tired.
"What happened to 'I can never get tired'?" Hawks said, still gently brushing Tommy's feathers as some fell out.
"Shut up...I'm not tired" Tommy yawned out as he rubbed his eyes. His glare turned over at the open window.
"My eyes just hurt...That's all"
Hawks hummed in response. The comb in his hands is still gently brushing the feathers on his back.
He continued to do so until eventually he felt Tommy slowly fall into his arms. Eyes closed shut. A smile formed on his face as he looked down at the sleeping blonde in his arms.
'I guess he was just lying'
'...'
"You know it's rude to watch people like this" Hawks said,
"Sorry, I didn't want to interrupt anything" Izuku came walking out of the door, two other people following right behind him.
Hawks looked over to see them sit on the couch with him. Izuku and a red haired boy on the other and a half white and red haired boy on the one with him.
They were all looking over at the young blonde's In his arms.
The red haired boy, Kirishima, was the first to speak up.
"I didn't know that Tommy was related to you"
"Is he perhaps your little brother?" The half red-white haired boy, Todoroki said.
Hawks looked at them blankly,
"N-No we aren't related or anything-"
"But you both look so alike, minus the horns and tail and those blue eyes of his" Todoroki said
"Is that perhaps a part of his quirk as well?" Izuku said,
"Why hadn't I told him what his quirk was to begin with-" Before he could finish, Hawks immediately shushed him and the others.
He pointed at the sleeping blonde in his arms, who was moving around a bit at the sudden noise that they were making. Hawks hummed a bit as he gently brushed Tommy's feathers again. Calming him down until he stopped moving and fell asleep again.
"He's sleeping, keep it down will ya?" Hawks quietly said.
"Sorry" Izuku apologized
"I really thought you two were related" Kirishima huffed out,
"You two looked so alike"
Todoroki hummed in agreement
Hawks let out a small sigh,
"We aren't, hadn't he told you that he wasn't from here?" He asked
Izuku nodded, "He did-right after he told us he died by...a homeless green screen?" He awkwardly said.
"What did he mean by that?"
"He never told me everything," Hawks said.
"It traumatized him just by me asking about it and his backstory, so I just skipped everything about that and asked simple questions about where he came from."
"Then what about his quirk? What type of quirk is this?" Izuku said
"Quirks don't exist in their world" Hawks replied.
"He said they were all born like that-different animal part like hybrids-it's complicated"
Kirishima looked at Hawks with curious eyes, "So you're saying that all of them are animal hybrids without Quirks!? That 's so manly!"
Hawks shushed him,
"Sorry"
Hawks looked over at Izuku, who somehow took out a notebook out of thin air- as he was writing down everything he had said.
He ignored it and looked back at the blonde in his arms.
__________
After a few more minutes of talking to the trio, Hawks decided to finally stop.
"I think it's time we call it a day, don't you think?" He said.
Izuku let out a small sigh, "Your right, It's getting pretty late already"
Todoroki agreed, he got up and excused himself from the door. Kirishima and Izuku did the same, waving a small goodbye to Hawks and Tommy before both leaving the room.
Hawks returned a small smile before picking up the sleeping blonde.
'Hes lighter than I expected' He thought as he carried the young blonde in his arms.
Walking up to his dorm he slowly opened it and carried him Into the room. Where he placed him in the bed as he wrapped him up tightly before leaving him be.
"Good night Tommy" He let out a small yawn.
With that Hawks quietly left, gently closing the door behind him as he did so. Leaving the young blonde to sleep.
