Racing Hearts

Engine roars. Muffler screams. Screeching tires. For Lilaine Yumei Lorenzo, nothing in these things can ever compare to the loudness of the cries of her heart, instead, these things have become her companion and comfort. Her car heard her stories and cries. The gas pedal felt her pain the most. And her muffler screamed when she couldn't. Sasakyan ang naging sandalan niya. To wait for someone- no matter how long, is one of the purest forms of love. Pero paano nga ba natin masisigurado na hindi tayo naghihitay sa wala? Paano ba natin masisigurado na may babalik pa? Mananatili ka pa rin bang maghihintay kahit malabo na? Hanggang kelan tayo aasa sa isang bagay na walang katiyakan?
