The sound of your fingers gracefully dancing across the piano keys filled the music room, creating a beautiful impromptu melody that seemed to weave through the air. Lost in your own world, you were unaware of Kanato's presence as he entered the room.

Kanato, your classmate, stood at the entrance, his gaze fixated on you. He had always admired your talent and found solace in the ethereal music you created. But today, frustration gripped his heart when he called out to you, and you remained oblivious, your focus solely on the piano.

His anger intensified with each passing second of being ignored. In a fit of irritation, he stomped over, clutching his beloved Teddy tightly in his hand. The sound of his footsteps broke through your reverie, and you turned your head to face him, a smile gracing your lips as you greeted him.

However, before you could utter a word, the sight before you horrified you. Kanato, consumed by his anger, tore at the keys of the piano with a violent force. The once harmonious notes turned into a cacophony of shattered sounds. Tears welled up in your eyes as you watched the beautiful instrument being desecrated before you.

Overwhelmed by his own actions, Kanato immediately recoiled, his eyes widening with regret. He realized the magnitude of his mistake, how he had let his anger cloud his judgment. The realization hit him hard, and he crumbled to his knees before you, desperately trying to find the right words.

"Please forgive me," Kanato pleaded, his voice trembling. "I didn't mean it. I was wrong." He looked up at you, his eyes filled with remorse and regret. "I called out to you, but you couldn't hear me because the music was too loud. I... I shouldn't have let my anger get the better of me."

You gazed down at him, your tears mingling with a mix of sadness and confusion. The pain of seeing your cherished instrument destroyed still lingered, but your heart softened at Kanato's genuine apology. He was a complex individual, burdened by his emotions, and in this moment, he revealed a vulnerable side.

Silence enveloped the room as you considered his words. Slowly, you reached out a hand, brushing away the remnants of tears from your cheeks. Kanato's eyes widened with hope as he watched your reaction.

"It hurt," you finally spoke, your voice laced with vulnerability. "But... I understand. I know you didn't mean it."

Kanato's breath caught in his throat as relief flooded over him. He reached out, his hand trembling, and gently took hold of yours. His touch was delicate, as if afraid to cause further harm.

"Thank you for understanding," he whispered, his voice filled with sincerity. "I... I promise I'll do better. I'll control my anger, especially when it comes to something as precious as your music."

A fragile smile formed on your lips as you nodded in acceptance. It was a step toward healing the wounds that had been inflicted. Kanato, still kneeling before you, vowed silently to himself that he would protect your melodies, cherishing every note that flowed from your fingertips.
