We are discussing about the plan about on our upcoming expedition

"We the special ops will be here, it's the safest one in the formation" Gunther explained

"We don't have a real objective this time, the expedition won't cover much information because it's just a test run" he commented

"I'm still not quite sure what to do with this power" Eren doubted

"Hey did you know the meaning of the question that the commander asked back then?" Gunther said all of them declined 

Olou tried to act cool and pretend to know but he was harshly ignored 

I went towards my horse and patted it

"Oi, Evans" the captain called

"You know something, don't you?" he asked

"Eh??" I asked him tilting my head

He flicked my forehead

"Tch, don't act dumb you and Erwin have the same brain structure" he commented coldly 

"I'm quite flattered captain but I don't know anything at all" I said and smiled

"Tch"

The bells started ringing

All of the soldiers were on their horses

The gates opened 

"Forward!!" 

The horses started galloping 

"We now start the 57th expedition!! Advance!!"

We were now at wall Maria

An abandoned city only filled with hideous titans

The support squad was handling the titans that could ruin the formation 

I was beside the captain behind me is Eren and Petra

We were now out the old Town is wall Maria

We know started to disperse

The long distance scouting formation 

We have been travelling for a few minutes

But I could guess that the right flank is already wiped out now

By looking at the signal flare

It must be the enemy the commander was talking about

We were nearing the tall trees forest 

We entered in the centre of the forest

"Captain!" Eren called out

"What?" he answered annoyed

Eren started questioning the commander's plan

"We can't protect the support squad" 

"Quit whining about the obvious, there clearly no way we can do either of those" the captain said coldly 

"Then why?" Eren asked

"look around Eren. At these gigantic trees. It's an ideal environment to use the 3D manoeuvring gear and think with that unremarkable brain of yours if you don't want to die keep your mind alert" the captain said with coldness in each every word he spoke 

I stare at him

We suddenly heard a flare

I checked it out

A black signal flare

It must be an abnormal

Speaking of the devil

The abnormal suddenly popped killing one of the support squad soldiers

"Draw your blades" the captain shouted all of us comply to his orders

"Faster" the captain shouted

The horses started running faster

But the female titan was catching up with us

"Captain, are we going to prepare for an attack!!" Petra asked desperately for his orders

The reinforcements started fighting the female titan but sadly ended up being killed brutally

I suddenly gulped feeling remorse at the lost lives

"Captain orders!" Petra yelled

"Let's do it it's dangerous, let's handle this ourselves" Olou yelled

"I'll rip it to shreds" Eld said preparing to attack

"Captain please give us orders" Petra yelled

"It will catch up at this rate!!" Gunther yelled

"We will kill this right now!! We entered this forest to do just that!! Right captain?" Eld yelled panicking 

"Orders!! Please!"

"Evans!" the captain called out for me

I shifted my gaze to him

The both of us exchanged looks it didn't go unnoticed by the other squad members

I took out something

"Everyone cover your ears" I informed them

I shoot out the acoustic shell causing a loud bang

My ears started ringing

"What are your jobs? Is it to get fickle by emotions? You shouldn't be like that. Our duty is not to let the brat get a single scratch! Even it costs our lives" the captain scolded

"We will stay on our horse" He ordered

"Yes, sir" all of them comply

The reinforcements started swarming the female titan

"All of them would die if we don't help" Eren said worried 

but all of them were killed mercilessly 

"Eren face forward" Gunther ordered him

"Get your horse faster" Eld scolded him

Eren look at them in disbelief

"Another person died" Eren informed about the reinforcements

"We could've saved them!!" he reasoned out all of us ignored him

"Eren face forward!!" Petra ordered

"Are you telling me to turn blind eye to them" Eren yelled

"Yes, so please follow his orders!!" Petra answered

"Faye!!" Eren yelled to the person he thinks that could help him 

"Your a kind person I know you will help me right now" he asked desperately 

"Eren, please don't disobey orders. No matter how cruel this is! We must follow orders!" I yelled at him

"How could you say that!!" he said in disbelief I didn't reply 

So Eren had no choice he brought his hand toward his mouth 

Indicating that he is planning to transform the others started stopping him from doing so

"Feel free to do it" The captain suddenly said 

I stared at him his eyes were bored as usual but when you look closely 

His in distress 

His making Eren decide if whether he should trust himself or the survey corps

The others started encouraging him

"Eren!!" I yelled causing the male to shift his gaze towards me

"Trust us!!" I said smiling warmly at him

"I trust you!!" he yelled 

We remain in our horses

Until we heard many shots

"You guys take Eren to a safe place away from that titan. Eld you take in charge and Evans come with me I will leave the horses to you guys" The captain ordered he shot his 3DMG

I followed him

We shot ourselves towards the commander 

"Look like it's immobilised" The captain commented I was beside him staring at the female titan

She was tied up to prevent her from moving 

"We can't let our guard down yet" the commander said

"We bought time from the rear squad who sacrifice their lives without them it would be impossible" Captain said

"Is that so"

"Yes because of that. We could meet our little traitor. I hope there not pissing herself inside" captain said

"So I guess our theory is right" the commander said and shifted his gaze towards me

Levi stared at the two in the side while he prepared his blades but was stopped by the commander

"Fire!!" he yelled they started shooting

Captain went on top of the female titan's head he started threatening her

I was behind the commander 

Then what happened next shocked us

The titan let out a piercing scream

Then squad leader Mike went toward us informing that he smells titans

"which direction?" I asked

"Ever direction!" he answered

My eyes widen

Titans started swarming at the female titan eating her

She called for them, didn't she I thought 

The other started killing the titans defending the female titan

I killed three of the titan at the same time 

But I suddenly saw someone escaping 

It must be her I thought 

I wore my hood over my head 

I immediately followed her when she realised I was following and she quicken her pace

I stood in a branch

I tried finding where she went and suddenly I felt someone covered my mouth and restraint me from moving 

They were two of them

And then I saw the other one holding a knife 

I bit the hand covering my mouth 

"Please don't!!" I yelled 

The two of them froze

I took my chance to escape so I shot my hook 

But I felt someone hit the back of my neck 

From shock I fell from the tree

But I heard my 3DMG zipping so my body went towards to another tree hitting my head in the process 

I look back 

I saw the two of them frozen in spot 

My vision started fading 

Until I fell unconscious 

My head is throbbing!
