Hello, beautiful people! 16th June 2021 marked the first anniversary of SATCK's appearance on Wattpad!!! I still can't believe it's already been a year (just like Peter in this update) and I'm so glad and thankful to everyone reading this.

Your support means more than you think, and seeing you recommend this book, and tell me how much you enjoy it, brings tears into my eyes. Thank you!!

This update came later than expected, but I hope you enjoy it all the same. Warning: There is raging, sweet, and somehow on crack smuff after the scene change. Read with discretion.

Peter couldn't understand why anyone would fall asleep in a window seat. But then again, the flight was over 8 hours long. And even with his disbelief at the sight next to him, he still skeptical about much bigger things. Like how it had already been a year since he and Colin were officially officially together.

His graduation from UC Berkeley felt like it was weeks ago, instead of the 7 months that had passed. Colin quitting his job at Snapshot seemed almost impossible to imagine, but it had happened. And he was doing better as a freelance photographer. Peter himself was a full-time fashion model now, and it felt unreal how far he'd come.

Dakota's move from California to New York. His and Colin's plans to buy a house. Ivy's engagement to Lei; their reason for the trip, aside from Colin suggesting that this could be a perfect getaway for them too. Things had changed so massively, in such a short time that the events just floated around Peter in a haze, too faint to touch, but just real enough to recount on.

Reflecting on it all, he realized they were living a dream. And it was cemented when he looked to his side again. They were in the sky, weightless, with Colin in the seat next to him, mouth hanging slightly open and drool gathering at the corner of his lips. Peter brushed back strands of his brown hair, and as his fingers touched Colin's skin, he felt the sleeping man snuggle even closer to him.

Lily and Ivy were in the seats in front of them, with Lily replicating Colin's posture on her mother. She had fallen alseep about two hours ago---Peter wasn't really sure how much time had passed---and hadn't panicked on this flight like her initial one when the plane took off from JFK airport.

When he reached for a bottle of water, the movement disturbed Colin's slumber, and brown eyes fluttered open to stare at him a second later.

"Have a good nap?" Peter asked, taking off the cap. Colin didn't answer, but he knew the brunet was watching him as he downed half the bottle.

He offered the remaining water to Colin by tilting the bottle towards his lips, and was surprised when Colin actually drank from it.

"Mm," Colin hummed, and Peter took that as his reply. A while later, he asked, "You were awake the whole time?"

"Yes."

Colin gave him a close-lipped smile, then reached up to shut Peter's eyes by running his palm over his face. "Rest."

Peter wasn't willing to; he was looking forward to experiencing the entire flight with his eyes wide open. But his eyelids, which felt heavy long ago, finally gave in to sleep.

Their flight arrived at Shanghai Pudong airport at dusk, where we Colin ordered a ride with Didi---an alternative app to Uber, which didn't work in China. There was an awkward moment when the driver looked to Peter and spoke to him in Chinese, and he tensed, not knowing how to reply. He didn't understand English very well, and Ivy had to step in. After a 45-minute ride with Peter's sister conveniently communicating with the driver since she spoke a bit of Mandarin, they arrived at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel.

Pulling out the last of their suitcases from the car, Peter could finally inspect his surroundings. The sun was setting, and a splash of orange coloured the sky visible between looming skyscrapers. The streets were bustling, cars honking, people shuffling by without a second glance. Each person seemingly in their own world, seeking their own thrills, despite being immersed in this otherworldly environment. It was beautiful, but no one seemed to be awed as much---except a couple of tourists who were taking selfies with the hotel as a background.

They were immune to the sights, and Peter wondered if that would be the case if he had grown up here, too.

After checking in by showing the booking receipts they printed out, Ivy and Lily headed for one room, while Colin and Peter bounded for one, which was a couple of doors away from theirs. They'd spend the night in the Marriott, then head to Lei's family house after he came to get them the next day. It was in Nanxun; an ancient water town which was one Venice equivalent in China.

Peter picked their dinner that night, and within 10 minutes, room service brought up their food. The savoury scent of chicken mei fun had Colin eager to dig in---he knew this food all too well, even though it was only through Peter's flunked attempts to cook the meal. They gobbled down the rice noodles and topped it with the complimentary glasses of red wine.

Colin brought up how nice everything was, and it made Peter feel guilt over how he was only discovering a part of him now.

He had never felt particularly grounded in his culture as much as Ivy did. He wasn't born in China. He didn't know any Chinese dialects. And the only time he had worn a hanfu was for a family photo many years ago. His face was the telltale sign of his roots, and the part of his heritage he felt connected to was the food. Even with that, he'd only had whatever traditional dishes Ivy cooked.

He had a feeling his mother would have made a difference if she was alive. Peter imagined sometimes what life with her would have been like, tuning in to memories of fractions he'd heard about her in conversations. It was never enough, and he couldn't bring himself to feel sorry about the way things turned out. He didn't know her, so he couldn't miss her. Simple.

"Yeah, it's great. But I'm as much of a stranger as you are," he said with a sigh, plopping down on the bed after pushing the service cart outside.

"What do you mean?"

"My parents migrated to America before I was born. Ivy lived in Shanghai until she was 6, though. And even though it's been over 25 years, she still knows stuff." He paused, closing his eyes. "People look at me expecting me to speak Mandarin or some other dialect, and I just end up looking stupid because all I can say is Nǐ hǎo and Xièxiè nǐ."

"Oh," Colin said. He didn't know what to do after seeing Peter pout. Clearing his throat, he finally asked, "What's that second one mean?"

Peter shrugged. "Thanks... I think?"

"You think?"

"It's not like you know any other languages." He grabbed a pillow and threw it, aiming at Colin's face. The brunet caught it and tossed it onto the couch behind him.

"I'm very fluent in sex talk, thank you very much." He rubbed his neck, giving Peter a pointed look.

"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear you ever say that."

"Too bad." Colin's smile was daring as he crawled onto the bed next to Peter. The brunet pressed his forehead against his boyfriend's, lips hovering a couple of inches above Peter's. "We're just gonna gonna pass a night in a 5-star hotel with no fun, then?"

"I never said that." He tried to kiss Colin, but was denied the chance when he pulled away the second their lips brushed.

"Did you bring lube?"

"No. Airport security was intimidating enough. Imagine them seeing I was transporting lube from America to China in my bags. It would feel worse than if I was smuggling drugs."

"You could have just ended at no."

Peter rolled his eyes. "I'm sure we can get some here in the hotel."

"Yeah, but don't you wanna explore a little? In a non-touristy way? Like we could go find a pharmacy or something?"

Peter agreed, and soon, they were walking down the streets of this mystical place. The skyscrapers were seemingly infinite as the tops of them became concealed by dark clouds, which looked pregnant with rain.

They held hands, both of them feeling immense happiness at the gesture.

"Hey, you know something?" Colin asked, slowing down.

Peter stopped, looking up at him with curiosity. "No. What?"

Colin's grip tightened when he pulled him off the street and into an alley. He caged Peter between the wall and his body, and before the latter could react, Colin's lips sealed his. This wasn't what he expected, but he wouldn't complain when his lips felt like heaven. The kiss didn't last as long as Peter wanted, but Colin made up for it with his whisper of "I love you, Peter Chu."

"I love you too," he whispered back, suddenly breaking into a smile when he saw Colin's face flush with excitement at his words. It was like this every time; Colin would act like it was the first time Peter said those words no matter how many times he did. He found it sweet.

"Lets hurry, I think it's gonna rain soon."

They trudged on again, the anticipation that emanated from both of them almost tangible. With the help of the default map app on Peter's iPhone, they found a pharmacy two blocks away, and entered it as the sky darkened further.

Colin bought a box of condoms and lube as Peter looked around the place, seemingly interested in the displays of cough medicine and not what the brunet was doing. He wasn't sure how the locals felt about LGBTQ people, and even though they were probably more tolerant of tourists, the community was still conservative from what he knew.

He left before Colin did and waited for him to catch up next to a tea vendor's stall. The weather got colder, and both of them knew they had to make a run for it after the first few drop of rain fell on their skin.

A turn away from the hotel; the downpour started. The streets were painted neon as the puddles reflected the sign of every shop down the alleyways. The musicality of the honking horns, and occasional profanity of one anxious delivery driver, was subdued by the evening light and pounding rain.

Peeling off his wet clothes, Peter dropped them in the tub. He was wringing out his hair in the sink when Colin walked into the bathroom and met his eyes in the mirror. He saw Colin's eyes travel down his body slowly, as if memorizing every detail, emphasised by the rain water which glistened on his skin.

After he finished college, Peter had a lot of free time, and had been hitting the gym with Colin. It wasn't always, but he was consistent enough to gain some muscle and maintain it.

"Don't stare. It's rude."

"Don't look hot. It's distracting," Colin replied with a straight face.

Peter ignored him, despite his delight at knowing how much Colin was affected. The growing bulge in his pants was much more visible, since the wet fabric stuck to his body like a second skin.

"Well, someone's already excited." Peter ran his hands through his hair before turning and reaching for a towel.

Colin caught his hand before he could, and he laughed lightly, gaze flitting to Peter's own hardening cock. "I could say the same about you, Pikachu." He asked for Peter's other hand, then placed them on the ends of the sink, adding, "Be a darling and hold on to this for me. Don't let go."

"What if I get an itch?"

"Then you tell me, so I can scratch it for you. Is that fine?"

"Yes." He watched Colin's movements in the mirror, and got frustrated when he realised he would not see what was happening below their waistlines because of its length. Still, the idea of spontaneity sent shivers through his body.

The first move, though, was expected. He saw Colin's face inch towards his neck, before he felt the sucking. Saw his arm move up, before he felt it wrap around his throat and force their lips together. The action caused a moan to escape from his mouth, and he felt Colin smile into the kiss.

He was impossibly hard now, and he couldn't tell if it was just plain want, or if it was coupled with the direction the brunet was taking things. Either way, he didn't care.

"Colin," Peter mumbled, unintentionally allowing Colin's tongue to slip into his mouth. He was at a loss for words at the unexpected action, but fuck if it didn't turn him on even more. He leaned back, as far as he could go, with his hands still poised on the sink, until he was pressed against Colin's chest.

Breaths heavy and uneven from making out, he could finally voice out his thoughts. "I h-have an itch."

"Where?"

"Everywhere." Peter replied.

"I need you to specify."

"Please." He choked on a breath as Colin played with his nipples. "Please, no more teasing. I'm already holding this fucking sink like you told me to." He sounded desperate, and was elated when Colin's reflection nodded in thought.

"True."

He saw Colin bend before warm liquid dribbled on his ass. Finally. He braced himself for any form of penetration, but it never came, and the moment Peter tried to look behind him, Colin held his face to the mirror.

"Don't look away. Keep your eyes on us."

Peter concluded it wasn't a hard feat. But he underestimated Colin's intentions when the lube... tingled. It burnt slightly, like that feeling when a needle pricked your skin. Except the needles felt like a hundred, and a sudden smack to his backside contributed to it.

He moaned, swaying forward when the impact of Colin's hand spread more heat in his skin. A finger wiggled its way into him, at the same time a hand wrapped around his dick and stroked him until it tingled just like his ass did.

Peter tried to obey Colin, tried to keep his eyes open so he could drink in the fascinated expression he had at his reaction. But his eyes felt heavy, and the sensations were overwhelming. He gave in, but Colin made sure his eyes went wide open by pushing two more fingers into him.

"Oh, fuck." Peter panted, suddenly very aware of Colin's warm breath against his neck and the hand which jacked him at a quicker pace. He knew he wouldn't last long if this went on. And he was sure he was going to pass out from the combination of dopamine jetlag if he came. That would bring the night to an abrupt end, and he wanted Colin to feel good, too.

"I-I've had enough. I want you to stop. Please, stop." Peter stared at their reflections, heart pounding when he saw concern cloud Colin's features. His eyes widened, and he pulled away completed, hands lifted in surrender.

"Did I hurt---" He was cut off when Peter surprised him with an aggressive kiss, then pulled out of the bathroom and towards the bed.

He pinned Colin to the bed with his body, kissing a trail from the sparse chest hairs to his erection. He wrapped his lips around Colin's dick and sucked as best as he could, only pausing for a breath when he felt his gag reflexes about to kick in.

"I'm okay, don't worry. Where did you put the condoms?" Peter asked as he wiped saliva from the corner of his mouth. Colin pointed to the bedside table, and Peter kissed him before grabbing one, fumbling with the packet, and slipping it on.

With dilated pupils that reflected his need, Colin looked up at Peter again. The brown of his eyes was darker, and the look in them almost carnal. Perfect.

Peter leaned forward, both his hands landing on either side of Colin's head. He buried his face in Colin's neck and breathed him in, smiling at the feeling of Colin's hardness rubbing against his stomach when it twitched.

Peter nipped and sucked a trail from his neck up to his jawline,m before his lips crashed in Colin's parted ones. The kiss wasn't slow. Wasn't relaxed, but just as passionate. Even more so, considering Peter's hands, which spread his legs apart, and right under Colin's knees.

They pulled away from the kiss, and in the split second where their lips were a Peter said, "I won't be slow," in a hoarse voice.

"I never asked you to be," Colin told him, voice just as scratchy.

His lips broke into a smile as he kissed the brunet once more, and buried himself in him through one fluid motion. Colin gasped at the intrusion, but they lost the small sound in the next kiss. Along with his pleas, his moans, his groans.

Peter's hips surged forwards, his thrusts relentless. Going all the way in. And out. And in again. It left both of them dazed as pleasure built up, wrenching every breath in them. They came together. Muted, but for their facial expressions which told more than words could.
