Eliza Whittle is no ordinary girl. Plagued by a fanatic scientist who wants to experiment on her strange powers, she and her best friend in the world, her pet dog, find themselves fleeing to London. She manages to lose him but ends up hopelessly lost, and while wandering around the maze of streets, she runs into a local boy who insists on aiding her escape.
