You were having trouble sleeping lately. You hadn't understood why. To be honest, you've always slept peacefully since when you were born.
You tossed and turn and still couldn't even get a wink of sleep! You sighed and switched on your lamp. Taking your phone from the bedside table, you dialed an all too familiar number and pressed the call button.
A few rings have passed and there was no answer from the other line. "Who am I kidding?" You mumbled. "He's probably already asleep. I mean, it's really late." You sighed and was about to end the call when someone spoke from the other line.
"Uh, hello..?" Hearing the familiarly beautiful voice of your lover, you squealed internally and mumbled a soft "hi". "Name? Why are you still awake? Is something the matter?" He asks in the inaudibly soft voice of his.
"I can't sleep," You grumbled and pouted to yourself. Hearing a soft chuckle on the other line only made you protrude your lower lip more. "I've been having insomia these past few days..." Sighing, you laid on your stomach and covered your whole body with your blanket.
"Alright, I'll be there. Make sure to leave your window open, eh?" He replies as a few shuffles sounded from the other line, indicating that he was putting on shoes.
"Okay, I'll be waiting." You yawned, although you couldn't get yourself to fall asleep. Hearing a door opening and closing on the other line, you laid on your back and pulled the blankets down enough to reveal your eyes.
A few moments have passed while your phone was still pressed against your ear. Thumping of shoes sounded through your phone as you waited for the blonde male.

"Mattie?" You whispered loud enough for him to hear. You heard a small hum telling you to go on. "Do you have anything that you fear?" You asked, playing with a strand of your hair.
"Everyone has fears, Name. I'd be lying if I said I didn't." He chuckled at your irrelevant question. "One of my fears would be that of you forgetting me." He mumbles almost inaudibly.
"I won't forget you, Mattie. I love you too much for that." You giggled, a smile finding its way on your delicate lips.
"Hold on," He made soft grunts as if he was climbing something then hung up. You sighed, staring at your ceiling. Feeling pressure on the bed beside you, you turned to look at the intruder who has entered your den. "Hey, there." Greeted a sweet smiling face.
You sat up and patted the space beside you. Matthew sits there and you cover yourselves under the blanket. You laid your head on his shoulder and a satisfied sigh escapes your lips. Matthew pulls you closer and strokes your hair.
"So, you said you couldn't sleep?" Matthew spoke, his warm breath hitting the back of your neck. You nodded and nuzzled closer to your boyfriend's warm body. "You know what I do when I couldn't sleep?" You shook your head, remaining silent. "I cuddle with Kumajiro, like thisss~." He mumbles and nuzzles his face into your hair, pulling you even closer in a soft, warm hug.
"It definitely feels great, Mattie." You smiled, listening to his heartbeat. "I'm feeling quite sleepy now." You said, yawning. "It's definitely working."
"It always does." He smiles silently and plants a kiss on your forehead. "I love you so much, Name. More than anything."
"Same goes for you, Matthew. I love you." You said in final and closed your eyes as you drifted off into dreamland, dreaming about pancakes and Matthew.
