History of the youth
The First Youth Congress was held in Batavia from April 30th to May 2nd, 1926. Led by Muhammad Tabrani, it aimed to unite various regional youth organizations into a national entity. The congress led to the realization of the need for unity in Indonesia. The second Youth Congress, held later, resulted in the Youth Pledge on October 28th, with the famous quote "one homeland, one nation, and one language, that is Indonesia".
