During the two weeks of winter holiday the three of them; Hyejoo, tae and Googie had spent a lot of time together. Googie would not only be able to spend time with his mother which he had missed while she was working but with Taehyung seeing as though he didn’t have to babysit anymore. The three would either stay home watching movies, playing games or go out to different places Taehyung would suggest.

Taehyung had taken them to an art gallery, which had an open event for people to paint or draw with artists. The three had walked around the gallery, Taehyung talking about the different artists. Hyejoo watched him talk with such passion and couldn’t help but fall for her sons teacher more. Taehyung smiled at Hyejoo apologising to his rambling to which she said it was okay and how she enjoyed it.

When taking part in the ‘find your inner artist’ programme Googie had captured a lot of attention for being the cute little artist he was. Googie wasn’t the only one who had managed to capture the hearts of the artists a certain male artist had taken a liking to Hyejoo. The artist complimented Hyejoo’s art using cringey lines such as “a masterpiece like the artist herself.” Taehyung scoffed, while Googie began to become clingy to his mother. Hyejoo ignored the artists words seeing her son needed attention as well as she was not interested.

“Mama look” he pointed to Taehyungs art. Taehyung had drown an outline in white paint of an older women which looked like Hyejoo who was hand in hand with a small child which looked like Googie. The background consisted of a baby blue and peach paint smudged together in circular motion. Hyejoo was mesmerised it was beautiful; he hands managed to capture her so well without finer detail. 

“Its beautiful Tae.” She leaned closer to look at the picture with Googie in her arms, not noticing the proximity between the two. Taehyung looked at her adore his art and he had never felt so proud and warm. “What an adorable family of artist.” One of the elder women in the programme spoke making the male artist who had flirted with Hyejoo walk away ashamed. Hyejoo thanked the woman, not wanting to correct her, in a way they were a family just not in the way the woman had imagined.

That certain event couldn’t help but make Tae imagine what they would be like as a family. He imagined having a small, cute apartment together, spending cute nights in cuddling with them both, eventually giving Googie a sibling. Taehyung blushed and shook these thoughts away; it was just a crush and he didn’t even know how Hyejoo felt. He didn’t want to ruin anything that could affect him being able to spend time Googie.

Another time Hyejoo had suggested going to an ice rink. She hadn’t been for years. It used to be a tradition in which she would go with her family during their winter breaks later that evening they would sit by the fire at home playing board games. Taehyung had been ice skating once in his life and it resulted him falling and bruising his ass. Not wanting to turn down Hyejoo who looked more excited than Googie he nodded hesitantly. Hyejoo threw her arms in the air, telling Googie all her fun memories. 

When they got there, Hyejoo and Googie ran to the desk to rent their shoes. Taehyung followed slowly behind, having not only Googie but Hyejoo tell him off for being so slow. As Taehyung took his sweet time putting on his shoes, Hyejoo was already on the ice, teaching Googie. Hyejoo skated backwards in a smooth manner holding Googies hands and pulling him with her as support. Googie managed to get the hand of it quickly and soon skated alone, Hyejoo following behind in case he fell.

They looked for Tae to see him holding onto the edge of the rink, shuffling against the ice. The mother son duo skated towards smoothly, saying they would teach him. Googie held his hands skating as Hyejoo followed behind saving him from falling. Taehyung at first had almost slipped, Hyejoo being quick to hold him up, her hand quickly grabbing his arms and pulling him up.

Taehyung laughed in embarrassment, feeling ever so flustered surprised the ice beneath him hadn’t melted away. Taehyung still didn’t manage to get used to it despite Googie and Hyejoo’s efforts so they went home sooner than intended.  Hyejoo that evening had even told Taehyung to be more honest with her, so events such as today wouldn’t happen resulting in him feeling embarrassed.

A lot of the times the three of them would go to the park, where Taehyung had found Googie and an unconscious aunt Minnie. Googie would play on the swings, slides etc with Hyejoo and Taehyung. At times he would join a group of children as Taehyung and Hyejoo sat on a bench and watched. During them moments Hyejoo and Tae would get closer, at times Hyejoo talking about her high school life before she had fallen pregnant.

One of their favourite memories included playing in the park during the snow. Due to the weather the park was slightly alone, allowing the three of them to play around like utter fools. Hyejoo screamed like a high school girl as she went down the slide landing in the dump of snow beneath her.

Taehyung ran and fell after being chased by the Jeons with snowballs.  Eventually a blizzard had started, and Taehyung hadn’t even bought his car to the park, the three had previously decided it would be a good idea to walk. When reaching Hyejoo’s house, they were covered in snow from head to toe, limbs numb and red. Yet they laughed it off when Taehyung took off his coat and a huge pile of snow fell onto the lobby floor.

When the three of them would feel lazy, they would stay in playing games, watching movies etc at Hyejoo’s apartment. Jimin would join as well, unless Anna was free which Taehyung and Hyejoo would tease him as revenge. Taehyung had formed a good friendship with Jimin, the two at times making fun of Hyejoo when getting the chance. Infact Jimin would give Taehyung advice on how to pursue Hyejoo, resulting in the teacher kicking the officer away.

Just a wholesome chapter for today.
